Finishing with his fourth double-double of the season, Gobert had one of his best performances of the season on Sunday. Not only did he shoot 90 percent from the field, but the Timberwolves center recorded a season-high five blocked shots. Thus far, Gobert’s fantasy value has been underwhelming, mainly because he’s averaging 9.9 rebounds per game. While that isn’t a “bad” number, he averaged at least 10.9 boards in seven straight and nine of his previous 10 seasons. Being more active on the glass will go a long way toward getting Gobert’s fantasy value back to where many expect it to be.

Gobert didn’t miss a shot from the field on Monday, recording his third double-double of the season. The 15 points were a new season-high for the “Stifle Tower,” whose fantasy value placed him outside the top-100 in nine-cat formats. While Gobert’s fantasy ceiling has lowered, he’s still a valuable option for managers needing a high field-goal percentage, rebounds and blocked shots.

Gobert did most of his damage down the home stretch as he took advantage of Charlotte’s lack of an interior presence outside of rookie center Ryan Kalkbrenner, recording his second double-double of the season. He’s unlikely to add much from a scoring standpoint, but he’s a reliable rebounder and is averaging nearly two blocks per-game this season. The five assists were certainly a nice bonus in this one.

While the rebounding between the two teams overall was about even, the Pacers’ skeleton crew of 10 active players were no match for Gobert on the boards. The 33-year-old center’s 19 rebounds included four offensive rebounds against Indiana’s frontline. Gobert didn’t contribute much else for fantasy purposes besides two blocks, but being a big plus in the rebound category will help absorb the poor free-throw shooting.

Gobert logged 26 minutes on Thursday and flirted with a double-double. The veteran big man was unusually inaccurate from the free-throw line, but his seven field goals helped him conclude as one of three starters to reach double figures in scoring. Gobert collected a few stocks against the Bulls as well, which is unsurprising for a former DPOY. The Timberwolves will have a similar frontcourt rotation this regular season, which should lead to similar production from the decorated center.

Outside of Game 4, Gobert had little impact on the action in the Western Conference Finals. He made his only shot attempt in Game 5 but only played 19 minutes, as Timberwolves coach Chris Finch searched furiously for answers in a game that got away from his team early. While fantasy managers hoped Karl-Anthony Towns’ departure would boost Gobert’s fantasy value, things did not work out that way. Boasting a Yahoo! ADP of 47, he finished outside the top-75 in eight-cat formats and outside the top-60 in nine-cat. Gobert is approaching the point in his career when he should not be a top-50 selection in standard leagues.

Lakers head coach JJ Redick bumped Jaxson Hayes from the starting unit and out of the rotation, which allowed Gobert to control the paint in this game from start to finish. He set new playoff career-highs for both points and rebounds to help Minnesota advance to the next round. Entering this game, Gobert had a total of 14 points and 25 rebounds during this series. Clearly, Game 5 was a huge step in the right direction for him, and he will look to carry this into the conference semifinals, where they will await the winner of the Rockets-Warriors series.

Gobert wasn’t able to provide a true encore to his 35-point performance on Friday, but he was able to turn in another double-double. The final few weeks entering the postseason have been excellent for Gobert; this was his fifth game with at least 15 rebounds in his last 10 appearances. This may not have been Gobert’s most productive regular season, but he’s getting hot at the right time. Minnesota will have a week off before they travel for Game 1 of their first-round matchup.

With Anthony Edwards struggling offensively, the Timberwolves needed others to step up on Friday. Gobert answered the call, recording a season-high point total and his 35th double-double. He’s scored at least 19 points in five of his last seven outings, providing third-round value in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. Minnesota needs to win Sunday’s game against the Jazz, and they’re unlikely to have Edwards due to technical foul accumulation. That matchup should be excellent for Gobert due to Utah’s lack of interior depth.

Anthony Edwards wasn’t the only Timberwolves scorer taking advantage of frequent mismatches as the 76ers didn’t have an answer for Gobert, either. The veteran center recorded another elite stat line, eclipsing 21 points and 18 rebounds for the second straight games. The “Stifle Tower” also recorded five “stocks.” Over the past two weeks, Gobert has provided top-20 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats. Gobert managers whose leagues are not finished are likely happy that he’ll have four games to play during Week 23.

Gobert is averaging just 11 points per game this season but quietly has scored at least 15 points in six consecutive games and at least 19 points in three straight games. The 32-year-old center also pulled down 18 rebounds as he dominated the glass against the Nets Thursday. Gobert has seen an uptick in production and provided third-round fantasy value over the last two weeks.

