Yet to appear in a game this season, George will not play in Saturday’s game against the Raptors. Philadelphia also plays the Pistons on Sunday, so there’s a slight chance George returns then. Jabari Walker has been the most recent starter at the four and should retain that role until George is healthy enough to play.

George isn’t ready to make his season debut yet. Jabari Walker should remain in the starting unit, with Kelly Oubre and Quentin Grimes taking on extra minutes and shot attempts with George unavailable. It’s unclear exactly when George will be back.

George has yet to make his season debut as he recovers from an offseason procedure on his knee. Jabari Walker and Justin Edwards have received opportunities to start in George’s absence, but neither has done enough to be relied on in most fantasy leagues.

George has been doing more in practice recently but still has not reached the point where he can play in games. The 76ers will continue to call on players such as Jabari Walker and Justin Edwards to fill the void while they await PG’s return. Neither Walker nor Edwards merits serious streaming consideration.

Podcast P will miss a fourth straight game to open the 2025-26 campaign, and it’s unclear when he’ll get back on the court. Until he does, guys like Jabari Walker and Justin Edwards should see more run, but neither of those players is worth a look outside the deepest of leagues.

George has been able to do more in practice recently, but has yet to reach the point where he can return to game action. With Dominick Barlow (elbow) also out, the 76ers may have to call on Jabari Walker to start at the four. Given the lack of options at Nick Nurse’s disposal, Walker will be worth a look in extremely deep leagues. However, he is not a must-add on an 11-game night.

George will remain out for a second straight game to start the season. He was a full participant in practice on Sunday, which implies he isn’t far away from returning to the floor. Dominick Barlow should get another start after contributing 13 points, eight rebounds, five assists and a block in 34 minutes against the Celtics.

While George fully participated in Sunday’s practice, he has not reached the point where he’s healthy enough to play. Fantasy managers should expect George’s minutes to be managed once he’s cleared to return. In the meantime, Kelly Oubre, VJ Edgecombe and Quentin Grimes should see their minutes increase, and Adem Bona could potentially start alongside Joel Embiid.

Embiid looks ready to play in the 76ers’ season opener, but fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status. It’s unclear, however, when Paul George will be available. Until he returns, more playing time will be available for Kelly Oubre, Quentin Grimes and VJ Edgecombe.

George described his first season in Philadelphia as “rock bottom,” and it’s easy to see why. Injuries limited him to 41 games, and the 76ers wing underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee mid-July. While he feels better now than last season, George does not have a firm return-to-play timeline. When the 76ers open training camp on Saturday, he will not be able to go through full-contact activities. With Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey working their way back from season-ending injuries and Jared McCain (thumb) currently out, the 76ers are the ultimate wild card in the Eastern Conference. The uncertainty surrounding George will impact his placement in fantasy drafts, potentially making him a bargain if he can stay on the court this season.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, George injured his knee during a recent workout. The 76ers wing only appeared in 41 games in his debut season with the team, as groin and knee injuries sidelined him for good in March. George initially hyperextended his left knee during the preseason, and it remained an issue throughout the year. With Joel Embiid also recovering from offseason knee surgery, the 76ers could be without two of their stars when training camp opens in September.

According to Charania, George received injections in his left adductor muscle and left knee on Monday. As a result, he will not play again this season, with the 76ers wing expected to be sidelined for at least six weeks. Expected to be part of a “big three” with Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey that would make the 76ers a title contender, George struggled to stay healthy. A hyperextended knee suffered during the preseason was the beginning of a challenging season for George, who many expected to be a third-round player in fantasy basketball. Justin Edwards should play plenty as the regular season approaches its conclusion and is worth streaming in deep leagues.

Friday’s game against the Pacers will be the fifth game George has missed due to lingering groin and knee injuries. Based on Nurse’s comments, the 76ers wing will also likely miss Sunday’s game against the Mavericks. If George is ruled out for the rest of the season, players like Kelly Oubre Jr., Quentin Grimes (who’s out on Friday with an illness) and Justin Edwards will have added value during the “silly season.”

George has missed four straight games and five of Philly’s last six, and he’s only appeared in 41 games for the Sixers this season. It’s been a disappointing campaign for George, and with Philly’s playoff hopes essentially sunk, he could be shut down for the remainder of the 2024-25 season. Quentin Grimes has been balling, and Grimes should continue to see plenty of run and offensive usage moving forward.

George is receiving treatment and continuing to consult with physicians. Monday will be his third-straight missed game and he’s set to miss Wednesday’s game against the Raptors. The 34-year-old small forward will be re-evaluated Friday, which would be the earliest he could return now. Justin Edwards will likely continue to start with George sidelined.

George played 30 minutes in Tuesday’s loss to the Timberwolves but struggled, and the groin injury has concerned the 76ers for a few games. Justin Edwards, who started for George on Monday, is the likely replacement in the starting lineup. However, he is questionable for Thursday’s game with an ankle injury, so Lonnie Walker IV is another possibility to fill the void.

George missed Monday’s game with a groin injury, but was back on the floor Tuesday against the Timberwolves. The 34-year-old small forward struggled with just seven points on 11 shots in 30 minutes. 76ers head coach Nick Nurse said the team was concerned about George’s injury following Tuesday’s game. Given the questionable listing, there’s certainly a real chance of George missing Thursday’s game. Justin Edwards is also questionable, but could move into the starting lineup if he’s available and George isn’t.

George’s performance on Tuesday was concerning enough, but Nick Nurse’s quote after the game should put managers on high alert. When asked about George’s groin injury, which kept him on the sidelines against Portland on Monday, Nurse said “we’re certainly concerned.” It wouldn’t be surprising if George was held out against Boston on Thursday, and his status for the rest of the season should be in question. Philadelphia’s pick is top-six protected, meaning they need to lose as much as possible to ensure they get their first-round pick. George should be considered a shutdown candidate at this point.

George missed Monday’s game against the Trail Blazers with a sore left groin. The 34-year-old small forward is dealing with the same injury ahead of Tuesday’s game. If George is out again, expect Justin Edwards to move into the starting lineup, though he is also questionable with an ankle injury.

George is officially out with a sore left groin. Due to the 76ers’ many absences, rookie Justin Edwards will likely move into the starting lineup. While a risky streaming play, he’s worth a roll of the dice due to the state of the 76ers’ rotation.

George has put his podcast on hiatus, but he can’t stop picking up new injuries this year. The two-way wing is a plausible shutdown candidate if the 76ers decide to punt on the rest of the season. Justin Edwards could draw a spot start if George misses his first game in March.

George announced earlier Wednesday that he would put his podcast on hiatus to focus on getting the 76ers back on track, but that wasn’t enough to keep the team from losing a ninth straight game. However, George’s stat line against the Knicks was solid by fantasy standards, as he shot 45 percent from the field and finished one blocked shot shy of a complete line. Over the past two weeks, George has provided third-round value in eight-cat formats. However, he and the 76ers face a challenging climb for the rest of the season, especially if Joel Embiid (knee) cannot return anytime soon.
