While Ellis and Schröder were active for Friday’s loss to the Hawks, Bryant has missed Cleveland’s last three games with a strained calf. On the perimeter, Craig Porter Jr. and Tyrese Proctor should play significant minutes, while Olivier Sarr and Tristan Enaruna should pick up rotation minutes in the frontcourt.

Ellis got a second straight start, and he was even better in this one. He set a new career high for assists and still knocked down three triples for a second straight game. Ellis won’t start when this team is healthy, but it is clear that he was a vital acquisition at the trade deadline and will continue to be an important piece for Cleveland entering the playoffs. Despite being productive when he was given the chance, Ellis wasn’t able to carve out a permanent starting role for Sacramento. He’s enjoyed plenty of success as a part-time starter for the Cavs.

The Cavaliers are without Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen for Sunday’s game, opening up two spots in the starting lineup. They’ve been replaced by Ellis and Bryant, who are worth streaming in deep leagues due to the matchup.

With Jarrett Allen (knee) unavailable, Ellis moved into the Cavaliers’ starting lineup on Monday. The production was adequate, as he logged 32 minutes and recorded a complete stat line. With Allen and Max Strus both expected to be available for Tuesday’s game against the Lakers, there isn’t much to gain from holding onto Ellis in most leagues.

The Cavaliers won’t have Jarrett Allen for Monday’s game, as it’s the first of two in as many nights. Ellis moves into the starting lineup, and he’s worth a look in deep leagues due to the matchup.

The Cavaliers won’t have Sam Merrill for Friday’s game, as he has been ruled out due to hamstring tightness. Ellis will move into the starting lineup, giving his short-term fantasy value a boost. Jaylon Tyson’s playing time may increase, but he misses out on the fantasy value increase that would have come if he were allowed to start.

Ellis entered Monday’s game having totaled 11 points on 4-of-11 shooting in his previous three appearances. The Cavaliers guard had his most productive night since joining the team via trade, with the 19 points being the most in a game for Ellis since a 21-point effort against the Mavericks as a member of the Kings. While Monday’s performance was excellent, Ellis is more valuable to the Cavaliers than to fantasy managers given his current role.

Ellis is back after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Pistons, which will give the Cavaliers additional depth off the bench. With James Harden also available, Tyrese Proctor is likely to lose out on playing time.

Ellis did not play in Friday’s loss to the Pistons, with Craig Porter Jr. and Tyrese Proctor picking up additional minutes off the bench. Whether either of those players would be worth the streaming risk also depends on the availability of James Harden, who is questionable with a fractured right thumb.

Ellis’ fractured left index finger will keep him out of Friday’s game, freeing up minutes on the back end of the Cavaliers’ rotation. Nae’Qwan Tomlin may be the player who benefits most, with Craig Porter Jr. slotting in as Dennis Schröder’s backup.

Ellis is dealing with a fractured left index finger, which he suffered at some point in Wednesday’s loss to the Bucks. While his potential absence would not significantly affect fantasy basketball, it would free up rotation minutes for Nae’Qwon Tomlin.

While Ellis did play 20 minutes or more in each of his final four appearances with the Kings, he was not a consistent member of Doug Christie’s rotation. That may not be an issue in Cleveland, given the Cavaliers’ need for another defensive-minded guard. Ellis only recorded one steal on Thursday, and he’ll have limited fantasy upside in his new home. However, consistent playing time should not be a major issue, which is key for a player who will be an unrestricted free agent in the summer.

The Bulls were also involved in Saturday’s trade, acquiring Dario Sarić and two future second-round picks. As for Ellis, his time in Sacramento comes to a merciful end, as earning consistent rotation minutes became increasingly difficult under head coach Doug Christie. While his offensive production has been limited, adding Ellis to the fold gives the Cavaliers another capable perimeter defender.

Ellis has missed the Kings’ last two games with a knee injury, but he’ll return to take on Miami. However, prior to this two-game absence, Ellis averaged under eight minutes per game. He’ll be available, but there is no guarantee he plays enough to be worth streaming.

Ellis will sit out again after missing Friday’s matchup with Washington. His absence could mean a few more minutes for Malik Monk.

Ellis was added to the injury report Friday afternoon as questionable with a knee injury and was subsequently ruled out for the matchup with the Wizards. Malik Monk could see more minutes with Ellis sidelined, but otherwise the Kings rotation won’t be impacted.

