Hinson got his second start of the season and ended up setting a new career high for scoring. Hinson went undrafted in 2024 out of Pittsburgh, but college career started back in 2018. It has been a long road for Hinson to make his NBA debut, and he has taken advantage of the opportunity. He’s currently on a two-way deal, but he won’t play quite this much next season.

Due to the many absences from the Jazz lineup, Hinson was inserted into the rotation on Wednesday. While the overall line was lean, the undrafted rookie provided solid value in points, three-pointers and percentages. As a two-way contract player, Hinson is not guaranteed to be active every game, so there’s no need to consider adding him in the aftermath of Wednesday’s performance.

George is back in the lineup after missing six games with a sprained right ankle, pushing Isaiah Collier to the bench. The other change to the lineup is Hinson, who replaces John Konchar in the starting five.