Gobert was on a mission Sunday night, as the 25 rebounds were the most he’s had in a game this season and three shy of his career-high. The Timberwolves center was also effective as a scorer, shooting 50 percent from the field and 75 percent from the foul line. Over the past two weeks, Gobert has offered third-round value in nine-cat formats, which is excellent production for someone who has been a top 75 player this season. Gobert will face a more challenging test on Tuesday when the Timberwolves visit Denver, the first of three games Minnesota plays during Week 22.

This was the second-straight double-double for Gobert, though it was on pace to be a much bigger night. He had eight points and 13 rebounds in the first half, but he wasn’t able to add much to his rebounding total after the break. This was also the second-straight game that Gobert didn’t record a block, which makes this the first time this season that he went consecutive games without swatting a shot. That isn’t typical for Gobert, and he’ll look to bounce back against the Suns on Friday.

Gobert only took five shots from the field, but he was able to get to the foul line and make 7-of-8 free throw attempts. The 32-year-old center also pulled down 11 rebounds, earned a double-double and had three steals on the defensive end. Gobert still played 30 minutes despite Minnesota running away with a 41-point victory, a sign he’s feeling much better after dealing with a back injury earlier this month.

Gobert and Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard were ejected after getting into an altercation early in the third quarter. After Nembhard inadvertently hit Mike Conley in the face with an elbow, his drive to the basket was interrupted by a Gobert forearm. With the Pacers guard then throwing the ball at Gobert, both players were ejected. Rudy finished with three points, six rebounds, one assist and three blocks in 22 minutes. His exit means even more playing time for Naz Reid.

Gobert returned from a 10-game absence due to a back injury Sunday against the Spurs. The 32-year-old center played 30 minutes against the Nuggets Wednesday and was able to put up a double-double. It appears Gobert is close to playing without limitations at this point.

Gobert made his return from a 10-game absence on Sunday and was productive in 20 minutes. He’s likely on the injury report simply because he is still managing the injury, but if he ends up missing this game, Naz Reid should return to the starting lineup.

Gobert returned to the Timberwolves’ lineup after a 10-game absence, and, as expected, the veteran center was under a minutes restriction. The 7-foot-1 pivot only playing 20 minutes was good news for Naz Reid managers, as he tallied 20 points, seven rebounds, four assists, two blocks and four three-pointers in 27 minutes off the bench. Reid’s fantasy value will be fine, especially if the Timberwolves are conservative with Gobert’s playing time.

Gobert is back in the lineup after missing 10 games with a back injury. His return means Naz Reid will head to the bench, where his fantasy value takes a hit. However, Reid will continue to provide solid value; it’s just that his ceiling is lower. The other four starters are unchanged.

Gobert has missed 10 straight games, but he’s got a chance to return against San Antonio. Luka Garza (ankle) is questionable too, but even if he’s available, Garza is unlikely to see any meaningful playing time. If Gobert is unable to play, Naz Reid should continue filling in for him down low.

Gobert hasn’t played since before the All-Star break and that won’t change Friday as he’s been ruled out with a back injury. Naz Reid will continue to start in his place and be the primary beneficiary of Gobert’s absence.

Gobert hasn’t played since before the All-Star break, which has allowed Naz Reid to thrive as part of the starting lineup. If Gobert returns, Reid will likely return to playing his typical significant role off the bench, though it is unlikely that he matches his production from the past few weeks.

Gobert will miss his ninth consecutive game while Conley will get a breather after appearing in eight straight contests. Naz Reid will likely continue starting for Gobert and Nickeil Alexander-Walker could step in for Conley.

Gobert will miss an eighth straight game for lower back injury management reasons. Naz Reid will continue to serve as the starting center, which boosts his fantasy value. The Timberwolves went small in Sunday’s win over the Suns when Reid was not in the game, as Julius Randle was available after missing time with a strained groin.

Sunday’s game will be Gobert’s seventh straight missed game. The Timberwolves label the injury “low back injury maintenance.” Naz Reid will continue to serve as the starting center, and Luka Garza will play rotation minutes off the bench. Garza isn’t worth streaming, especially with Julius Randle potentially returning from a strained groin.

While Gobert was present for Wednesday’s practice, he did not participate; he only received treatment for his lower back. Randle was not with the team for the session and will not play on Thursday. Naz Reid will remain in the starting lineup. Due to his defensive ability, rookie Jaylen Clark will likely be a starter as well.

Gobert, who has missed the last four games with lower back spasms, only received treatment during Timberwolves’ practice. As for Randle, who has missed the last seven games with a strained groin, he was not with the team for the session. Neither player appears on track to return for Thursday’s game against the Lakers, meaning Naz Reid will remain in the starting lineup. Jaylen Clark has started the last two games, and the need to match up with Luka Doncic and LeBron James may keep him in that role.
