Ingram’s absence from the lineup leaves the Raptors in a similar situation to Game 6, needing to win without one of their best players to avoid elimination. The former Most Improved Player had struggled to score the ball efficiently, however, over the first five games of the series when he was available. Jamal Shead filled in for Ingram as a starter in Game 6’s victory, tallying seven points and six assists; he’s likely to occupy that starting spot again on Sunday.

Ingram, who sat out Friday’s Game 6 victory with an inflamed right heel, was seen at pregame shootaround with his foot in a walking boot. He’s now on track to miss a second consecutive game and has since been downgraded to doubtful. Jamal Shead moved into the starting lineup on Friday and should remain in that role as the Raptors look to become the first team to win a road game in this series.

Injured during Game 5, Ingram did not play in Friday’s Game 6 victory and wore a walking boot on his right foot. Jamal Shead moved into the starting lineup on Friday and played 33 minutes. The second-year guard should take on a similar workload if Ingram can’t play in the series decider.

Ingram, who had to exit Game 5 during the second quarter with right heel inflammation, will miss what could be the Raptors’ final game of the season. A.J. Lawson started the second half of Game 5 but only played two minutes, with Jamal Shead receiving the lion’s share of the available playing time. Either one could find themselves in the starting lineup for Game 6.

Ingram had to leave Game 5 early with heel inflammation, and the injury is serious enough that it will likely keep him sidelined for the do-or-die Game 6 at Scotiabank Arena. With Ingram expected to sit out on Friday, Jamal Shead could enter the starting lineup, and A.J. Lawson could pick up some additional minutes.

Ingram exited Wednesday’s Game 5 defeat with a right heel injury that the Raptors are now describing as inflammation. While A.J. Lawson entered the lineup to begin the third quarter, he only played two minutes, with fellow reserve Jamal Shead logging 34 minutes. If Ingram can’t play on Friday, Lawson could start, but Shead stands to benefit more in terms of playing time.

Ingram played 11 minutes in Game 5 before aggravating a right heel injury that he’s been dealing with for a few weeks. The initial plan was to retape the foot, but the soreness was too much for the veteran wing to play through. Ja’Kobe Walter, who started and has already made five three-pointers, takes on added importance, as will Jamal Shead.

A late second-quarter flurry and an important three-pointer late in the fourth quarter meant that despite his offensive struggles, at least his contributions came at pivotal moments. Ingram didn’t tally any assists, meaning his impact on offense was mostly as a scorer. He’ll have another chance to find his rhythm on Wednesday in Game 5.

The good news for Ingram in Game 2 is that he got more shots than he did in Saturday’s series opener. The bad was that he struggled mightily, shooting 20 percent from the field. Even a marginally better version of Ingram would have been enough to give the Raptors a chance to steal Game 2, much less the All-Star version the team received for most of the regular season. It goes without saying that Ingram must be better if Toronto is to have a chance of winning this series. Game 3 is on Thursday in Toronto.

Ingram didn’t make a great impression in his first playoff action with the Raptors. The 28-year-old small forward had just four points and was 0-of-1 from the field in the second half. With Ingram not scoring, the Cavaliers pulled away in the third quarter, winning it by 14 points. Ingram will need to bounce back in a big way if the Raptors are going to get back into the series.

Ingram’s first regular season with the Raptors ended on a high note. Over the final four games, he averaged 25.5 points while shooting 57.8 percent from the floor. That was enough to lead Toronto to the fifth seed in the East, which sets them with a first-round matchup against the Cavaliers. Ingram played in 77 games this season, which was the most he played in since his rookie year. They’ll need him at his best to defeat Cleveland.

While Ingram shot just over 50 percent from the field, he missed all four of his free-throw attempts in an underwhelming showing in New York. For fantasy managers in active leagues, BI did provide solid value in rebounds and assists, but he’s certainly had better nights. With the Raptors still needing to win on Sunday to guarantee that they avoid the Play-In tournament, Ingram should play starters’ minutes against the Nets.

