Jones has suffered a sprained MCL in his right knee on two occasions this season, with both occurring in games against the Celtics. His most recent injury occurred during Saturday’s loss at home, as Celtics guard Payton Pritchard landed on Jones’ leg while diving for a loose ball. Jones has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 sprain and will miss at least six weeks before being re-evaluated. John Collins will continue to start at power forward, and there may be additional minutes available to Kobe Sanders and Kobe Brown.

Jones injured his right knee during the fourth quarter of Saturday’s loss to the Celtics when Payton Pritchard landed on his leg while attempting to reel in a loose ball. Jones eventually limped back to the locker room after being helped off the floor, but he was still seen struggling to put weight on his right leg after the game. This is the same knee that he injured during a November 16 game in Boston, with the sprained right MCL sidelining him for nearly six weeks.

Sunday’s game was the first for Jones since November 16, as a sprained right MCL sidelined him. “Airplane Mode” was under a minutes restriction and John Collins (illness) was unavailable, so there isn’t too much to learn from Sunday’s game regarding how the power forward minutes will be divided in the future. Nicolas Batum (12/4/1/1 with four three-pointers) filled in for Collins and played 31 minutes against the Pistons. A lot more will be learned about the Clippers’ power forward rotation if Collins is available on Tuesday against the Kings.

Sidelined since November 16, Jones is off the injury report and ready to play on Sunday. Given the amount of time missed, he’ll likely come off the bench against the Pistons. Jones’ availability affects John Collins the most, with the veteran forward having moved into the starting lineup. Collins has played better recently, but we’ll see if that continues with Jones available.

In the aftermath of his sprained right MCL, Jones was given a recovery timeline that suggested he would not be able to return until sometime in January. While that could wind up being the case, Jones is ahead of schedule, according to his head coach. Lue confirmed last week that Jones was ahead of schedule, and Jones’ progression to 5-on-5 suggests he could be back in the lineup sooner rather than later. Jones’ availability affects John Collins the most, as he has been the replacement in the starting lineup.

Jones has been sidelined since he suffered a sprained MCL in his right knee during a November 16 game against the Celtics. At the time, it was announced that he would miss at least six weeks. However, Jones has been able to play some 1-on-1 and 3-on-3 recently, and his head coach considers the forward to be “ahead of schedule” in his recovery. John Collins has been the starting power forward in Jones’ absence, but that has not done much to bolster his fantasy value.

Jones sustained a sprained MCL in his right knee during Sunday’s game against the Celtics and will be re-evaluated by the Clippers’ medical staff in six weeks. Without Jones, Bogdon Bogdanovic moved into the lineup and is a candidate to take Jones’ place among the starters. Bogdanovic should be rostered in all formats going forward.

Jones was injured during the second quarter when Celtics wing Jaylen Brown fell into his right leg while diving for a loose ball. The Clippers forward was helped back to the locker room immediately after, not putting any weight on the injured leg. Bogdan Bogdanović replaced Jones in the lineup and should be considered a candidate to start if Jones is out for an extended period.

Jones Jr. went perfect from the field before finishing as one of the Clippers’ three best scorers on the evening. He repeatedly stepped into his three-point shots confidently and proceeded to knock each catch-and-shoot triple down one after the other. Jones Jr. eventually concluded with the most threes in a game that he’s made as a Clipper. The two produced stocks were the cherry on top for what was a productive night for him overall.

After providing limited value in his return from a groin injury on Friday, Jones was productive in his 28 minutes off the bench Sunday night. The 17 points are the most he’s scored in a game since February 4, when he hit that number in a loss to the Lakers. Jones, rostered in six percent of Yahoo! leagues, heads into Week 19 ranked well outside the top 150 in eight- and nine-cat formats. Even if the Clippers were to move him back into the starting lineup, there wouldn’t be much to gain from rostering Jones. Nicolas Batum remained in the starting five on Sunday and finished with nine points, four rebounds, one block and three three-pointers in 28 minutes.

Jones Jr. will be back after a three-game absence. Kris Dunn and Bogdan Bogdanovic have both been starting recently, but there is a chance that DJJ replaces one of them as part of the opening group. If Jones Jr. comes off the bench, he will likely take away minutes from both Dunn and Bogdanovic.

Wednesday’s game is the second in as many nights for the Clippers, who lost in Phoenix on Tuesday. Jones has been battling a groin injury and will miss a third-straight game. With Kawhi Leonard also out, Amir Coffey will likely move into the starting lineup. Coffey is worth streaming in deep leagues due to the Clippers’ crowded injury report.

Jones Jr. was available to play 29 minutes against the Lakers on Friday, but he will be sidelined on Sunday. However, Norman Powell (knee) is probable, so he should fill Jones Jr.'s spot in the starting unit, which means that Kris Dunn will also remain in the starting lineup.
