Added to the injury report early Monday afternoon, Holland is good to go. He’ll provide additional wing depth off the bench but is unlikely to put up the numbers required to achieve fantasy relevance.

Holland is a late addition to the Pistons’ injury report for Monday’s game. While his production hasn’t been good enough to affect fantasy leagues, Holland’s availability does affect the Pistons’ wing rotation.

The Pistons saw a 19-point lead evaporate in the second half with Holland doing his best to keep them afloat, scoring a team-high nine points in the final two quarters. The 20-year-old lottery pick has seen a significant uptick in minutes due to Detroit’s recent injury issues, recording at least 24 minutes in three straight contests. He also matched a season-high with 15 shot attempts in this one. His fantasy appeal is strictly limited to deeper mixed leagues at this stage of his development, but the building blocks for a scoring and rebound dual threat are clearly there.

Holland was back in the Pistons’ rotation after missing two games with a knee injury. He was productive in his 19 minutes on the floor, joining Jaden Ivey and Caris LeVert as reserves who finished with 11 points. The issue for Holland from a fantasy standpoint is Detroit’s depth. Against the Jazz, five reserves reached double figures in minutes while a sixth, Daniss Jenkins, played nine. That limits the fantasy ceilings of the Pistons’ reserves, especially Holland. He should only be rostered in dynasty leagues at this point.

Holland is back after missing Detroit’s last two games. While he will be in the Pistons’ rotation, the second-year wing is unlikely to get the minutes needed to affect fantasy basketball. Holland should only be rostered in dynasty leagues.

Holland did not play in either of Detroit’s last two games, resulting in increased playing time for fellow reserve Javonte Green. While that would remain the case if Holland can’t play on Friday, Green would not be worth the streaming risk.

Holland will miss a second straight game, which means there will be extra minutes off the bench for Javonte Green and Caris LeVert, who is available after initially being listed as questionable. However, neither will play enough to be worth streaming.

Holland sat out Monday, and Javonte Green logged 24 minutes off the bench. With LeVert potentially sidelined, Daniss Jenkins and Jaden Ivey could enjoy more playing time.

Minott’s sore left knee will keep him out of Monday’s game, the first of two that the Pistons will play in as many nights. His absence does not significantly affect fantasy basketball, as fellow reserves Caris LeVert and Jaden Ivey are available.

With Holland expected to sit this one out, Javonte Green and Caris LeVert could pick up the slack, though neither player offers attractive streaming appeal.

Holland is dealing with a sore left knee. Detroit’s depth has limited the second-year wing’s fantasy value, and that also means they don’t lack options if he can’t play.

Already without Tobias Harris, the Pistons will also not have Isaiah Stewart for Sunday’s game. As a result, Holland will make his first start of the season and third of his two-year NBA career. Given Detroit’s lack of healthy power forwards, he’s worth a look in deep leagues for those seeking a streamer for Sunday’s late games.

There weren’t many bright spots for the Pistons in Monday’s loss, but Holland was able to have a decent game. He was one of four Pistons to score 10 points, as he was joined by Cade Cunningham, Tobias Harris and Tolu Smith, who came in during garbage time and made the score a bit more respectable. This wasn’t a great game for Holland, but in a game this ugly, it looked a little better than his teammates.

Detroit was without Jaden Ivey and Tobias Harris on Thursday, so Holland and Duncan Robinson (7/3/3/1 with one three-pointer) moved into the starting lineup. Holland did play in all 82 games as a rookie, but he provided limited fantasy value in a reserve role. And with the Pistons being even deeper this season due to the additions of Robinson and Caris LeVert, and Ivey’s return from a fractured leg, Holland faces a challenging climb to achieve fantasy relevance in 2025-26.

The Pistons have made two changes to the lineup that began the preseason opener against the Grizzlies. Holland and Robinson are in the starting lineup, filling the voids left by Jaden Ivey and Tobias Harris. While both will be in the rotation when the regular season begins, performing well during the preseason may improve their standing within the bench unit. Also of note is Stewart making a second straight start, as the Pistons remain without Jalen Duren.

After dropping 28 points in his first game of the summer, Holland was quieter on Sunday, but he got back on track against Minnesota. It wasn’t enough to get a win, but he has been impressive so far, averaging 21.7 points, 2.3 three-pointers and four steals per game. Holland should be in for a monster second year in the NBA.

Holland did all of his damage in 28 minutes and sat out the fourth quarter. The 20-year-old dominated in all phases of the game. Holland didn’t play regular minutes with the Pistons last year, but the second-year player showed his experience and was clearly the most talented player on the floor. Holland will look to join the Pistons’ regular rotation this season.

Fantasy managers in active leagues (and DFS tournaments) likely hoped to get more out of Holland on Sunday. The rookie did not provide much value as a starter, playing 23 minutes before giving way to players such as Lindy Waters III (18/5/1/1/1 with six three-pointers in 35 minutes) and even 17 minutes to the other Ron — Ron Harper Jr.. Holland will be in the Pistons’ rotation when the playoffs begin next weekend, but his playing time and value will be limited against the Knicks.

Sasser, Holland and Isaiah Stewart will all sit out Wednesday’s matchup with the Thunder, while Stewart will miss an additional game after getting slapped with a two-game suspension. Neither Sasser nor Holland has played meaningful minutes consistently this season, but their absences will allow guys like Simone Fontecchio and Lindy Waters III to log a little extra court time.

A physical altercation broke out early in the second quarter of Sunday’s game after Holland’s foul on Timberwolves forward Naz Reid. Things had already gotten heated, with emotions boiling over in the form of an altercation that spilled into the stands. Holland finished with four points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal in seven minutes, while Sasser recorded three points, one rebound, two assists and one three-pointer in six minutes. The question heading into Week 22 is whether or not the league will suspend either player.

Holland had one of the best games of his rookie season, impacting the action on both ends of the floor to help the Pistons compensate for Cade Cunningham’s absence. The rookie wing dropped season-highs in minutes (36) and assists (six), and the 26 points matched his previous high. Holland’s value moving forward depends on Cunningham’s availability, as he has only surpassed 20 minutes in four games since New Year’s Day.

In comparison to some other rookies in this class, Holland has flown under the radar at times during his first season in the league. Detroit has been too competitive for him to play a significant role, but he has been productive when given the opportunity. This wasn’t a monster performance by any means, but it was an encouraging one for dynasty managers. Holland won’t turn 20 years old until July, so any glimpses of upside at this point are great to see.
