Initially questionable for Monday’s game with back spasms, Bridges looked fine against the Lakers. He shot well over 50 percent from the field and recorded a complete stat line while only committing two turnovers. With LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller out due to injury, most of the offense has run through Bridges, and he’s closing in on top-25 value in nine-cat formats. While some may be tempted to sell high, the circumstances make Bridges a player worth holding onto until there’s a clearer idea of how much longer Ball and Miller will be out.

Bridges was originally listed as questionable with back spasms over the weekend, but was upgraded to probable Monday afternoon. Now that Bridges is officially available, expect him to handle his typical workload against the Lakers.

Bridges hasn’t missed a game this season, and of course Monday’s matchup with LA will be no exception. Expect him to take the floor and handle his usual allotment of minutes.

Bridges is dealing with back spasms, which is why he is on the injury report for Monday night. He’s yet to miss a game this season, and Bridges not playing would leave a sizable hole in the Hornets’ rotation. Pat Connaughton may figure more prominently in the rotation after playing 10 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Heat, but he would not be worth streaming.

On the heels of a 29-point performance over the weekend in a blowout win over Utah without LaMelo Ball (ankle) and Brandon Miller (shoulder), Bridges reached the 20-point plateau once again in this one. He had a chance to give the Hornets the lead in the closing seconds, but his fadeaway three-pointer came up short. He did most of his damage in the first half of this one when he drained three of five three-point attempts to notch a game-high 16 points at the break. He’ll be asked to carry Charlotte’s offense while both Ball and Bridges are out.

On the second night of a back-to-back, Bridges nearly equalled the 30 points he recorded against the Timberwolves on Saturday. His shooting was much less efficient on Sunday, but he still made his way to the charity stripe frequently to help land his scoring production. Bridges also made contributions as a facilitator and added multiple makes from beyond the arc. Overall, his performance against the Jazz was enough to stop the Hornets’ three-game losing streak and put them in the win column for only the third time this season.

Bridges was one of the few bright spots for Charlotte in an eventual one-sided contest as he knocked down eight of his first 11 shots, including five three-pointers to close the first half with a game-high 21 points. He was relatively quiet in the second half as Minnesota pulled away by outscoring Charlotte 36-18 in the third quarter. It’s certainly encouraging to see him shoot well in this one against one of the better defensive teams in the league.

This was a disappointing performance from Bridges outside of the rebounds and three-pointers. He did not record any assists, steals or blocked shots, much to the chagrin of fantasy managers who have him rostered. More concerning is the continued poor shooting, with Bridges making just 39.5 percent of his attempts through five games. He remains a top-100 player, but Bridges would be far more valuable with a better field-goal percentage.

Bridges, who only logged 18 minutes on Friday, finishes his preseason with a flourish. The Hornets forward scored 20 points or more in his final three games while shooting 26-of-47 from the field. While he isn’t a lock to provide top-50 value, due mainly to inconsistent defensive production, Bridges should be a relatively safe middle-round option in standard leagues. Based on his Yahoo! ADP of 63, it’s apparent that many fantasy managers view him similarly.

Bridges scored a total of 15 points over his first two preseason games but has surpassed 20 in each of his last two. He was joined by LaMelo Ball (23) and Brandon Miller (21) in scoring at least 20 points. If all three are able to score at this rate, the Hornets will have a chance to push for a postseason spot. This was a strong night for Bridges, but he likely won’t shoot quite this well during the regular season often.

Bridges and Williams will be unavailable for Charlotte’s season finale, opening up two spots in the starting lineup. Tidjane Salaue and Jusuf Nurkic are the likely starters, with Moussa Diabate (illness, questionable) also factoring into the center rotation if he’s allowed to play. Bridges performed to expectation this season, providing sixth-round value in eight-cat formats. While Williams exceeded his Yahoo! ADP (102), injuries limited him to 44 appearances. The young center possesses a high fantasy ceiling, but the injury history makes him challenging to trust in competitive leagues.

At this stage in the season, Bridges is Charlotte’s only healthy fantasy-relevant player. While he did score a team-high 22 points against the Kings, the Hornets forward had a rough night shooting the basketball. Bridges was 2-of-11 from beyond the arc, which did a number on his overall field-goal percentage. Over the past two weeks, Miles has provided 10th-round value in eight-cat formats and is ranked outside the top 150 in nine-cat. Charlotte ends Week 22 with a home game against the Bulls on Sunday.

Bridges played just 24 minutes in the Hornets’ 14-point loss. The 27-year-old small forward is the primary offensive option for Charlotte with LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller sidelined. Bridges was efficient with 18 points on 10 shots including two made three-pointers. He’s scored at least 20 points in just three of his last nine games, but should have a higher scoring ceiling as the No. 1 option for the Hornets.

Initially questionable for Wednesday’s game, Bridges is officially available. He’ll take his usual place within the starting lineup, and Bridges’ availability also means Tidjane Salaun will miss out on an increase in his playing time.

