Initially reported as a one-year agreement, Coffey has agreed to a non-guaranteed training camp deal. Not selected in the 2019 draft, he spent his first six seasons with the Clippers, averaging 6.7 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.0 three-pointers in 18.4 minutes per game. Last season, Coffey shot nearly 41 percent from three on 3.4 attempts per game while also averaging a career-best 9.7 points.

Due to a knee injury, Coffey has not appeared in a game since March 30. While he should play rotation minutes off the bench, the Clippers’ wing is unlikely to get the opportunities needed to impact active fantasy leagues.

Both wings will remain sidelined for another game, and there isn’t a clear timeline for when either will return. Derrick Jones Jr. will continue to take on a few extra minutes off the bench, but with Kawhi Leonard available, that isn’t a large enough role for him to provide value in standard-sized leagues.

Coffey played four minutes before exiting Sunday’s game with a sore left knee. The Clippers were already without Kawhi Leonard, so they’ll finish the game down two rotation wings. Bogdan Bogdanovic should log additional minutes for the Clippers, who visit the Magic on Monday.

Coffey may not be scalding hot, but he’s on a good run. He’s reached double figures in six of his last seven outings, averaging 14.0 points per game. Unfortunately, Coffey has provided minimal value outside of points and percentages during this run. For that reason, he has only offered 13th-round value in nine-cat formats. That should explain why Coffey remains rostered in just two percent of Yahoo! leagues.
