Connaughton is on track to play Wednesday night despite showing up in the injury report. His availability does not impact fantasy basketball, however, as he has not exceeded 14 minutes in any of his six appearances this season.

Connaughton exercised his $9.4 million player option for next season within the last two weeks. With the Bucks in a precarious position as far as the salary cap is concerned, Milwaukee is sending two future second-round picks in 2031 and 2032 to offload his contract. Connaughton will remain in a bench role with the Hornets and doesn’t figure to impact fantasy basketball much at all next year.

Connaughton’s player option was worth approximately $9.4 million, likely a higher price tag than what he would have commanded as an unrestricted free agent. Injuries limited the Bucks wing to 41 games this season, and he averaged 5.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 0.6 three-pointers in 14.7 minutes. Outside of his 43-point explosion in Milwaukee’s regular season finale, Connaughton did not impact fantasy basketball this season, and that’s unlikely to change in 2025-26.

Having been passed in the rotation by AJ Green (6/3/4 with two three-pointers in 19 minutes), one can argue that Connaughton desperately needed a day like Sunday, regardless of the strength of the two teams on the court. Not only did he establish a new career-high point total, but this was also his first game with at least 25 points. Connaughton shot over 50 percent from the field and was also productive in the rebound, assist and steals categories. His role in Milwaukee’s first-round series against the Pacers will likely be limited, but Sunday’s effort should boost Connaughton’s confidence.

Connaughton did not play in Sunday’s win over the Pelicans, but his absence did not impact fantasy basketball. Pete Nance played 14 minutes off the bench, but that had more to do with Giannis Antetokounmpo being out than Connaughton.

Connaughton has been downgraded to out for Sunday’s game, meaning the Bucks will have one less option off the bench. While his absence could result in Andre Jackson Jr. playing rotation minutes, there is little to gain from rostering the second-year wing out of UConn.

Connaughton was considered probable on the initial injury report, but his chances of playing have decreased. While the Bucks’ depth will take a hit if Connaughton cannot play, he does not impact fantasy basketball.

Connaughton has had a solid run since late March and it appears like injuries will help him return to the rotation consistently in April. He’s provided some decent scoring off the bench but doesn’t turn heads with his other stats.

After initially being listed as questionable, Connaughton will be available to play following a lengthy absence. However, he hasn’t played a significant role since November, and even when he has played big minutes, he hasn’t contributed much in the box score.

Connaughton has missed 10 of the last 11 games. The 32-year-old small forward is at the back of the Bucks’ rotation when healthy. His availability doesn’t significantly impact fantasy basketball either way.

The continued absences of Connaughton and Nance will not impact fantasy basketball. The former is on the back end if the Bucks’ rotation when healthy, while the latter is not.

Connaughton will miss a fifth straight game with a strained left calf. His availability has not significantly impacted fantasy basketball, as Connaughton has been behind Gary Trent Jr., Kevin Porter Jr. and AJ Green in the pecking order. As for Nance, he’s dealing with a sprained right ankle and has not been in the rotation when healthy.

Connaughton has missed Milwaukee’s last two games with a strained calf, and Thursday’s absence will push the unfortunate streak to three. His absence will not impact fantasy basketball, as the veteran wing has been on the back end of the Bucks’ rotation when healthy.
