Barnes was just two assists shy of a triple-double on Sunday, but his best play against the Thunder came on the defensive end. With a two-point lead and less than 30 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, Barnes blocked Chet Holmgren on a midrange shot. The Raptors would hold the lead and eventually win 103-101. Barnes has provided third-round per game value over the last two weeks. Toronto has three games in the upcoming week, beginning with a matchup against the Knicks on Wednesday.

Barnes has scored at least 22 points in five straight games, continuing to produce at a high level for fantasy managers. Over the past two weeks, the Raptors’ forward has been a top-25 player in eight-cat formats. After serving as the small-ball five to begin Tuesday’s win over the Warriors, Barnes was in a more comfortable position on Wednesday. But it doesn’t matter where he plays; Barnes will be a highly valuable player for the Raptors and fantasy managers.

Barnes finished three rebounds shy of a triple-double on a night when the Raptors were clicking on all cylinders offensively. Their 42 assists were a season-high, with Barnes and Immanuel Quickley reaching double figures in that category. Barnes has been one of the best players in fantasy basketball this season, providing top-20 value in eight- and nine-cat formats.

Barnes has scored at least 22 points in three straight and four of his last five appearances, providing reliable offensive value. However, defensive production has decreased recently, which is why his season-long value has slipped out of the first round in 12-team, eight-cat formats. That said, Barnes is still averaging 2.7 “stocks” per game for the season, so fantasy managers should not be too concerned about the recent decrease in production in steals and blocks.

Barnes scored 24 points, but had little help from his teammates in the overtime loss to the Clippers on Friday. No one else on the Raptors had at least 20 points. Toronto blew an 11-point fourth quarter lead and lost by four in overtime. They scored eight points over the last 8:35 of game time and Barnes had all eight points. He’s provided fifth-round per game value over the last two weeks. The Raptors close out the week Sunday against the Lakers.

Barnes finished Wednesday’s victory with a season-high in assists, with the tally of 13 being one shy of his career-high. The Raptors’ forward/guard finished three rebounds shy of a triple-double, and he continues to offer elite category-league value. The Raptors play twice more in Week 13, starting with the Clippers on Friday, and that’s good news for those who have Barnes rostered.

Give the 76ers credit for a much-improved defensive effort on Barnes, who was limited to 15 points after scoring 31 in Sunday’s overtime victory. However, he still filled the stat sheet, and poor shooting performances have been far from the norm for the Raptors’ star. A third-round player in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks, Barnes has offered top-15 per-game value for the season.

Barnes got off to a phenomenal start with 20 first-half points on 7-of-12 shooting and six free throws in his return following a brief one-game absence due to a minor right knee injury. He knocked down a go-ahead free throw with one second left in overtime to put Toronto ahead for good in the marathon affair. It was his fourth 30-point effort of the season and just two points shy of his season-high mark set back on October 26. The two teams will square off again on Monday night for the tail-end of a back-to-back as the Raptors kick off a four-game week that also includes matchups against the Pacers, Clippers and Lakers.

Barnes is back after a one-game absence. Sandro Mamukelashvili replaced him in the starting lineup, but the Raptors could choose to start both since RJ Barrett and Brandon Ingram are out. Even if he comes off the bench, Mamu will play quality minutes.

Barnes did not play in Friday’s loss to the Celtics, resulting in Sandro Mamukelashvili moving into the starting lineup alongside Collin Murray-Boyles. If Barnes can play on Sunday, Mamu could potentially remain in the starting lineup since RJ Barrett (ankle) is out.

Barnes suffered a right knee injury in Wednesday’s game against the Hornets, but was able to finish the contest. Now the 24-year-old small forward has been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Celtics with a right knee sprain. Sandro Mamukelashvili or Ochai Agbaji could move into the starting lineup with Barnes out.

Barnes briefly exited from Wednesday’s game against the Hornets due to a right knee injury, but he was able to return to finish out the game. However, he missed shootaround on Friday and is now expected to be sidelined. With Collin Murray-Boyles already starting, Sandro Mamukelashvili or Ochai Agbaji will likely start with Barnes expected out.

Barnes injured his right knee during Wednesday’s win over the Hornets but returned after a trip to the locker room. He has been diagnosed with a sprain and is questionable for Friday. If Barnes can’t play, the Raptors will look to Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett for more production.

Barnes fell short of a triple-double, but he was able to turn in a strong stat line in the win over Atlanta. This was the third time in his last five games that Barnes has finished with at least 10 assists. It has been an excellent season for Barnes, which has been highlighted by a major leap in efficiency. That held true in this one, as he shot at least 50 percent for a third straight game. He’ll look to keep it going in Charlotte on Wednesday.

Barnes became the first player in Raptors history to have a game with at least 20 points, at least 14 rebounds and at least 10 assists. It’s his second triple-double in his last three games. Over his last three games, he’s had 50 rebounds. While the 24-year-old small forward is still testing the limits of his game, he’s established himself as one of the best players in all of fantasy basketball this season. The Raptors finish up the week against the Hawks Saturday.

Barnes’ biggest play of the night came on the defensive end rather than the offensive end. Clinging to a 107-106 lead in the final seconds, Barnes locked up Paolo Banchero, who missed a shot at the buzzer. The 24-year-old small forward’s scoring has been down recently with 14 or less points in four of his last six games. Barnes has still tallied 36 rebounds over his last two games as he’s taken over on the glass. The Raptors play again Wednesday against the Nuggets.

