Herro returned to the starting lineup Saturday in his second game back from a toe injury. Somewhere along the way, the 25-year-old point guard also picked up a rib contusion. Now Herro is questionable against the Thunder on Sunday. Kel’el Ware had just two points with Herro starting Saturday and would seem to benefit if Herro is out Sunday.

After coming off the bench in his first game back from a toe injury, Herro was back in the starting lineup on Saturday. He finished with a complete stat line, but the Heat were blown out and the other starters struggled. Where Herro is within the lineup doesn’t matter much, as he’ll provide solid fantasy value wherever. But it does affect Kel’el Ware, who tallied two points and three rebounds in 17 minutes off the bench. Ware can still offer reliable fantasy value, but he’s someone to watch with Herro back in the fold. The Heat visit Oklahoma City on Sunday.

Herro was supposed to start on Thursday against the Bulls, but the game was postponed due to condensation on the United Center floor. So, he’ll make his first start since returning from a toe injury on Saturday, with Kel’el Ware coming off the bench.

After coming off the bench in his first game back from a right great toe injury, Herro has returned to the starting lineup. As a result, Kel’el Ware will come off the bench. While his ceiling is slightly lower with the demotion, Ware should still be rostered in most leagues.

Herro looked like his usual self coming off the bench in this one following an 11-game absence recovering from a right toe injury. He shot the ball well overall but was just 1-of-4 from three-point range in his first game action since December 9. It was an off night for Miami overall as they shot just 35.7 percent from the floor as a team and failed to break the century mark. It’s been a frustrating season for Herro, and fantasy managers, as injuries have limited to just seven games after he played 77 of 82 last year. He shouldn’t have too many restrictions from a minutes standpoint moving forward.

Herro was available on Sunday, but he didn’t take the court. According to Heat reporter Ira Winderman, Herro plans to play against the Timberwolves, which will be his first taste of game action since December 9. Fantasy managers can get him into lineups, but they should temper expectations for his first game back.

Herro was available on Sunday, but he didn’t play, and he hasn’t taken the court since December 9. Until he’s ready to return, Kel’el Ware should remain with the first unit. Pelle Larsson and Davion Mitchell should continue to see extended run.

While Herro is available, he is not expected to see any action. Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra said the guard remains day-to-day and is unsure when Herro will be available. Kel’el Ware will continue to start until that changes.

Herro, who last played on December 9, has appeared in six games this season. After his first extended absence of the season, the Heat inserted the guard into the starting lineup immediately. If that were the approach for Sunday (if Herro plays), Kel’el Ware would be the player most likely headed to the bench based on head coach Erik Spoelstra’s approach in the past. However, by no means should fantasy managers consider dropping Ware if he’s moved into a reserve role.

We’re now coming up on a month with Herro on the sidelines. He has now missed nine games and hasn’t played since December 9th. With Pelle Harsson also out on Thursday, there should be extra usage for Davion Mitchell and Jaime Jaquez Jr.

Herro has not appeared in a game since December 9, with Saturday’s matchup with the Pacers being the seventh straight that he’s missed. According to Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra, the guard is progressing in his recovery, but he does not have a timeline for return. Once Herro is cleared to return and play without restrictions, Pelle Larsson is the player most likely headed to the bench, with Davion Mitchell’s defense keeping him with the starters.

Herro is set to miss his seventh consecutive game with a toe injury. Davion Mitchell had six points and seven assists in 29 minutes as the starting point guard in the win over the Hawks on Friday. He’ll continue to have that role with Herro out.

Herro will miss a sixth straight game after aggravating the toe injury that sidelined him earlier in the season. Kel’el Ware has started Miami’s last four games and will likely remain in that role. He should already be rostered in most fantasy leagues.

Herro is set to miss his fifth game in row with a toe injury. Davion Mitchell had 13 points and eight assists in Sunday’s loss to the Knicks. Mitchell should continue as the starting point guard with Herro sidelined.

Sunday’s game will be the fourth that Herro has missed since aggravating a toe injury. Rookie Kasparas Jakučionis was in the starting lineup for Friday’s loss to the Celtics, finishing with 17 points, six rebounds, four assists and five three-pointers in 36 minutes. Injuries have limited Jakučionis’ opportunities, but he’ll be worth a look in deep leagues if Davion Mitchell (ankle) joins Herro on the sidelines.

