Devin Booker, Grayson Allen, Dillon Brooks, Ryan Dunn and Oso Ighodaro will start Wednesday’s game against the Kings.

Mark Williams (lower body) is available, but his minutes will be restricted, so the Suns are bringing him off the bench in his debut for the team. Ighodaro, who was the starting center throughout the preseason, will remain in that role, which gives him a shot at achieving fantasy relevance in the short term. Also, Allen will start with Jalen Green (hamstring) unavailable.

    Recap

Oso Ighodaro accumulated 12 points (5-of-7 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), three rebounds, one assist, one steal and three blocked shots in Friday’s exhibition against the Nets.

While the Suns reportedly hope to have Mark Williams (foot) available in time for the October 22 season opener, that isn’t guaranteed. Ighodaro, who appeared in 61 games as a rookie, has started the first two preseason games, which may be a harbinger of what’s to come if Williams cannot play. The second-year forward/center played 22 minutes on Friday and recorded a complete line that included four “stocks.” Nick Richards (9/4/0/1/2) and Khaman Maluach (10/5/2) played 11 and 20 minutes off the bench, respectively. Maluach offers the highest upside of the three, but Ighodaro is also worth taking a late flier on due to the uncertainty surrounding Williams.

    Recap

Oso Ighodaro amassed 18 points (8-of-12 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), nine rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks in Sunday’s loss to the Hawks.

With Khaman Maluach held out of Sunday’s game, the Suns relied on Ighodaro even more than they did in Friday’s win over the Wizards. Coming off a rookie season in which he did not receive many opportunities to contribute, the former Marquette standout is looking to earn consistent opportunities in year two. Ighodaro’s ability to facilitate offensively and protect the paint on defense could make him a factor within the Suns’ rotation, even with the additions of Maluach and Mark Williams, and the return of Nick Richards.

    Recap

Oso Ighodaro tallied 10 points (5-of-7 FGs), four rebounds, three assists and one steal in 26 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Kings.

Despite being replaced in the starting lineup by Mason Plumlee (4/5/3 in 22 minutes), Ighodaro still played more minutes in Sunday’s finale. The rookie center had moments in which he showed promise, but Mike Budenholzer’s rotation and the overall state of the Suns did not do Oso any favors. Ighodaro has the talent to be a factor in deeper fantasy formats, but that depends on what Phoenix’s roster looks like next season.

    Recap

Oso Ighodaro shot 6-of-8 from the field in Friday’s loss to the Celtics, scoring 12 points with seven rebounds and one assist in 32 minutes.

Ighodaro made his fourth start of the season and first since March 21, replacing the inconsistent Nick Richards. The rookie had a solid night in Beantown, hitting double figures in scoring for the first time since March 14. Richards played 14 minutes off the bench, finishing with four points, seven rebounds and one steal. While Ighodaro did not set the world on fire with his performance, he likely did enough to hold the job for Sunday’s game against the Knicks. If Mike Budenholzer agrees, he’ll be worth streaming for Sunday’s game against the Knicks.

Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, Ryan Dunn, Royce O’Neale and Oso Ighodaro will start Friday’s game against the Celtics.

The most notable change to the Suns’ lineup is Beal, who is back after missing time with a hamstring injury. His return pushes Collin Gillespie to the bench. Also in the lineup are O’Neale and Ighodaro, who replace Grayson Allen and Nick Richards. O’Neale is a safer streaming option than Ighodaro, but the rookie is worth a look when allowed to start.

    Recap

Oso Ighodaro had six points (3-of-7 FGs), 13 rebounds and three assists against the Cavaliers on Friday.

Ighodaro drew the start with Nick Richards (calf) a late scratch Friday. While the 22-year-old center has had better games, it was an encouraging performance. Ighodaro had 13 rebounds in a difficult matchup against Cleveland’s Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. He also played 44 minutes, which shows the Suns feel comfortable with him out there. His backup Bol Bol didn’t play at all. Ighodaro could have some real fantasy value if Richards’ injury were to linger.

Collin Gillespie, Devin Booker, Ryan Dunn, Kevin Durant and Oso Ighodaro will start against the Cavaliers on Friday.

Nick Richards (calf) was a late scratch after being injured during his pregame workout. Ighodaro will replace him in the starting lineup at center. Bol Bol should also take on a larger role off the bench as the other option down low.

    Recap

Oso Ighodaro finished Monday’s win over the Raptors with nine points (4-of-6 FTs), nine rebounds, four assists, one steal and one blocked shot in 26 minutes.

While Ighodaro has not provided much fantasy value on most nights this season, he has had more opportunities recently. The rookie has taken on the backup center responsibilities in the Suns’ last four games, averaging 8.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.5 steals and 1.5 blocks in 27.5 minutes. Ighodaro has recorded excellent percentages, shooting 77.8 percent from the field and 80 percent from the foul line. Nick Richards (10 points, four rebounds and one assist) remains the starting center, but he only logged 12 minutes on Monday. Ighodaro isn’t a player to add right now, but he’s worth watching for the rest of Week 20.

    Recap

Oso Ighodaro accumulated 11 points (4-of-5 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, one assist, one steal and one blocked shot in 32 minutes in Friday’s win over the Kings.

Suns center Mason Plumlee was not around for the second consecutive game for the conclusion. Tossed from Wednesday’s loss to the Rockets after getting into a wrestling match with Steven Adams, Plumlee was whistled for a Flagrant 2 during Friday’s game. His exit freed up minutes for Ighodaro, who recorded a solid stat line in his 32 minutes on the court. There’s no need to consider adding the rookie, who also benefitted from Nick Richards being out with an ankle injury. But he may have earned himself another opportunity to play rotation minutes in the near future.
