Grant is set to miss his third game in a row with a calf injury and there’s still no timeline for his return. Scoot Henderson started and had 21 points and seven assists in Sunday’s win over the Wizards. He’ll continue to start as long as Grant is sidelined.

The Trail Blazers still have not revealed a return timeline for Grant, but he will miss a second consecutive game on Tuesday. Scoot Henderson moved into the starting lineup for Sunday’s win over the Wizards and played well, finishing with 21 points and seven assists. Fantasy managers and the Trail Blazers will hope for similar output on Tuesday.

While Krejčí remaining out with a left calf contusion does not affect fantasy basketball, Grant’s calf strain does. His absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup, with Sidy Cissoko and Kris Murray being potential replacements. Also, no Grant means that the Trail Blazers will need more consistent production from Scoot Henderson off the bench.

Grant injured his right calf during the second half of Friday’s defeat, and there is some concern that he’ll miss time. Following the game, acting head coach Thiago Splitter said Grant felt a pop in his calf. He’ll be evaluated further on Saturday, and Sunday’s game against the Wizards could be off the board for Grant, at a minimum. If he misses time, Scoot Henderson (9/2/3/3 with one three-pointer) would have added importance to the Trail Blazers, even if he continues to come off the bench.

Back in the lineup after sitting out the last two games, Grant shot 4-of-10 from beyond the arc in 24 minutes. The veteran forward did not offer much outside of the points and three-pointers, but he has provided ninth-round value in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break. Games against the Mavericks and Wizards to end Week 22 will give Grant two more opportunities against lottery-bound teams to put up numbers that will benefit fantasy managers.

Grant is back in the starting lineup on Wednesday after missing the Blazers’ loss to the Nuggets. The veteran has spent time as both a starter and reserve throughout the season, averaging 18.6 points over 55 games. His production could be important as Portland battles for seeding down the stretch of the season.

Grant is set to return after a two-game absence due to left foot soreness. Sidy Cissoko will return to the bench with Grant back in the starting lineup. In his most recent game action, Grant had 26 points in a win over the Timberwolves last Friday.

Grant has missed Portland’s last two games and could remain sidelined for a third straight. Sidy Cissoko should start again if Grant remains out, though he was unproductive in 28 minutes on Monday.

Grant and Krejčí will remain out for another game, with the former’s absence likely resulting in another spot start for Sidy Cissoko. However, Cissoko played 19 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Nuggets, with Matisse Thybulle playing 25 off the bench.

Grant’s absence is far more consequential for the Trail Blazers and fantasy managers, as he has been a fixture in the starting lineup. Kris Murray has been the fill-in in the past, and that may also be the case on Sunday. That said, he offers limited streaming value in that role. As for Krejčí, his playing time began to decrease even before the calf injury.

While Grant is coming off a 26-point effort in Friday’s win over the Timberwolves, Krejčí has missed the Trail Blazers’ last three games. His role diminished before the calf strain, so Krejčí’s availability for Sunday won’t affect fantasy basketball. As for Grant, his not playing could open the door for Kris Murray to make a spot start.

After scoring 12 points in the first half of Friday’s victory, he was two points better in the second half as the Trail Blazers withstood a Minnesota rally. Having totaled 20 points on 8-of-20 shooting in his prior two appearances, the veteran forward needed a night like Friday. And the Trail Blazers will need more production from Grant moving forward, starting with Sunday’s game against the Nuggets.

While Grant provided excellent value in points and three-pointers, the overall stat line was along what many fantasy managers have grown accustomed to getting from him in recent years. Since the All-Star break, he has averaged 1.7 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.4 blocks per game, limiting Grant’s fantasy upside. The Trail Blazers play four games in Week 21, starting with the Nets on Monday.

Grant may not have done much in the rebound category, an unsurprising development for him, but he compensated for that with excellent production in other areas. The veteran forward has now scored at least 21 points in three straight and seven of his last eight games. Add in the three-pointers, steals and blocked shots, and Sunday was an excellent night to have Grant in fantasy lineups.

Limited to four points on 1-of-9 shooting in Sunday’s loss to the Hawks, Grant rebounded in a big way on Wednesday. Shooting well over 50 percent from the field, he recorded his fourth 30-point game of the season and first since December 14. Fantasy managers also received solid value in the rebound and assist categories, which don’t always happen for Grant.