Herro didn’t practice on Wednesday, but traveling with Miami implies he has a chance to return during their next three games. That trip starts in Brooklyn on Thursday. Simone Fontecchio, who started in place of Herro on Monday, would likely get another start if Herro misses at least one more game.

After returning from a toe injury to face the Magic in the Heat’s most recent game, Herro is out again as Miami tries to stop a four-game skid. Simone Fontecchio will start in his place, joining Bam Adebayo, Andrew Wiggins, Davion Mitchell, and Norman Powell. Herro has had a productive season, though he’s only appeared in six games due to various injuries. When healthy, he’s been one of the Heat’s top scoring options, and should continue to be once re-entering the lineup.

Following a two-game absence, Herro was back in the lineup for Tuesday’s NBA Cup matchup with Orlando. He was able to score at least 20 points for a 16th straight game, which dates back to the end of last season. However, for the second time in six appearances this year, Herro failed to knock down a three-pointer, which has been one of his strongest categories over the last few seasons. That won’t happen often, but he wasn’t alone in struggling from deep. As a team, the Heat shot 8-of-33 from beyond the arc, while the Magic shot 15-of-32, which was one of the deciding factors in this game. With the loss, Miami will play on Monday against the loser of the Raptors-Knicks quarterfinal matchup, meaning this was the Heat’s final game of this week. Herro will look to bounce back then, but this ends up being just a one-game week for Miami.

With Mitchell and Herro back, Miami will roll out its preferred starting unit. That will push Kel’el Ware and Dru Smith back to the bench, though Ware should still play a significant role as a reserve. Smith, however, won’t play enough to be considered as a streamer, even on a day with only two games.

Herro, who has missed Miami’s last two games, participated in Monday’s practice. As a result, he’s on track to return to the starting lineup for Tuesday’s NBA Cup quarterfinal in Orlando. If Herro plays, Kel’el Ware will likely be the player who returns to the bench.

Herro missed Friday’s game against the Magic with a toe injury and is now doubtful for Saturday against the Kings. If the 25-year-old point guard is out again, Pelle Larsson will start while Norman Powell and Jaime Jaquez Jr. see a boost in fantasy value.

Herro was initially listed as questionable, but was downgraded to doubtful and is unlikely to play against the Magic on Friday. If the 25-year-old point guard is ultimately ruled out, Pelle Larsson and Jaime Jaquez Jr. will see extra minutes. Norman Powell would also see a boost in fantasy value without Herro.

Herro is dealing with irritation in his right big toe, hence his appearance on the injury report. If he’s unable to play, Norman Powell (ankle) could fill the void, but he is also questionable for Friday night. Pelle Larsson and Jaime Jaquez Jr. would also be in line to provide added fantasy value if Herro and Powell can’t play.

Since making his season debut on November 24, Herro has scored at least 20 points in all five games. Averaging 23.8 points on 52.4 percent shooting from the field, he has provided top-25 value in nine-cat formats. Herro’s production is a round worse in eight-cat, but fantasy managers aren’t likely to lose any sleep over that. Miami did not have Norman Powell (ankle) on Wednesday, but he has played three of the five games that Herro has been available for. As long as they can stay healthy, both players’ fantasy values should be fine.

Herro shot the ball well from beyond the arc, making six of his 11 attempts. However, what could have been an even bigger night was short-circuited by a 0-of-6 effort from inside the arc. Herro shot better than 69 percent from two in his first two appearances of the season, so fantasy managers should not be too concerned. The Heat open a four-game Week 7 on Monday against the Clippers.

Herro, after scoring 24 points in his season debut on Monday, was even more impressive against the Bucks. He shot the ball efficiently again and got to the free-throw line consistently to nearly reach the 30-point mark by the game’s conclusion. He was also very involved as a facilitator on Wednesday, after not tallying any against the Mavericks. Herro’s balanced performance should be a sign of things to come — he led Miami in points, assists, and three-pointers per game last season.