Ingram put on an offensive clinic on Thursday, helping the Raptors complete a sweep of the season series with the Heat for the first time since 2018-19. In addition to the 38 points, the slender forward recorded seven rebounds and seven assists in one of his better all-around efforts of the season. The Raptors moved into fifth in the East with their win over the Heat; two wins would keep them ahead of Atlanta because of the head-to-head tiebreaker.

Since totaling 70 points in wins over the Suns and Pistons in mid-March, Ingram entered Tuesday having recorded one 20-point game in his last eight appearances. That dry spell coincided with Immanuel Quickley’s absence due to a foot injury, so getting IQ back on the court Tuesday night was huge for Ingram. In addition to the efficient scoring, he offered solid value in rebounds, assists, steals and three-pointers.

Ingram’s impact was somewhat muted on Sunday, and he’s now scored 18 points or less in five of his last six appearances. Add in Scottie Barnes’ recent struggles and Immanuel Quickley’s foot injury, and the Raptors are limping to the finish line. With the Raptors still working to avoid the Play-In tournament, Ingram’s availability should not be an issue in Toronto’s four-game Week 24.

Ingram’s line was unspectacular, yet productive, given his limited minutes in the blowout victory. The former Most Improved Player shot the ball well and was just as effective as a passer and rebounder. However, fantasy managers will certainly hope for more from Ingram in Sunday’s fantasy basketball finale when the Raptors face the Celtics, a team that Ingram is averaging 27.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists against in two games this season.

Ingram will unsurprisingly sit out the second leg of this back-to-back as he continues to manage a heel injury. Jamal Shead joined the starting unit in Ingram’s latest absence, and he should return to the opening lineup for this game.

Ingram was a late scratch for Sunday’s win over the Magic, but returned Tuesday with 22 points in the loss to the Pistons. The 28-year-old small forward didn’t do much else in his 31 minutes, adding just one rebound and one three-pointer. The Raptors still have three games left in Week 23 for Ingram to have a more complete game.

Ingram missed Monday’s win over the Jazz with a heel issue, but has appeared in the last two Raptors games. After he was initially listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Magic, he’s been ruled in. Ingram hasn’t reached 20 points in either game since returning. It’s a tough break for fantasy managers as Ingram isn’t firing on all cylinders during the fantasy playoffs.

Ingram’s heel issue has lingered for a bit, with the Raptors forward sitting out Monday’s win over the Jazz. He did not miss either of Toronto’s last two games; hopefully, that bodes well for Ingram’s availability for Sunday. If he sits, Jamal Shead could move into the starting lineup, shifting Ja’Kobe Walter down a position. Walter started Friday’s win over the Pelicans due to Immanuel Quickley being out.

Ingram was Toronto’s leading scorer on a night when not much went right for the team’s offense. He shot unspectacularly in his 36 minutes but failed to reach the 20-point mark. The former Most Improved Player did decent work on the glass and as a passer, as well, but his final line wasn’t one that should excite fantasy managers during the fantasy playoffs. Ingram and the Raptors will face the Pelicans on Friday and will have a chance to put forth a better performance.

Ingram had a rough night in Phoenix, with the six points matching his season-low. And the first time he scored six points, a January 7 win over the Bulls, was a game in which he was limited to 11 minutes due to injury. Ingram played 37 minutes against the Suns and could never get on track. The good news for fantasy managers is that Toronto begins a four-game Week 22 in Utah on Monday. It would be unsurprising if Ingram had a big night against the lottery-bound Jazz.

Despite averaging nearly 22 points per game since the All-Star break, Ingram has only been a seventh-round player during this stretch. The issue has been a decrease in his field-goal and free-throw percentages. The foul line has been the bigger issue, with Ingram’s post-break percentage (76.0) being over seven points lower than his pre-break percentage (83.7). He’ll look to take a step toward cleaning up that category when the Raptors visit the Suns on Sunday.
