Friday’s game will be Horford’s first since March 13, giving the Warriors a little more depth in the frontcourt. The veteran center/forward will be restricted to 15-20 minutes, limiting his value to managers in active fantasy leagues.

Horford last appeared in a game on March 13, and as recently as March 31, he was limited to individual workouts. According to the Warriors, the veteran center was worked into some segments of Saturday’s team practice. Horford will be re-evaluated early next week; the question is whether he’ll be able to get some game action before the start of the postseason.

Horford is still being limited to individual work, but he hopes to play a few games during the regular season before the play-in tournament. They have seven games left, including two back-to-back sets. With Horford still sidelined, Kristaps Porziņǵis and Draymond Green will continue to fill the center minutes, with Quinen Post (foot) still out as well.

Horford has missed Golden State’s last seven games with a strained right soleus. While he has progressed in his recovery, the veteran center/forward will be limited to light on-court workouts and will continue his off-court rehabilitation. The new timeline basically takes Horford out of the equation for fantasy basketball this season, even for leagues that run through Week 24.

Friday will mark two weeks since Horford exited a March 13 game against the Timberwolves with a right soleus strain. Kristaps Porziņǵis and Draymond Green will continue to handle the center responsibilities, as the Warriors are also without Quinten Post.

Horford has been diagnosed with a mild strain of his right calf. The timeline provided by the Warriors means that he’ll miss at least five games, starting with Sunday’s game against the Knicks. The Warriors have also been without Draymond Green and Kristaps Porziņģis recently, which has opened the door for players like Quinten Post to play more.

Horford left Friday’s loss to the Timberwolves with right calf tightness after just five minutes. The 39-year-old power forward has been ruled out ahead of Sunday’s game against the Knicks. With Kristaps Porzingis (illness) also out, Quinten Post could start and be worth streaming in standard leagues.

Horford played five minutes before exiting due to tightness in his right calf. The veteran center’s exit likely means more playing time for Quinten Post, especially with Draymond Green (back) out and Kristaps Porziņǵis under a minutes restriction.

Back in the lineup after sitting out Monday’s loss to the Jazz, Horford played a season-high 34 minutes against the Bulls. While he shot the ball poorly, including a 2-of-8 night from inside the three-point line, the veteran center did finish with a complete stat line. The Warriors end Week 20 with games on Friday and Sunday, with the second being part of a back-to-back.

Both players sat out Monday’s loss to the Jazz, but both will return for the second leg of Golden State’s back-to-back set. Horford’s role may be limited due to the availability of Kristaps Porziņģis.

Horford will sit out Monday’s game for injury management reasons, as the Warriors host the Bulls on Tuesday. With Kristaps Porziņǵis (illness) also out, Quinten Post will move up in the rotation. He’s only worth a look in extremely deep leagues.

Horford has started four of his last five games, and while the production against the Rockets was solid, his playing time may be more noteworthy. The veteran center logged 33 minutes, the first time he’s surpassed 30 minutes this season. Saturday’s game against the Thunder is Golden State’s final game of Week 19, and Horford’s availability should not be an issue. However, the Warriors open Week 20 with a back-to-back, so a four-game week may be three for the 39-year-old.

Monday’s game was the first in which Horford and Draymond Green (4/2/6/1 with one three-pointer in 31 minutes) started alongside each other since a January 30 loss to the Pistons. While Green struggled, especially in the second half, Horford was solid in his 27 minutes. And the 39-year-old has played more recently, due in part to the Warriors’ many injuries. Since the beginning of February, Horford has played between 26 and 28 minutes in seven of his last 10 appearances. And with the Warriors not knowing when Kristaps Porziņģis (illness) will be able to return, they’ll continue to rely on Horford, whether he starts or comes off the bench.

While Brook Lopez isn’t the force that he’s been in seasons past, the Warriors still needed to match up with him defensively. As a result, Horford is in the starting lineup, pushing Gui Santos to the bench. While Steve Kerr’s rotation can be unpredictable at times, Santos should still play plenty.

Horford was back in the Warriors’ starting lineup after sitting out Tuesday’s loss to the Pelicans, stepping in for the injured Draymond Green (back). The veteran center had a decent night, providing the most value in the rebound and assist categories. Horford’s lack of availability for back-to-backs has made him a challenging player to trust in most fantasy leagues. Still, he may be worth the risk if Kristaps Porziņǵis (illness) remains out for an extended period.

