With Andrew Nembhard (back, neck) returning after a one-game absence, there were going to be fewer minutes available to Jones. However, his not playing at all was a bit surprising. Nembhard played 24 minutes and T.J. McConnell played 16, with Quenton Jackson getting 18 minutes off the bench. There was no room in the rotation for Jones, who has to appear in 17 of Indiana’s final 20 games to fully guarantee his contract for the 2026-27 season.

The Pacers won’t have Andrew Nembhard for Sunday’s game, as he sits out due to soreness in his neck and lower back. Jones returns to the starting lineup, and the rookie should play plenty. Toppin will make another start for Pascal Siakam, but he will be under a minutes limit for the rest of the season.

Jones is good to go after being listed as questionable for Sunday’s game. While T.J. McConnell (hamstring) is out, Andrew Nembhard is available to play. Even if Jones gets another start, his usage may decrease due to Nembhard playing.

Despite exiting Thursday’s loss to the Wizards after 14 minutes because of a lower back issue, Jones started and played 39 minutes the following night before departing for the same reason. If Andrew Nembhard (back) can play, the rookie will be asked to come off the bench. The availability of Nembhard and Jones also affects Quenton Jackson, who may be inactive if both can play.

After lower back soreness limited him to 14 minutes in Thursday’s loss to the Wizards, Jones was available and started Friday’s rematch. Interestingly, the rookie logged 39 minutes before gingerly walking back to the locker room late in the fourth quarter. The good news is that Jones recorded a season-high 11 assists, but the finish was disappointing for injury-related reasons. If Jones is available for Sunday’s game against the Mavericks, he’ll come off the bench if Andrew Nembhard (back) plays.

The Pacers won’t have Andrew Nembhard or Aaron Nesmith for Friday’s game, opening up two spots in the starting lineup. Jones and McConnell, who were initially listed as questionable, will fill the resulting voids. While neither player is a must-stream option, they’re worth a look in deep leagues due to the Pacers’ lack of perimeter depth.

Jones is good to go after lower back soreness sidelined him for the second half of Thursday’s loss to the Wizards. With Andrew Nembhard (back) doubtful, the rookie guard may be in line for additional playing time on Friday.

Jones did not return to Thursday’s game after halftime, as he was ruled out with lower back soreness. The rookie logged 14 minutes off the bench, and afterward, Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle said that he hopes Jones can play in Friday’s rematch. He should be considered questionable, with his absence potentially meaning more minutes for fellow rookie Taelon Peter if Jones can’t play.

Jones was ruled out before the start of the second half of Thursday’s contest, along with Aaron Nesmith. Before exiting with back soreness, Jones logged 14 minutes and added four points on 2-of-2 shooting. Should he miss any significant time, it shouldn’t have much of an impact on fantasy basketball.

With Wednesday’s game being the Pacers’ second in two nights, they’ve rotated the starting lineup. All five starters are new, with Walker back in the lineup after missing Tuesday’s win over the Knicks due to illness. He and Huff are the best streaming options, while Brown is making his first start as a Pacer.

With Andrew Nembhard unavailable, Jones made his first NBA start on Tuesday. And the second-round pick out of Marquette had a solid night overall, dishing out eight assists and committing just one turnover. While Jones isn’t at the point where he’s a must-stash player for the “silly season,” playing time is unlikely to be a concern, especially if the Pacers decide to rest Nembhard and T.J. McConnell occasionally over the next two months.

Furphy and Huff are the two holdovers from the lineup that started Monday’s loss to the Rockets. Jones, Sheppard and Walker move into the lineup, as the Pacers are without Andrew Nembhard, Aaron Nesmith and Pascal Siakam. Given the team’s lack of depth, all three will have ample opportunities to contribute, with Walker being the superior streamer.

Jones was a late addition to the injury report, but he will be able to suit up against New Orleans. However, his role has been minimal since he debuted last month, and there is no guarantee he sees the floor in this game.

Jones, who is dealing with a sprained right ankle, was absent from the Pacers’ initial injury report for Friday. The rookie guard’s availability won’t affect fantasy basketball, as he has not consistently played rotation minutes.

Jones, who has been out since early in the preseason with a lower back stress reaction, is officially available to make his NBA debut. Given the amount of time missed, the second-round pick out of Marquette will likely be under a minutes restriction. Jones won’t affect fantasy basketball now, but he may have “silly season” value if the Pacers can’t bounce back from their slow start.

Jones, who suffered a lower back injury during the early portion of training camp, could be available to make his official NBA debut on Friday. While his availability does not affect redraft leagues, the rookie guard’s performances and opportunities will be of interest to managers in dynasty leagues.