As was the case in Tuesday’s loss to the Timberwolves, Grant made a living at the foul line on Thursday. He made 12 of his 14 attempts, and the 27 points scored were the most in a game for the Trail Blazers’ forward since a 29-point effort against the Grizzlies on February 7. Portland was without Donovan Clingan on Thursday, shifting Grant to the starting center role. That may have factored into him grabbing five rebounds, a number he’s reached in consecutive games for the first time this season. Portland ends its Week 18 with games on Saturday (at Charlotte) and Sunday (at Atlanta).

With Shaedon Sharpe (calf) still out, Grant has seen an uptick in usage. The 31-year-old small forward had his fourth game with at least 20 points this month. It hasn’t translated into much fantasy production, though, as Grant is outside of the top-150 in per game value over the last two weeks, according to Basketball Monster.

Grant put on a show on Saturday, shooting 6-of-10 from beyond the arc. He’s scored at least 23 points in three consecutive games, and the 29 recorded against the Grizzlies were the most in a game for the veteran forward since putting up 35 in a December 14 win over the Warriors. While the rebounding and defensive output limit his fantasy ceiling, Grant is worth rostering for those seeking points and three-pointers.

Grant got the start for the injured Deni Avdija (back) and didn’t disappoint. In 28 minutes, the veteran forward scored well both in and outside the arc, ultimately finishing as Portland’s leading scorer on the evening. Since his January return, he’s scored at least 15 points in six of his nine appearances. Grant doesn’t offer much value in other fantasy basketball categories. But for those fantasy managers in need of points and three-pointers, he’s a fine streaming option.

For category league managers, Grant’s final stat line wasn’t the best because of the lack of rebounds and defensive stats. However, by this point in his career, more experienced managers know what they’re getting out of the veteran forward. In eight-cat formats, Grant has been ranked outside the top-250 over the past two weeks, according to Basketball Monster. The Trail Blazers have two more games in Week 16, games against the Grizzlies on Friday and Saturday.

The Trail Blazers are without Jrue Holiday and Deni Avdija for Sunday’s game, opening up two spots in the starting lineup. The resulting voids will be filled by Cissoko and Grant, with the latter being the superior option for fantasy managers.

Grant’s point total was boosted by a 10-of-15 night at the foul line, with the 15 attempts being the most in a game for him since he put up 19 in a November 24 win over the Bucks. However, after an excellent start to the season, Grant’s fantasy value has slipped since he returned from an Achilles injury that sidelined him for 14 games. The Trail Blazers’ forward is ranked outside the top-200 in eight- and nine-cat formats since returning on January 15. Like Jrue Holiday, Grant’s minutes are being restricted, but he has logged 27 minutes in each of his last two appearances.

Shortly after being upgraded to probable, Grant has now been cleared to play against Miami. This is the first night of a back-to-back, so he will likely sit out against Toronto on Friday, but for this game, Sidy Cissoko and Rayan Rupert will lose out on some minutes.

Grant was initially listed as questionable, but he is now expected to play on the first night of this back-to-back. His return should take away minutes from Sidy Cissoko and Rayan Rupert, though Grant will likely be ruled out against Toronto on Friday for the second night of the back-to-back.

Grant will not play after logging 22 minutes off thebench in Saturday’s win over the Lakers. His absence will likely mean more minutes for Sidy Cissoko and Rayan Rupert, with the former having recently been part of the starting lineup.

Grant and Holiday have only recently returned after extended absences due to injury, and both played in Saturday’s win over the Lakers. Deni Avdija (back) potentially returning would help with the depth, and Sidy Cissoko, Caleb Love and Rayan Rupert should play plenty regardless of what happens with Portland’s leading scorer.

In his second game on the floor after missing nearly a month with a hamstring injury, Grant was highly efficient scoring-wise. He scored 22 points in as many minutes on solid percentages from the field and the foul line. Grant’s playing time will be limited for the foreseeable future due to injury management, and there’s no guarantee he plays in Sacramento on Sunday. Consider Grant to be questionable.

Upgraded from questionable to probable earlier Saturday, Grant is good to go. He came off the bench in his first game back from an Achilles injury, resulting in Sidy Cissoko remaining in the starting lineup. Look for that to be the case again on Saturday since Grant is under a minutes restriction.

Initially questionable for Saturday’s game, Grant is trending toward being available. If he plays against the Lakers, fantasy managers should operate under the assumption that the Trail Blazers’ forward won’t be available for Sunday’s game against the Kings. Rayan Rupert will miss out on a boost to his playing time if Grant plays Saturday night.