Horford missed the first leg of this back-to-back but will return to take on Memphis. He started in his most recent appearance and was excellent in 27 minutes. He should be productive once again if he continues to start with Kristaps Porziņģis (illness) still sidelined.

The veteran doesn’t play back-to-backs, so his absence for the frontend of Golden State’s Tuesday-Wednesday set isn’t surprising. With Kristaps Porziņģis (illness) also out, Quinten Post should see plenty of playing time in the Warriors’ frontcourt.

Horford moved into the starting lineup with Draymond Green being a late scratch due to a back injury. It’s a shame that news wasn’t available earlier because Horford had a monster game in Green’s absence. The 39-year-old power forward made six three-pointers on his way to 22 points. He also had seven assists and three steals and two blocks on the defensive end. Horford could be worth streaming if Green is unable to make it back for Tuesday’s game against the Pelicans.

While Horford came off the bench, he was in the game when the Warriors rallied to pick up the victory. After corralling his own missed shot, Horford’s assist to Gui Santos with 19.4 seconds remaining while sitting on the court capped a game-ending 19-5 run. Due to the minutes and production, Horford’s fantasy value has remained low. But his “real” value has helped keep the Warriors afloat on a few occasions, including Monday night.

After sitting out Monday’s loss to the Timberwolves, Horford was back in the starting lineup on Wednesday. Having started the last two games that he’s been available for, it’s fair to wonder if Horford will be able to hold onto the job for a bit. He provided good value in that role on Wednesday, recording a complete stat line that included eight assists and three blocks. Quentin Post (10/6/2 with two three-pointers) had a good night off the bench, but Horford has a higher ceiling because of his abilities as a facilitator and defender.

Horford started on Sunday, which was just his second start of the year. He doesn’t play back-to-backs, so he sat out on Monday but will return to play Utah. If he gets another start, Quinten Post will head back to the bench.

Horford was initially questionable for Sunday’s rescheduled game. He’ll provide added frontcourt depth off the bench, but is unlikely to deliver the value needed to impact fantasy basketball. Horford has not played both games of a back-to-back this season, so those who have him rostered should assume that the veteran center/forward won’t play in Monday’s rematch.

Sunday’s game will be the first of two in as many nights for the Warriors and Timberwolves, as the NBA postponed Saturday’s matchup. Given how his playing time has been handled this season, Horford will miss one of the two matchups with the Timberwolves.

No surprise here, as Horford sat out Tuesday on the second leg of a back-to-back set. He should handle his usual workload, which hasn’t proven to be too productive for fantasy managers.

Horford was not available for Saturday’s win over the Jazz, as it was Golden State’s second game in as many nights. He’ll provide additional frontcourt depth, but Horford’s days of being a viable option in most fantasy leagues are in the rearview mirror.

For the fourth time this season, Horford reached double figures in points. He only played 16 minutes on Friday, and he hasn’t hit or exceeded 20 since mid-November. Between the minutes restriction and the limited availability, with Horford not playing both games of back-to-backs, he’s a challenging player to trust in fantasy basketball, even as a streamer. The Warriors host the Jazz on Saturday, and Horford will not be available.

Horford was a legitimate game-time decision for Friday’s game, with the Warriors not announcing his availability until 10 pm Eastern. That isn’t good for the few fantasy managers who have him rostered, but the 39-year-old center has offered minimal value when available.

Horford is back on the injury report, but the probable tag suggests that he’s closer to being available than not. With Draymond Green (rest) ruled out, Horford may be asked to do a bit more, but the playing time won’t change much, if at all.

Horford did not play in Monday’s win over the Nets, an unsurprising development since it was the Warriors’ second game in as many nights. The veteran center’s return will likely result in fewer minutes for Quentin Post.

Thursday’s game was the first for Horford since December 4, and the veteran center did not wait to make a positive impression. He hit his first four three-point attempts, scoring 12 points in the first quarter. Horford did not provide much beyond the game’s first 12 minutes, logging only 11 minutes on the day. For that reason, there’s no need to add him, especially with a Sunday/Monday back-to-back on the horizon.
