Champagnie was also questionable ahead of Tuesday’s loss to the Bulls, a game in which he played 29 minutes off the bench. If available, he’ll take on a similar role on Thursday. Jamir Watkins may take on additional minutes if Champagnie can’t play.

Champagnie could miss a second straight game, which would likely allow Julian Reese to get another start at center, with Anthony Gill playing the power forward minutes. Both players played over 40 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Nets.

Champagnie will sit after logging 21 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Heat. Leaky Black should figure prominently in the Wizards’ rotation, especially with Bilal Coulibaly and Tre Johnson also out.

Despite his right knee contusion, Champagnie played 21 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Heat, finishing with 12 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal. If he plays, there may be more minutes available, as starters Bilal Coulibaly and Tre Johnson are also questionable.

Due to a right knee contusion, Champagnie is a late addition to the Wizards’ injury report. If he can’t play, the impact of Champagnie’s absence would depend on the availability of Bilal Coulibaly, who is also questionable. Will Riley, who recently moved into the starting lineup, will have added importance if Champagnie and Coulibaly sit.

Champagnie’s offensive impact and production were among the few things that went right for the Wizards in Los Angeles. He shot that ball well in his time on the floor and finished second on the team in scoring. Additionally, Champagnie was one of two Wizards players to record a positive plus-minus. He’s performed fairly consistently throughout the year and has a chance to end his fifth NBA season with some momentum.

Champagnie and Riley will get the start as the Wizards deal with injuries on Monday. They will also face a short-handed Lakers team without Luka Dončić (suspension). Washington has lost two straight games and has one of the league’s worst records. Still, players such as Carrington and Johnson could be contributors for fantasy managers.

Champagnie got into it with Oklahoma City’s Jaylin Williams during the second quarter of Saturday’s game, sparking an altercation that led to those two being ejected, along with Oklahoma City’s Ajay Mitchell and Cason Wallace. Champagnie will serve his one-game suspension on Sunday, which could lead to Jamir Watkins moving into the starting lineup. Also, Washington’s Anthony Gill was fined $35,000 for his role in the fight.

Champagnie and Oklahoma City’s Jaylin Williams got into an altercation late in the second quarter, which would eventually involve players from both teams. In addition to those two, Oklahoma City’s Ajay Mitchell and Cason Wallace were ejected for escalating the altercation. With the action spilling into the stands, it’s possible that the NBA hands out a few suspensions in the coming days.

The Wizards will not have Tre Johnson for Saturday’s game, as he is out with a foot injury. Coulibaly replaces him in the lineup after a one-game absence, while Champagnie’s inclusion comes at Sharife Cooper’s expense.

Champagnie had to exit Friday’s win over the Pacers with a sore right knee, and he won’t play on Sunday. His absence opens a spot in the Wizards’ starting lineup, which could be filled by Kyshawn George, who is available to play.

Champagnie had to exit Friday’s win over the Pacers prematurely due to a sore right knee, playing 11 minutes. If he’s able to play, the way the Wizards have handled their rotation recently makes Champagnie a challenging player to trust in 12-team leagues.

Champagnie, who was inserted into the starting lineup for Friday’s game, was ruled out for the rest of the night toward the end of the third quarter. The Wizards’ forward finished with seven rebounds and one assist in 11 minutes, missing his lone shot attempt. Champagnie’s absence has led to more minutes for Alondes Williams.

The Wizards won’t have Kyshawn George for Friday’s game, as he’s out with a toe injury. Champagnie moves into the starting lineup, raising his ceiling and making him a player worth streaming. That’s the lone change to the starting five.

Champagnie has reached double figures in each of his last three appearances. While the playing time, 25 minutes on Sunday, wasn’t the best, he remains in the starting lineup. For that reason, Champagnie is worth the risk for managers seeking players with “silly season standout” potential. The Wizards only play one of their four Week 17 games before the All-Star break, on Wednesday against the Cavaliers, so there won’t be much to be gained from grabbing Champagnie off the waiver wire on Monday.