Bridges and Gibson are dealing with illnesses ahead of Wednesday’s matchup. Tidjane Salaun could get some extra burn if Bridges misses time. Gibson’s status shouldn’t affect fantasy basketball, though.

Bridges led the Hornets in the win over the Jazz Monday with LaMelo Ball out. The 27-year-old small forward was just two assists away from a triple-double. He was efficient on offense and made three of his six attempted three-pointers. Bridges has had at least 10 rebounds in three of his last seven games. He’d had at least 20 points in just two of his last seven games entering play Monday, but has a higher scoring ceiling with Ball sidelined.

Bridges enjoyed a torrid scoring streak from late February to mid-March in which he averaged 28.3 points on 48.9 percent shooting. In five games since then, he’s scored 70 total points on 26-of-76 shooting. Bridges will shoot his way out his current slump, and fantasy managers will just have to hope that he does so sooner rather than later.

After only making two shots during the first three periods of Sunday’s game, Bridges made five in the fourth. That flurry salvaged what was an underwhelming effort from the Hornets forward, whose 13 rebounds were one shy of his season-high. Over the past two weeks, Bridges has been a top-25 player in eight-cat formats. The Hornets begin a three-game Week 21 on Tuesday when the Magic visit Charlotte.

Bridges was able to play in both legs of Charlotte’s back-to-back after missing Tuesday’s game against Atlanta. He was better as a scorer on Friday than he was on Thursday, and he was still able to contribute some value in other categories. He only played 26 minutes because of the lopsided score, but it was encouraging that he was able to get to 20 points after two games in a row with fewer after a seven-game streak with at least 20 points. They’ll close out the week in Miami on Sunday.

Bridges was given a rest night on Tuesday against Atlanta, but he was listed as probable with an illness for this game, so perhaps that was the issue on Tuesday. There is a chance that the illness played a role in Bridges’ poor shooting night, and it ended up being the second-straight subpar shooting night for him after an excellent stretch. Charlotte still has two more games this week, including the second night of a back-to-back on Friday.

Bridges has produced at a high level for Charlotte recently, but they’ll give him the night off against Atlanta. Marcus Garrett, Nick Smith Jr. and Wendell Moore Jr. are all candidates to fill out the open spot in the starting lineup.

Bridges has scored at least 20 points in seven straight games and shot at least 50 percent from the field in each of his last three games. The 26-year-old small forward was just three rebounds and two assists shy of a triple-double against the Spurs. Bridges has been a top-10 fantasy value over the last two weeks with his uptick in scoring. Fantasy managers have to hope the Hornets allow him to continue playing through the fantasy playoffs as they did last season.

Bridges has been on quite the tear over Charlotte’s last five games. He has scored at least 25 points in four of their last five, with a 23-point night mixed in. He has scored at least 35 in three of those, with a career-high 46 point night in there as well. During that stretch, he has averaged 33 points, 8.6 rebounds, four assists, one block and 3.2 three-pointers per game while shooting 50.5 percent from the floor and 92.5 percent from the free throw line. This was the first of a four-game week, with all of their games on the road. Bridges will look to keep it going in Atlanta on Wednesday.

Bridges was the team’s leading scorer once again, but this was a true team effort as Charlotte finished the game on 12-0 run to steal a win. Bridges is the last starter standing in Charlotte’s war of attrition, and he’ll continue to see heavy minutes and usage until the Hornets decide it’s time to take the tanking to another level. Until that happens, fantasy managers should count on huge numbers.

The Hornets had the Cavaliers on the ropes in this one as they led by nine points with under six minutes to play. Bridges was a huge part of that effort as he dropped a career-high 46 points. Cleveland showed they were the better team as they closed the game with 23-13 run, but that doesn’t matter for Bridges’ fantasy managers. The 26-year-old small forward has been a top-20 fantasy value since the All-Star break and the good times continued Friday with a career game.

Bridges had made multiple three-pointers in three straight games and eight of his last nine games entering play Wednesday. The 26-year-old small forward struggled against the Timberwolves as he went 1-of-8 from behind the three-point line. Bridges had a fine game otherwise as he was still able to drop 23 points, pull down nine rebounds and dish out five assists. He’s provided top-20 value since the All-Star break, though fantasy managers have to hope he’s not shutdown come the fantasy playoffs.

Initially probable due to illness, Bridges had one of his best offensive games of the season on Monday night. He matched his season-high with 36 points, and the Hornets forward has shot 50 percent or better from the field in three of his four 30-point outings. Since the All-Star break, Bridges has provided top-20 value in eight- and nine-cat formats. Fantasy managers who have him rostered hope Bridges won’t be shut down before (or during) the playoff weeks. The Hornets didn’t shut him down last season; hopefully, that will be the case as this season approaches its conclusion.

Initially probable for Monday’s game, Bridges has officially been cleared to play. He’ll take on his usual responsibilities within the starting lineup. Tidjane Salaun’s minutes will be limited off the bench, but there may come a point in the season when the Hornets decide to play their lottery pick more minutes.
