Cissoko was also questionable ahead of Saturday’s loss to the Hornets, going on to play seven minutes off the bench. If cleared, his workload may not change much, so there’s no need to slot Cissoko into fantasy lineups.

Cissoko played all of the allowable games on his two-way deal, but he’ll get a standard deal to stay with the Blazers for two more years. Multiple injuries have given Cissoko the opportunity to play regular rotation minutes for Portland, and he’s done well with that opportunity.

The Trail Blazers won’t have Deni Avdija or Shaedon Sharpe for Saturday’s game, so Cissoko moves into the starting lineup. While not usually worth the risk as a deep-league streamer, this may be the night to gamble on Sidy, given how shorthanded the Grizzlies are.

Cissoko will get the start for Deni Avidja (back), who has been ruled out for the second game of a back-to-back. Without their best scorer, the Trail Blazers will rely on contributions from several players against the Raptors in order to obtain their fifth win in a row. Portland is currently in ninth place in the Western Conference standings.

While Cissoko has started Portland’s last seven games, that may change on Thursday. Deni Avdija, Jrue Holiday and Jerami Grant are all available, and either Holiday or Grant could join the starters. If so, Cissoko is the likely odd man out.

Cissoko has started Portland’s last seven games, but that could end on Thursday, even if he is available to play. Jrue Holiday (calf) and Jerami Grant (Achilles), who did not play in Sunday’s win over the Kings, are also probable, and Deni Avdija made his return to the lineup in Sacramento. Cissoko hasn’t been a consistently reliable fantasy option, and his prospects will take a hit with Holiday and Grant available.

Cissoko is in the starting lineup on Wednesday for the injured Kris Murray, who will miss Wednesday’s game due to a back injury. It’ll mark the third-year guard’s 13th start of the season for a Trail Blazers squad that is currently riding a three-game winning streak. Cissoko is coming off his sixth game of the season in which he scored in double figures; he’ll have a chance for a seventh against the Rockets.

Cissoko led all Trail Blazers in scoring despite logging just 27 minutes. The majority of his fantasy value on the night came as a three-point shooter, where he set a new season-high in makes. The third-year guard has consistently played a sizable role for this Blazers team of late. With Jrue Holiday and Scoot Henderson still out of the lineup due to injuries, there’s a chance Cissoko remains a starter moving forward.

The Trail Blazers don’t have Jerami Grant or Kris Murray for Monday’s game, leaving them to call on their third option at the power forward position. Cissoko moves into the starting lineup, and he is only worth streaming in deep leagues.

For the first time since November 19, Cissoko was used in a reserve role, with Shaedon Sharpe reclaiming his place in the starting lineup. However, this did not negatively affect Cissoko’s opportunities, as he played 32 minutes. And the former second-round pick had the best night of his NBA career, recording his first 20-point game. Cissoko still isn’t at the point where he should be rostered in most fantasy leagues. However, he will get his opportunities while the Blazers await the returns of players such as Jrue Holiday, Matisse Thybulle and Scoot Henderson.

Grant, who did not play in Tuesday’s loss to the Suns, is back and will start due to Shaedon Sharpe (calf) being out. The other change is Cissoko, who replaces Kris Murray. While Murray will still play rotation minutes, his already-low fantasy value takes a hit with the lineup change. Cissoko may be able to provide some defensive stats, but he also has a low fantasy ceiling.

Cissoko is on a two-way contract, so his fantasy value for the 2025-26 season is virtually non-existent. However, players on those deals can earn opportunities throughout the season. Cissoko, who was traded twice before the February deadline, played well against the Grizzlies, but he’ll have to do a lot to crack a deep forward rotation in Portland.

Cissoko is available to play on Sunday, giving the Blazers another option on the wing. With Deni Avdija and Jerami Grant among the absentees, rotation minutes may be available for Cissoko, but he should not be streamed in fantasy leagues.

Cissoko’s continued absence does not impact fantasy basketball, as he is not in the Trail Blazers’ rotation when he is healthy.