For fantasy managers with their eyes on Champagnie as a potential “silly season standout,” Saturday’s performance was a mixed bag. The overall stat line was nice, with one exception: playing time. On a day when the Wizards were without Bilal Coulibaly, Kyshawn George and Alex Sarr, Champagnie played 22 minutes. All three could be back for Sunday’s game against the Heat, so Saturday may represent a missed opportunity for Champagnie managers.

Khris Middleton missed Saturday’s game with a foot injury with Will Riley replacing him in the starting lineup. Champagnie outplayed Riley, though, and ended up playing more minutes off the bench. The 24-year-old shooting guard had a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds in 32 minutes. Champagnie has provided eighth-round per game value over the last two weeks, showing he has some fantasy value in the sixth man role with the Wizards.

While not as prolific as twin brother Julian was on New Year’s Eve against the Knicks, Champagnie gave the Wizards welcome scoring off the bench on Tuesday. His four three-pointers were a season-high, and the Wizards’ wing also offered solid production in the assist and steal categories. Champagnie’s fantasy ceiling hinges on the availability of other wings, most notably Kyshawn George and Corey Kispert. Both were out on Tuesday, resulting in more opportunities for Champagnie.

Champagnie came off the bench and had a team-high 20 points in the win over the Nets on Friday. The 24-year-old shooting guard hit a three-pointer in the third quarter and received a technical foul for his celebration, which drew the ire of the entire Nets bench. Otherwise, it was an uneventful 20-point blowout win. Champagnie has provided 10th-round per game value over the last two weeks.

Champagnie wasn’t the pick to fill in for the injured Kyshawn George on Sunday, as Tre Johnson received the starting nod, but that did not prevent him from providing value. Champagnie recorded his second double-double of the season and was an assist shy of a complete stat line. And a return to the starting lineup could be in the cards with the Wizards hosting the Suns on Monday. Khris Middleton (10/6/2/1/1) has not played both games of any back-to-backs this season, so he may be trending toward not playing. If he sits, Champagnie has a good chance of starting.

Champagnie is officially available after being listed as questionable earlier Friday. While Corey Kispert is out, the Wizards are otherwise relatively healthy on the wings, which limits Champagnie’s opportunities. There’s no need to roster him in most leagues.

Champagnie is a late addition to the injury report, and with Corey Kispert (hamstring) already ruled out, there will be extra minutes on the wing available. Tre Johnson should take on a larger reserve role, though Bilal Coulibaly and Khris Middleton should see a slight bump in minutes as well.

Champagnie pulled down 11 defensive rebounds to notch his first double-double of the young season. The 24-year-old guard has delivered fourth-round fantasy value over the past two weeks, averaging 10.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.2 blocks over his last six games dating back to the start of December. He’s a decent pickup for fantasy managers in deeper mixed leagues as he should continue to get opportunities for the rebuilding Wizards as they deal with a plethora of injuries to key contributors.

With Khris Middleton sidelined for the second night of Washington’s back-to-back, Champagnie was able to get the starting nod. In just 24 minutes, Champagnie was able to turn in a full stat line and was one of seven Wizards to score in double figures. Middleton should be back to take on Boston on Thursday, but Champagnie will be a decent streaming option if he gets the chance to start in the future.

With Kyshawn George being cleared to play, there’s just one change to the Wizards’ starting lineup. Khris Middleton (rest) is out and will be replaced in the starting lineup by Champagnie. Cam Whitmore should also get more time off the bench, but Champagnie’s ceiling is raised due to the opportunity to start.

George is back, but Khris Middleton is out, so those two wings will swap spots. The change is Champagnie replacing Bub Carrington, who will still play a large role off the bench. Johnson will get his second straight start after starting for the first time in his career on Friday.

Making his second consecutive start for the injured Khris Middleton (knee), Champagnie hit double figures for the first time this season. In fact, the 12 points scored on Wednesday were two more than Champagnie’s total entering the game. Even if Middeton remains out, there’s no need to entertain streaming Champagnie.

Champagnie gets the starting nod for the first time this season after not playing 10 minutes in a game yet this season. Bub Carrington, Tre Johnson, Corey Kispert and Cam Whitmore are also candidates to take on larger roles with Khris Middleton (elbow) sidelined.
