Bagley has taken advantage of his opportunity with Philadelphia. He’s on a second 10-day contract, and he was able to record his second consecutive double-double in this game. He set new career highs for both rebounds and steals after recording a 20/10 double-double on Friday. Bagley likely didn’t do enough to earn a standard contract, and he will probably be back in the G League next season. Still, it was cool to see him play this well.

Bagley entered Friday’s game having made just one of his 21 attempts from beyond the arc this season. However, he found his shot in this game, even if it didn’t result in a win. The younger brother of former No. 2 overall pick Marvin Bagley, Marcus has gotten to start the last three games for the 76ers and will finish out the season on his second 10-day contract for them. He will likely spend next season back in the G League, where he has played well for the 76ers’ affiliate over the last two seasons.

With Justin Edwards out due to injury and Guerschon Yabusele for personal reasons, the 76ers had two voids to fill in their starting lineup. Walker and Bagley move into the starting five, with the former being the safer streaming choice for managers in active leagues.

The 23-year-old made five appearances on the first contract, averaging 4.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 20 minutes per game. He’ll wrap up the season with the 76ers and should play a large role, but he’ll likely be back in the G League to start next season.

Not selected in the 2023 NBA Draft, Bagley has spent the past two seasons with the 76ers’ G League affiliate. Averaging 11.3 points and 8.1 rebounds per game, the small forward has earned a 10-day contract with the 76ers. Bagley’s addition to the 76ers’ roster is unlikely to impact fantasy basketball.