Barnes authored a historic stat-stuffing performance, becoming the first player in Raptors history to record a triple-double with at least 20 points and 20 rebounds. The 24-year-old franchise cornerstone hauled in a career-high 25 boards — including nine on the offensive glass — and went 11-of-16 from inside the arc to notch just his fifth 20-point outing since the start of December. He’s steadily cemented himself as one of the top players in the fantasy landscape this season, returning second-round value through 33 games, averaging 19.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.5 blocks. The Raptors finish the tail-end of a back-to-back against the Magic on Monday night before closing out a three-game week with showdowns against the Nuggets and Hawks.

Barnes had to leave Friday’s game during the second half with a left hip injury, but he was not gone for long. That, and the assist tally, may be the lone positives for him on this night. Over the last two weeks, the Raptors forward has been a fifth-round player in eight-cat formats, three rounds lower than his season-long value. Barnes will look to end Week 10 on a high note when the Raptors host Golden State on Sunday.

Barnes is a late addition to the injury report, and his potential absence would open up plenty of minutes and usage. The rookie Collin Murray-Boyles would likely replace him in the starting unit, and with his fantasy-friendly game, he’d be an appealing streaming option.

Barnes paced Toronto’s scoring attack, hitting 10-of-13 shots from inside the three-point line, as the Raptors raced out to an early lead and never took their foot off the gas pedal. It was encouraging to see the 24-year-old franchise building block get back on track from a scoring standpoint after delivering just 20 points combined over his last two contests. He’s delivered second-round fantasy value this season as a remarkable all-around contributor, averaging 19.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.6 blocks through 31 games.

After missing out on his second All-Star Game appearance last season, Barnes is putting together a good argument to make that happen this winter. He recorded his 14th double-double of the season on Thursday, and the final line included three defensive contributions. That said, Barnes’ fantasy value has slipped recently, due mainly to poor foul shooting. Over the last two weeks, he’s made 61.5 percent of his attempts, including a 2-of-5 night in Milwaukee.

Barnes’ stat line included his 13th double-double, halfway to his total during the 2024-25 season. Thus far, the Raptors forward has been one of the most productive players in fantasy basketball, regardless of league format. While many managers had high expectations for Barnes, few expected him to threaten first-round value in 12-team leagues as he currently is.

Finishing two assists shy of a triple-double, Barnes recorded his 12th double-double of the season on Sunday. He continues to provide first-round value in 12-team, nine-cat formats while sitting a few spots outside of that threshold in eight-cat. Boosting Barnes’ fantasy value is the fact that he has not missed a game this season. He’ll look to help the Raptors advance to the NBA Cup semifinals in Las Vegas when they host the Knicks on Tuesday.

Barnes and the Raptors didn’t get the victory on Thursday, but he provided fantasy managers with another exquisite stat line. The forward/guard finished one assist shy of his first triple-double of the season, and he did so on excellent percentages. Over the past two weeks, Barnes has provided top-10 per-game value in eight-cat formats, slightly better than his season-long production. While it’s still early, he’s trending toward making the second All-Star Game appearance of his career.

Barnes, who was named Eastern Conference Defensive Player of the Month earlier on Tuesday, blocked two more shots against the Trail Blazers. And his defensive production is one reason why the Raptors forward ranks among the best players in fantasy basketball this season. Averaging 1.4 steals and 1.6 blocks per game, Barnes is providing first-round value in 12-team formats. And he’s shown no signs of slowing down, especially with the improvements he’s made offensively.

Barnes knocked down six of eight to score a game-high 16 first-half points, but was held to just two points in the second half as some fatigue seemed to set in for the Raptors on the second night of a back-to-back. The Raptors suffered their second straight defeat after their nine-game win streak was snapped earlier this weekend in an overtime loss to the Hornets. They’ve dropped nine straight games against the Knicks dating back to January 22, 2023. The 24-year-old playmaker has put together an outstanding season, delivering first-round value for fantasy purposes, averaging 19.9 points, eight rebounds, five assists, 1.4 steals and 1.6 blocks through 21 games. Toronto opens a four-game week on Tuesday against the Trail Blazers before matchups against the Lakers, Hornets and Celtics.

Barnes recorded an excellent stat line on Saturday, but his run of consecutive made free throws ended at 25. So, José Calderon’s franchise record of 87 consecutive made free throws remains safe. Overtime loss and free-throw streak aside, Barnes has been outstanding this season. And in fantasy, he has been a top-15 player in eight- and nine-cat formats. The Raptors play four games during Week 7, starting with Portland on Tuesday.

For just the second time in his last seven games, Barnes scored at least 20 points. However, he has remained a highly valuable option in fantasy leagues, even with a slight dip in scoring. Over the past two weeks, Barnes has been a top-15 player in eight- and nine-cat formats, which aligns with his season-long value. The Raptors end Week 6 with a back-to-back against the Hornets and Knicks on Saturday and Sunday. The matchup with Charlotte should be an especially good one for Barnes.

Barnes made a big impact on Monday’s win, finishing as one of four Toronto players to score in double figures, and one of two to collect double-digit rebounds. Despite missing on each of his three-point attempts, Barnes shot the ball efficiently overall and also found a way to conclude as one of the Raptors’ best playmakers on the night. With his work on the glass, he collected his eighth double-double of the season and will have a chance to land a consecutive one against the Pacers on Wednesday.
