While Hendricks scored 16 points in Wednesday’s loss to the Nuggets, Jackson was not available. With both out and Olivier-Maxence Prosper listed as doubtful for Friday’s game, Toby Okani is likely to play heavy minutes out of necessity.

Hendricks was productive despite playing only 22 minutes on Wednesday. He shot the ball well overall and capitalized on his few three-point attempts, allowing him to score in double figures for a second consecutive game. The fourth-year forward also contributed on the glass and finished as the only Grizzlies player to record at least one block and steal apiece. Hendricks has been a more productive player during his brief time in Memphis than he was previously in Utah. He’ll have an opportunity to finish the regular season strong.

Hendricks, who did not play in Monday’s loss to the Cavaliers, is available and will replace Olivier-Maxence Prosper in the starting lineup. The other changes to the lineup are Mashack and Okani, who step in for Cam Spencer and Lucas Williamson. Spencer is not available, but Williamson should play significant minutes off the bench.

While Hendricks started Friday’s loss to the Rockets and played 30 minutes, Mashack was not available due to a sprained ankle. If Hendricks can’t play, his absence would open a spot in the starting lineup. As for Mashack, there may be additional minutes available on the perimeter since Ty Jerome is out and Cam Spencer is doubtful.

Hendricks isn’t going to be a player who provides high point totals. However, the ability to fill a stat line makes him a valuable option during the silly season. Since the All-Star break, Hendricks has provided seventh-round value in eight-cat formats. The Grizzlies visit the Hornets on Saturday, and that could be another good matchup for Hendricks given how shorthanded Memphis is.

The only holdover from the lineup that started Thursday’s loss to the Mavericks is Prosper. Jerome, Spencer and Coward are back after not playing against Dallas, while Hendricks shifts from the bench to the starting lineup since GG Jackson is out.

A sore right thumb is likely to keep Hendricks out of Monday’s game, the first of two in as many nights for the Grizzlies. Starters GG Jackson and Olivier-Maxence Prosper take on added importance if Hendricks sits, and Jahmai Mashack may be asked to play rotation minutes again.

Since the All-Star break, Hendricks has been close to a top-100 player in eight-cat formats. He recorded an excellent stat line on Saturday, doing his damage in 26 minutes off the bench. Given the defensive ability, Hendricks should not have any issues getting minutes the rest of the season. GG Jackson remains the superior option among Grizzlies’ forwards, but managers in deep leagues should not sleep on Hendricks.

Hendricks is a late addition to the injury report, a concerning development for a team that’s currently lacking frontcourt depth. Due to the injuries, Memphis would have to rely even more on GG Jackson and Olivier-Maxence Prosper if Hendricks can’t play.

After getting off to an uneven start in his first few games with the Grizzlies, Hendricks has reached double figures in four straight games. The 19 points were the most he’s scored in a game since December 23, when he scored 23 against the Grizzlies while still a member of the Jazz. With the Grizzlies announcing before Sunday’s game that Zach Edey (ankle) will undergo another surgery, Hendricks offers a higher fantasy ceiling, even if he isn’t a traditional center.

Hendricks’ fantasy value remains low, but he’s played at least 20 minutes in all nine of his games with Memphis. He isn’t a player who needs to be picked up in most fantasy leagues, as Olivier-Maxence Prosper should be the priority. However, he is worth tracking for the silly season, especially with it unknown when — or if — Zach Edey and Santi Aldama will return from their injuries this season.

Jerome and Clayton are available after sitting out Friday’s win over the Jazz, and both will start. The former may still be under a minutes restriction, but that won’t do much to limit Jerome’s value. GG Jackson will head to the bench, while Lawson Lovering is now a free agent after his 10-day contract expired. With Kyle Anderson out, Hendricks moves into the starting lineup, while Prosper replaces Jahmai Mashack.

The Grizzlies are without Ty Jerome, Cedric Coward and Scotty Pippen Jr. for Friday’s game, among others. Wells and Jackson are the holdovers from the Grizzlies’ final game before the All-Star break, with Mashack, Hendricks and Lovering moving into the starting five. Of the three replacements, Hendricks is the one who offers the highest fantasy ceiling.

After totaling 11 points and six rebounds in his first two appearances as a Grizzly, Hendricks had one of his best games of the season on Monday. Recording his first double-double, the 6-foot-9 forward recorded a season-high 10 boards. And the 15 points were the most in a game for Hendricks since December 23, when he dropped 21 on the Grizzlies while still with the Jazz. With Santi Aldama (knee) out, there’s more room for Hendricks within the rotation, even if he isn’t a true center. There may be some deep-league value to be had during the silly season because of Hendricks’ defensive potential.

Hendricks played 21 minutes in both of Memphis’ games in Portland. While the production wasn’t great, the playing time was there, unlike in Utah pre-trade. Hendricks isn’t someone who needs to be rostered in redraft leagues, but managers competing in dynasty formats will undoubtedly watch him the rest of this season.

Injuries marred Hendricks’ first two seasons, the second of which consisted of just three games due to a broken leg. The 2023 lottery pick has appeared in 33 games this season, but he was unable to work his way back into the starting lineup after beginning the 2024-25 campaign in that role. However, the move to Memphis may give Hendricks a better chance of carving out a concrete role, as the Grizzlies appear to be pivoting toward a rebuild. If so, Hendricks should have increased value during the silly season.

Lauri Markkanen is not available for Saturday’s game, opening up a spot in the starting lineup. Hendricks will fill the void in a move that raises his fantasy ceiling. Kyle Filipowski should still play rotation minutes, but coming off the bench does decrease his value.

Hendricks only played 17 minutes in this game, and the lack of production was disappointing. The former top-10 pick has gotten chances this year but hasn’t been able to make the most of them often. Until Hendricks proves otherwise, he shouldn’t be rostered in redraft leagues but remains a worthy stash in dynasty formats.

For the first time this season, Svi Mykhailiuk is not part of Utah’s starting lineup. He’s been replaced by Hendricks, who brings a bit more to the table defensively as the Jazz have to account for Boston’s Jaylen Brown. The move into the starting five raises Hendricks’ ceiling, but his production has not been consistent enough to merit streaming in most leagues.

Hendricks’ offense has prevented him from making an impact for fantasy managers this season, which makes a performance like this one so encouraging. He set a new season high for scoring, which allowed him play a season-high 27 minutes, which led to a new season high for steals. If he can continue to contribute on offense, he’ll get more minutes, which leads to more defensive stats. He’ll look to stay hot against the Pistons on Friday.

Hitting double figures in points for the third time this season, Hendricks recorded his first career 20-point game on Sunday. With Lauri Markkanen (illness) being out, there were more opportunities available to the third-year forward despite his coming off the bench. Hendricks has not reached the point where he’s worth rostering in most fantasy leagues, but that could change as the season progresses, especially with the Jazz still rebuilding.
