While Clifford has not missed any time, hamstring injuries can be tricky. As for Monk, he has missed the last four games, resulting in more playing time for Daeqwon Plowden. While he did exit Tuesday’s loss to the Spurs with a left leg injury, Plowden is not on the injury report for Thursday night.

While Clifford did not serve as the starting point guard on Wednesday, the absences of Russell Westbrook, Malik Monk and Devin Carter factored into the rookie’s playing time. He logged 41 minutes, finishing with a complete stat line. Killian Hayes (11/2/4 with one three-pointer) played 31 minutes as the starting point guard, but Clifford is due to be the Kings’ priority the rest of this season. Now is a good time to pick him up, especially with the Kings playing two more games in Week 20.

Clifford struggled from beyond the arc on Tuesday, missing all five of his attempts. The good news is that the rookie guard shot over 50 percent from two-point range, and he also provided solid production in rebounds, assists, and steals. Clifford played 39 minutes, an encouraging number, even if it may not be sustainable for the rest of the season. The key is that he’s getting a lot of playing time, which makes Clifford a more attractive option during the silly season.

With Zach LaVine done for the season and Keegan Murray currently out with a sprained ankle, Clifford should take on a more prominent role moving forward. He’s reached double figures in four straight games, with the 26 points being the most for the rookie since dropping a season-high 30 in a February 7 loss to the Cavaliers. A top-100 player over the past month, Clifford has silly season standout potential, especially with the Kings headed for the draft lottery. The Kings play three games in Week 19, starting with the Suns on Tuesday.

Clifford entered the starting lineup with Keegan Murray (ankle) sidelined for this game. Though it was a rough shooting night for the rookie, he was able to pour in the counting stats. With Sacramento currently holding the worst record in the league, Clifford should see plenty of minutes down the stretch of this season, which should lead to strong fantasy production.

While Clifford was not in the starting lineup on Wednesday, he did start the third quarter due to Keegan Murray aggravating his sprained left ankle. The first-round pick out of Colorado State played 28 minutes in Houston, and he may take on an enhanced role as soon as Thursday’s game in Dallas. If so, Clifford has the potential to join fellow rookie Maxime Rayanud (11 points, eight rebounds and two assists in 29 minutes) on the list of first-year players who can be serious factors in fantasy basketball during the silly season.

Clifford moved into the starting lineup with Zach LaVine (finger) and Malik Monk (illness) both out. The 23-year-old guard made the most of his opportunity with 30 points on 19 attempts in 40 minutes. Clifford can be used in deeper formats until the Kings are back to full strength.

Clifford was one of several Kings players to make an impact off the bench on Friday. He was productive in his 33 minutes, tallying a few stocks and finishing as one of Sacramento’s two-best scorers on the evening. Clifford’s production is largely a result of how little the starters played on Friday. Still, he was productive and has scored at least 14 points in three of his last four appearances.

The Kings remain without Russell Westbrook, who will miss a third straight game, and Domantas Sabonis was a late scratch. With Dennis Schröder traded to the Cavaliers, Clifford will serve as the starting point guard. And as was the case earlier this season when Sabonis missed time, Raynaud moves into the starting five.

A double-figure scorer in two straight and four of his last six appearances, Clifford recorded a season-high point total on Tuesday. And it’s worth noting that the rookie did not have to wait until “garbage time” to put up his points. Clifford shot 6-of-8 from the field in the first three quarters and finished a steal shy of a complete stat line. One solid performance does not make him a player worth adding, but Clifford is undoubtedly someone who would have added value if the Kings move some of their veterans before the February trade deadline.

With Zach LaVine (thumb) unavailable, Clifford made his third start and first since November 5. Unfortunately, things did not go well for the rookie first-round pick, as he missed all six of his three-point attempts. Even though he wasn’t the choice to step in for LaVine, Malik Monk (18/4/5/1 with three three-pointers) is the safer option for fantasy managers needing a streamer, even though he committed five turnovers. There will be better days for Clifford, but he isn’t ready to impact fantasy basketball at this point in his career.

As reported earlier Thursday, Clifford will move into the starting lineup due to Zach LaVine being out with a thumb injury. While he isn’t a must-add just yet, the rookie guard is worth tracking, especially in case the Kings manage to move one of their veterans ahead of the February trade deadline.

Clifford is averaging just under 15 minutes per game over his last five games, but he had 16 points, seven rebounds, and one steal in 32 minutes in the G-League on Tuesday and will now be back up with the Kings and in the starting lineup. We wouldn’t go ahead and run to add him yet, but it does make sense for the Kings to give their rookie more playing time in what’s looking to be a lost season.

The Kings won’t have Zach LaVine or Domantas Sabonis for Wednesday’s game, opening up two spots in the starting lineup. The voids will be filled by Clifford and Eubanks, with the latter being the more worthwhile streaming option. Malik Monk and Keon Ellis should also see their minutes increase despite coming off the bench.

Injured on Opening Night, Clifford made his return to action Saturday afternoon. The rookie only attempted one shot in his 16 minutes on the floor, and his fantasy value in the short term depends on his role. If Clifford returns to the starting lineup while the Kings await Keegan Murray’s return from thumb surgery, he’ll be worth a look in deep leagues. If head coach Doug Christie decides to stick with Russell Westbrook (12/5/10/2 in 33 minutes), who started the two games before Saturday, there won’t be much to gain from rostering Clifford in most leagues.

Clifford strained his right hamstring during the Kings’ season-opener and has not played since. The rookie was a starter on opening night, so he may return to that role once cleared, but only if Keegan Murray (thumb) is unavailable. Russell Westbrook has started Sacramento’s last two games but has not significantly impacted fantasy basketball.
