Gibson finished last season with the Hornets, starting 11 of the 37 games that he appeared in. He’s back in the NBA for a 17th season, joining the Grizzlies for the rest of the season. Due to Memphis’s lack of healthy post players, the 40-year-old may play legitimate rotation minutes. However, there’s no need to consider adding Gibson.

Gibson was a late addition to Monday’s injury report, so his absence isn’t too surprising. Charlotte’s frontcourt rotation is at full strength, so Gibson’s status does not affect fantasy basketball.

Gibson is a late addition to the injury report, but with Mark Williams, Moussa Diabate and Jusuf Nurkic all healthy, Gibson won’t be part of the team’s rotation either way.