Ellis is a late addition to the injury report. However, it shouldn’t impact the Kings’ rotation much if he isn’t able to suit up; over their last three games, he’s averaged under eight minutes per game. Malik Monk may see a few extra minutes if Ellis is unavailable.

After starting Sacramento’s last 11 games, Precious Achiuwa has been moved to the bench. He’s been replaced in the lineup by Ellis, who should get the minutes needed to achieve fantasy relevance. Whether he starts or comes off the bench, there’s no need to roster Achiuwa in most fantasy leagues.

Ellis exited early on Sunday due to a left thumb injury, but that won’t keep him out of the lineup against Dallas. He had been playing a large reserve role for Sacramento lately and should return to that after playing just five minutes before exiting against the Bucks.

Ellis played five minutes before exiting with a left thumb injury, and he has been ruled out for the rest of the night. With Keegan Murray (ankle) also leaving Sunday’s game due to injury, the Kings have relied mainly on a seven-man rotation. Malik Monk has not played, which doesn’t bode well for his chances of becoming fantasy-relevant if Ellis and Murray miss time.

After three games in which he was on the outskirts of the Kings’ rotation, Ellis found himself in the starting lineup on Saturday. And as the saying goes, “stay ready so you don’t have to get ready.” The Kings’ guard shot 5-of-10 from beyond the arc and scored a season-high 21 points. Add in the defensive stats, and this was an excellent night for Ellis. While head coach Doug Christie has not hesitated to make changes to his lineups, one would think that Ellis did enough to hold onto his job for Sunday’s game against the Lakers. He’s worth the streaming risk in deep leagues, especially when considering how bad the Lakers have been defensively.

Already without Zach LaVine, the Kings won’t have Keegan Murray for Saturday’s game, either. As a result, Ellis enters the starting lineup, which raises his fantasy ceiling. While most valuable for what he can do defensively, Ellis will have more opportunities to contribute offensively. Some fantasy managers will also hope that this means Malik Monk will take on a more prominent role off the bench.

Ellis will play after initially being listed as questionable with a sore right wrist. With Dennis Schröder also available after missing time with a hip injury, there may not be as many minutes available to Ellis. He should not be rostered in most fantasy leagues.

The right-handed Ellis is dealing with a sore right wrist, hence his inclusion on the Kings’ injury report. The good news for Sacramento is that Zach LaVine (thumb) is off the injury report, so he would absorb most of the minutes that would go to Ellis. However, Ellis’ absence would also preserve some of Nique Clifford’s minutes after he started for LaVine on Thursday.

With Malik Monk unavailable to play (ankle), Ellis saw additional opportunities in the blowout loss on Wednesday. All but two of his points came from behind the three-point line before he finished with a new season-high in points. Ellis used active hands to land a pair of steals, but otherwise, he didn’t find much production elsewhere. He may have another chance to produce and log heavy minutes, depending on Monk’s status for Friday’s game against the Timberwolves.

Ellis came off the bench in the Kings’ loss to the Thunder on Tuesday. The 25-year-old shooting guard had 12 points and two made three-pointers in 27 minutes. Ellis is more of a deep league fantasy play in a somewhat crowded backcourt with Russell Westbrook and Dennis Schröder.

Ellis is the lone change to the Kings’ starting lineup. He replaces Isaac Jones in a smaller lineup. He’ll likely take on the unenviable task of defending James Harden, which allows Schröder to shift onto Bogdan Bogdanovic. Ellis is a solid deep-league option, especially as the Kings await Keegan Murray’s return from a wrist injury.

With Malik Monk (illness) out for the second straight game, Ellis was Sacramento’s best option off the bench Friday night. And he put on a show from deep, shooting 6-of-9 while finishing a blocked shot shy of a complete line. Even if Monk is back for Wednesday’s regular-season opener, Ellis’ defensive ability should get him more playing time with Keegan Murray (thumb) unavailable. Fantasy managers considering selecting Ellis with a late-round pick should do so with the understanding that nights like Friday have not been the norm for him offensively. Especially with DeMar DeRozan and Domantas Sabonis among the starters, as neither played on Friday.

Ellis’ 2024-25 season ended with a whimper, as he provided limited value as the Kings’ fifth starter. He played 80 games this season, providing slightly higher fantasy value in his 28 starts. In those outings, Ellis averaged 9.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.1 steals, 0.9 blocks and 2.0 three-pointers in 31.1 minutes. Regarding playing time, he benefited from the decision to trade De’Aaron Fox. However, Sacramento must address the point guard position this offseason, which would limit Ellis’ fantasy value in 2025-26.
