    Injury

De’Andre Jordan (conditioning) is not on the injury report for Monday’s game against the Celtics.

Signed to a one-year deal on Friday, Jordan is not on the injury report for Monday’s matchup with the Celtics. How much, or if, he’ll play depends on the statuses of Yves Missi (ankle) and Karlo Matković (back), who are questionable. Even if those two don’t play, Jordan offers limited streaming upside at this stage in his NBA career.

    Injury

Pelicans head coach Willie Green said that it’s unlikely that DeAndre Jordan (conditioning) will play in Friday’s game against the Spurs.

Signed to a one-year deal Friday afternoon, Jordan will give the Pelicans needed interior depth due to the absences of Kevon Looney (knee), Yves Missi (ankle) and Karlo Matkovic (elbow). However, he is not expected to be available for Friday’s game, meaning rookies Derik Queen and Hunter Dickinson will take on the unenviable task of trying to slow down Victor Wembanyama. The Pelicans may also go small at times, sliding Zion Williamson to the five. Of the two rookies, Queen is the better option to roll the dice on in fantasy leagues.

    Transaction

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that DeAndre Jordan has agreed to a one-year, $3.6 million deal with the Pelicans.

New Orleans is dealing with a number of frontcourt injuries, so signing Jordan makes sense. In the long-term, he will provide depth at center, but he may see some immediate run given the status of Yves Missi (ankle), Karlo Matkovic (elbow) and Kevon Looney (knee). Despite the opportunity to see the court quickly for New Orleans, Jordan is not a recommended fantasy pickup outside of deep leagues.

    Recap

DeAndre Jordan shot 2-of-4 from the field and 6-of-12 from the foul line in Wednesday’s loss to the Spurs, scoring 10 points with 17 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one blocked shot in 36 minutes.

Jordan returned to the Nuggets’ starting lineup for the first time since March 24. As expected, the veteran center provided excellent value in the rebound category, with the 17 caroms matching his season-high. Jordan only had four official shot attempts, as the Spurs resorted to sending him to the foul line instead of giving up layups and dunks. Moving forward, Jordan will only be worth rostering when Nikola Jokic is unavailable, as on Wednesday.

    Recap

DeAndre Jordan tallied 10 points (4-of-6 FGs, 2-of-5 FTs), 17 rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 30 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Bulls.

Jordan made another start for the injured Nikola Jokic, and the veteran center came through with another double-double. The 17 rebounds were a season-high for DeAndre, who was also responsible for 10 points and seven assists. Jordan’s value for the rest of Week 21 depends on Jokic’s availability. Jordan is a must-stream if the three-time MVP remains out, especially for managers needing rebound production.

    Recap

DeAndre Jordan accumulated 11 points (5-of-7 FGs), 15 rebounds, four assists and one steal in 38 minutes in Sunday’s win over the Rockets.

After going small in the first three games without Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets went to a conventional lineup on Sunday. Jordan moved into the starting lineup and was outstanding, shooting over 50 percent from the field and grabbing 15 rebounds. Given his performance in Houston, Jordan will be worth streaming in deep leagues for Monday’s game against the Bulls. The Nuggets have already ruled Jokic out for that game.

Jamal Murray, Christian Braun, Michael Porter Jr., Aaron Gordon and DeAndre Jordan will start Sunday’s game against the Rockets.

The Nuggets remain without Nikola Jokic (ankle), but they will employ a traditional center in the lineup after going small in Friday’s loss to Portland. Jordan moves into the starting lineup, pushing Russell Westbrook to the bench. Despite starting, the veteran center offers limited streaming value. Westbrook still has value, especially for fantasy managers punting turnovers.
