Hauser is most valuable to fantasy managers needing three-point production, and he’s made four triples in three of his last four appearances. Tuesday’s stat line included a bonus in the form of four assists, and he’s recorded 11 over his last three games. Hauser’s performance in Phoenix didn’t change much regarding his fantasy value moving forward, but the recent increase in assist production is a positive development.

Fantasy managers look to Hauser for three-point production, and he answered the call on Thursday. He’s now made four three-pointers in consecutive games, the first time he’s done so since January 26-28. The bonus for fantasy managers was the five assists, the most in a game for Hauser this season and one shy of his career-high. The Celtics don’t play again until Sunday, so there isn’t much to gain from adding Hauser in the immediate aftermath of Thursday’s performance.

Hauser was initially listed as probable, so his availability against the Bulls on Wednesday isn’t a surprise. The 28-year-old small forward missed Sunday’s loss to the Knicks with back spasms. His return will likely push Baylor Scheierman back to the bench.

Lower back spasms will keep Hauser out of Sunday’s matchup with the Knicks. The last time he missed a game, Wednesday’s win over the Rockets, the Celtics inserted Baylor Scheierman into the starting lineup. That could be the approach that Joe Mazzulla takes against the Knicks, but Scheierman is not a must-stream player in this spot.

Hauser is back after missing Wednesday’s win over the Rockets, the Celtics’ second game in as many nights. With the sharpshooter back in the fold, Luka Garza will head to the bench. And with Nikola Vučević available to make his Celtics’ debut, Garza’s limited fantasy value will take a hit.

Hauser will miss the second leg of this back-to-back, though with a thumb injury, it likely isn’t to manage an injury. With Jaylen Brown (hamstring, knee) doubtful, Payton Pritchard and either Jordan Walsh or Hugo Gonzalez should step into the starting unit.

In addition to providing the three-point production that deep-league managers expect, Hauser finished with solid numbers in the rebound and assist categories. Over the past two weeks, he has been a top-50 player in eight- and nine-cat formats. This current run may not last for the rest of the season, but Hauser is worth picking up if he’s sitting on the waiver wire. Rostered in 16 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Hauser won’t be too hard to find.

Hauser took advantage of some additional shot opportunities with Peyton Pritchard (ankle) sitting this one out. The 28-year-old sharpshooter knocked down a surreal seven three-pointers in the opening half, finishing with 21 points, to help the Celtics race out to a 31-point lead at the break. He finished with double-digit three-pointers for the first time in his career, falling just three points shy of matching his previous career-high mark of 33 points. It was an unbelievable shooting performance and illustrative of the type of impact Hauser can have when he’s in a groove.

Hauser is good to go after initially being listed as questionable. As long as the hamstring doesn’t flare up, he’ll take on a more prominent role offensively since Jaylen Brown (back) is out.

Hauser was a late scratch for Saturday’s loss to the Spurs, resulting in Hugo González starting and Jordan Walsh’s minutes matching those of Victor Wembanyama. If Hauser can’t play on Monday, the Celtics will stick with a rotation of González and Walsh.

Absent from the Celtics’ initial injury report, Hauser will not play due to tightness in his right hamstring. With Josh Minott (ankle) also out, Jordan Walsh will likely move into the starting lineup, and Hugo González should pick up a few additional minutes off the bench.

Hauser was feeling it in the early stages of the contest, hitting four three-pointers in the opening stanza as the Celtics built an early advantage. The 28-year-old sharpshooter doesn’t offer a ton of fantasy value as he’s prone to the typical ebbs and flows that a hot-and-cold three-point specialist typically deals with on a night-to-night basis. This was just his ninth double-digit scoring performance of the season.

The lone change to the Celtics’ starting lineup is Hauser, who replaces Jordan Walsh after hitting five three-pointers in Thursday’s win over the Kings. While Walsh is the superior defender, Hauser’s three-point production gives him a solid chance of offering value in category leagues.

Less than one week removed from seven made threes against the Pacers, Hauser popped off for five triples against the Kings. The veteran sharpshooter also made contributions on the glass during his 29 minutes of game action. Hauser won’t provide much fantasy value aside from three-point shooting, but he’s a fine streaming option for those managers in category leagues who could use a boost to their three-point production.

Hauser provided a much-needed spark off the bench in this one, knocking down 7-of-8 from three-point range to help the Celtics go from down double-digits in the second quarter to running the Pacers out of the building by halftime. The 28-year-old sharpshooter has been hot-and-cold for extended stretches this year with this seven-trey outburst showcasing his scoring upside against weaker defensive teams.

The Celtics have been forced to make a change to their starting lineup, as Jaylen Brown is unavailable due to illness. Hauser will start, and he’s capable of providing streaming value to managers in need of three-point production.

