After scoring a season-low eight points in Saturday’s loss to the Hawks, Hachimura rebounded nicely in Charlotte. While the return of Austin Reaves from a groin injury knocked the forward down a peg in the offensive pecking order, Rui benefited from the improved spacing. The result was his third 20-point game of the season, with Hachimura shooting 75 percent from the field and 100 percent from three. Rostered in 27 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he’s providing 10th-round value in nine-cat formats.

With Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves sidelined for the second leg of the Lakers’ back-to-back, Hachimura was one of the players that stepped up on offense. Hachimura had another efficient scoring night and set a new season-high for points. In fact, he has yet to make less than 50 percent of his shot attempts in a game this season. He won’t see the same volume most nights, but this was an excellent outing for him.

After putting up 23 points in Friday’s win over the Timberwolves, Hachimura followed that up with another solid performance against the Kings. The only issue was that he did not provide much value in the rebound category. However, Hachimura is in a spot where he can produce more offense, as the Lakers will be without Luka Dončić for at least one week. Hachimura is rostered in just 24 percent of Yahoo! leagues, and he’s worth picking up ahead of the Lakers’ four-game Week 2.

Hachimura excelled in one area statistically on Friday: scoring. He shot efficiently and added a couple of three-pointers en route to finishing as one of four players to score in double figures. And although the veteran forward’s final line may not stand out in fantasy basketball leagues, it was beneficial for the Lakers as they cruised down the stretch to a win.

This was the second straight game that Hachimura finished with exactly 23 points and five triples. Unfortunately, it was also a second straight single-digit loss for the Lakers, which brought their season to an end. Hachimura improved his numbers and took on a larger role this season with JJ Redick taking over as the team’s head coach. There will certainly be roster changes for Los Angeles this summer, but if Hachimura is kept around, he’ll be a decent, low-upside option in fantasy next season.

Hachimura and Austin Reaves (17/7/4/1/2 with five three-pointers) combined to shoot 10-of-22 from beyond the arc in Game 4, providing solid shooting alongside LeBron James and Luka Doncic. And this was a needed effort for the former, as he totaled 28 points in the first three games of the series. The Game 4 version of Hachimura is who needs to show up for Game 5 on Wednesday, as the Lakers are a loss away from elimination.

While it was mentioned last week that Hachimura would be available for future back-to-backs after sitting out a March 27 loss to the Bulls, that is not the case. He will not play against the Pelicans, likely resulting in Dorian Finney-Smith moving into the starting lineup. Finney-Smith hasn’t been an elite fantasy option, but he’s worth streaming in deep leagues when allowed to start.

After missing almost a month of games, it has taken Hachimura some time to get back on track. Thursday’s game was a good step as he had his highest-scoring performance since before the All-Star break. Hachimura has been a solid scoring option for the Lakers this season and has been able to maintain the starting job for most of the year. He doesn’t contribute value in many categories, but the points and efficiency have allowed him to be a decent fantasy option for most of the year.

Following an extended absence, Hachimura appeared in three straight games before sitting out Thursday’s loss to Chicago. That game was the second leg of a back-to-back set, and the Lakers will likely manage Hachimura’s knee injury moving forward. He started and logged 28 minutes in his last game out, and fantasy managers should expect a similar workload against Memphis. Dorian Finney-Smith may see a dip in playing time as a result.

After logging 28 minutes as a starter in Wednesday’s win over the Pacers, Hachimura will sit out the second game of the Lakers’ back-to-back. Dorian Finney-Smith should move into the starting lineup, making him a worthwhile streamer in deep leagues.

After coming off the bench in his first two games back from the knee injury that sidelined him for nearly one month, Hachimura returned to the starting lineup on Wednesday. Still under a minutes restriction, Rui played 28 minutes and only attempted five shots from the field. However, he made two critical fourth-quarter three-pointers and was 4-of-4 from beyond the arc. Due to Hachimura’s minutes restriction, Dorian Finney-Smith (11/3/1/2/1 with three three-pointers) logged 31 minutes despite coming off the bench. The Lakers visit the Bulls on Thursday, which could result in a return to the starting lineup for Finney-Smith. Hachimura should be considered questionable.

Hachimura logged 18 minutes and come off the bench on Saturday after missing almost a month with this knee issue. He was initially listed as questionable, but now he is expected to suit up against Orlando. He’ll likely see a limited role off the bench once again.

Hachimura returned to the Lakers’ rotation on Saturday after missing nearly one month with left knee tendinopathy. He logged 18 minutes, two fewer than the limit Lakers coach JJ Redick stated before the team lost to the Bulls. Hachimura will likely take on a similar workload if he’s allowed to play against the Magic, and he’s likely to come off the bench again.

Appearing in a game for the first time since February 27, Hachimura was said to be on a limit of 20-24 minutes on Saturday. He only played 18, due partially to things getting out of hand in the Lakers’ 146-115 defeat. Hachimura did not provide much value in his time on the court, and his fantasy prospects aren’t as promising when used in a reserve role. Dorian Finney-Smith (2/2/1/1/1 in 21 minutes) has been the starter since Hachimura’s injury; while his fantasy ceiling is lower, DFS’s defensive ability makes him a solid fit in the Lakers’ starting lineup. Whether or not that remains the case once Rui’s restriction is lifted may be another matter, as he played well before the knee injury.

Hachimura is available after missing 12 games with a left knee injury. Lakers coach JJ Redick said he will be on a minutes restriction for multiple games, beginning with a cap of 20-24 minutes on Saturday. Vincent started Thursday’s loss to the Bucks but will come off the bench since Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves are available.

Hachimura has missed the last 12 games with a knee injury, but is now likely to return Saturday against the Bulls given he’s been upgraded to probable status. Vincent continues to manage a knee injury, but is also now likely to suit up Saturday.

Friday’s game will be the eighth straight missed by Hachimura, who is dealing with left patellar tendinopathy. As for Hayes, he has missed the last four (counting Friday) with a right knee contusion. With Dorian Finney-Smith considered doubtful for Friday’s game, the Lakers must rely more on Jarred Vanderbilt at the power forward position. He doesn’t bring much to the table offensively, but the Lakers’ lack of depth makes Vanderbilt a player worth considering in deep leagues.

Lakers coach JJ Redick delivered the news following Friday’s win over the Clippers, the first game played after Hachimura strained his left knee during Thursday’s win over the Timberwolves. He’ll miss a few more games, and the Lakers begin an extended trip east on March 8 in Boston. Dorian Finney-Smith replaced Hachimura in the starting lineup on Friday and will likely retain that role. Jarred Vanderbilt will also have added importance but offers minimal offensive value.

However optimistic Redick is that Hachimura avoided a serious injury, he didn’t provide a timeline for the 27-year-old small forward’s return to the court. Hachimura had imaging done on his left knee Friday and Dorian Finney-Smith replaced him in the starting lineup. Finney-Smith is worth streaming in deep leagues while Hachimura is out, which should be for at least the next few games.

Hachimura was injured during the third quarter of Thursday’s win over the Timberwolves and has since been diagnosed with a strained left knee. Fantasy managers should prepare for this potentially being an injury that costs him multiple games, beginning with Friday night. Dorian Finney-Smith, who can provide three-pointers and steals, is the likely replacement in the starting lineup. He’s worth streaming in deep leagues.

Hachimura’s night will end early due to a left knee strain, which should allow Dorian Finney-Smith and Jarred Vanderbilt to take on extra minutes in the fourth quarter. If Hachimura remains out against the Clippers on Friday, DFS will likely start in his place.