Hauser left Monday’s loss to the Pistons with a left ankle sprain in the first half. The 28-year-old small forward was listed as probable for Friday’s game against the Heat so it’s no surprise that he’s ultimately available. Luckily for Hauser, the injury wasn’t serious.

Hauser exited Monday’s loss to the Pistons after spraining his left ankle during the first half. He’s probable to play on Friday, a sign that the injury wasn’t too serious. Hauser’s availability affects the minutes of Hugo González and Baylor Scheierman, with the latter likely falling out of the rotation entirely if Sam plays.

Hauser, who missed his lone shot attempt and did not record any other statistics, headed to the locker room immediately after spraining his left ankle. The Celtics announced that the forward was questionable to return, but he never did. Hugo González (five points, five rebounds and one three-pointer in 16 minutes) and Baylor Scheierman (one assist in 15 minutes) picked up a few additional minutes in Hauser’s absence, with Jordan Walsh’s (eight points, six rebounds, two steals and one three-pointer in 18 minutes) foul trouble also impacting their playing time.

Hauser hasn’t been able to provide much consistent value this season, but he has been solid lately, having hit four triples in two of his last three appearances. He started the first two games of the year but has been in a reserve role since then. Unless he gets the chance to start, he isn’t worth rostering in standard leagues, even if he has had a pair of strong performances recently.

Hauser was initially listed as probable, so his availability isn’t a surprise. Since starting the first two games of the season, Hauser has been in a reserve role, and his minutes have dwindled. Unless he gets the chance to start, he shouldn’t be rostered.

Hauser is dealing with a sprained right wrist, a potentially problematic issue since he is a right-handed shooter. However, the probable tag suggests that this isn’t a serious issue and that Hauser will play. His availability does not significantly impact fantasy basketball, especially with Josh Minott playing well as the starting power forward.

Hauser replaced Josh Minott to start the second half of this game, but that didn’t lead to a good performance from either player. Hauser played 28 minutes to Minott’s 15, and it’s worth keeping an eye on to see if this is a move that will carry over into the Celtics’ game against the Wizards on Wednesday, or if this was just a result of Minott being in foul trouble again. Hauser is a good source of three-pointers, but Minott is a superior option in most other categories.

While Boston won the second quarter by a 35-18 margin, Hauser’s shooting late in the first quarter set the stage. The Celtics forward shot 5-of-6 from three in the second quarter, providing excellent value in the two categories he’s expected to. Hauser remains an option for managers needing points and three-pointers, but he will offer minimal category-league value overall.

The cost of contending for championships has gotten steeper, especially with the salary cap rules instituted in recent years. For the Celtics, the Achilles tendon rupture suffered by Jayson Tatum may impact how the front office approaches this offseason. If the team decides that a group that won’t have Tatum for most of the season can’t be a factor in the East, the decision could be made to shed salary. And Hauser, whose four-year, $45 million extension goes into effect next season, may be a prime candidate to be moved. “Hauser, to me, is the most likely candidate to go, just because you have (Baylor) Scheierman there to effectively fill his role,” Mannix said. “I think they’d love to find a home for Jrue Holiday, just because of the contract and where they are as a team. (Kristaps) Porzingis, who knows? I don’t think they want to take on contracts that go on longer than Porzingis’ deal, but he’s certainly available.” Hauser being traded would make Scheierman worth a look in deep fantasy leagues next season.

Hauser missed Games 2-4 after injuring his ankle in Game 1 of this series. With Jayson Tatum (Achilles) done for the year, Hauser could be relied on to play extended minutes as Boston looks to keep its season alive.

Hauser has been out of the Celtics’ lineup since spraining his ankle during Game 1. His likely return will give Boston another rotation player to call upon, as Jayson Tatum (Achilles) is out for the foreseeable future. With Kristaps Porzingis (illness) still not back to full strength, Hauser will play rotation minutes if cleared, potentially as a starter.

While Hauser was listed as questionable for Game 4 with an ankle injury, he hasn’t seen any game action since leaving early in Game 1 of the series. Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla turned to Payton Pritchard for a series-high 35 minutes off the bench in Game 3 as the Celtics got back in the series with a 22-point victory. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see that recipe for success replicated in Game 4.

After missing Games 2 and 3, Hauser is in danger of missing Game 4 as well. He exited early from Game 1, and head coach Joe Mazzulla relied on Payton Pritchard to take on even more minutes off the bench instead of turning to another reserve to fill Hauser’s minutes. That will likely remain true if Hauser misses Game 4.

As expected, Hauser will remain sidelined for a second straight game after exiting early from Game 1 and missing Game 2. Head coach Joe Mazzulla simply tightened up the rotation with Hauser gone, and he will likely continue to stick with an eight-man rotation as the Celtics look to get their first win of this series.
