Jokić picked up the slack for a short-handed Denver lineup with Jalen Pickett and Peyton Watson starting in place of an injured Jamal Murray (calf) and Aaron Gordon (hamstring), recording his third double-double in nine games this season — securing it with more than seven minutes left in the third quarter — as the Nuggets cruised to an easy win, leading by 13 heading into the final frame. The 30-year-old generational talent been the top overall fantasy performer so far, averaging 25 points, 13 rebounds, 12 assists, two steals, and one block through nine games. At this point, Jokić averaging a triple-double isn’t news — it’s just gravity doing what gravity does.

Jokić needed only 29 minutes of game action to nearly tally a second straight double-double. He fell one rebound and one assist short of the feat, but utilized extremely efficient shooting to land his sixth straight game with at least 20 points. The Warriors, without Stephen Curry and Al Horford available for this game, struggled to keep pace with the high-powered Nuggets’ offense, which featured six different players scoring in double figures, with Jokić leading the way. After a slower start to the season, he appears back in his MVP-like form.

Jokić is back with a triple-double after two games where he failed to record a triple-double. Those two games of course came after the 30-year-old center began the season with a streak of four consecutive games with a triple-double. Jokić is the top player in fantasy until someone takes the crown from him, though Victor Wembanyama and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander are worthy adversaries.

Jokić finished Monday’s victory three rebounds shy of a triple-double, but he still gave fantasy managers a robust stat line. The 34 points were a season-high, while the 14 assists were one shy of his high. The hot starts of Victor Wembanyama and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander mean that Jokić has serious competition for the top spot in fantasy basketball. That said, it will be tough to dethrone the Joker, given his consistent excellence.

Jokić started the year with a triple-double in each of the first four games of the season. That streak came to an end on Friday as the 30-year-old center had 21 points, 14 rebounds and nine assists against the Trail Blazers. Jokić missed it by one assist. Alas, he’ll have to wait until Monday against the Kings for his next chance at recording a triple-double.

Jokić has managed to record a triple-double in all four games so far this season. The 30-year-old center needed just 28 minutes, his fewest of the season so far, to get the triple-double in the blowout win. Jokić is still at the top of his game and the Pelicans were no match for him on Wednesday.

Jokic logged his highest-scoring game of the season en route to his third consecutive triple-double. The former Finals MVP was extremely efficient from the field and perfect from the free-throw line in what turned out to be his third game scoring at least 20 points thus far. His most impact as a scorer came in a 5-of-5 shooting first quarter that led him to 13 points in the opening frame. Jokic picked his spots from then on, while staying aggressive on the glass and as a facilitator. He finished as the team’s second leading scorer on the evening.

After an inefficient triple-double in the season opener, Jokic was far more efficient in this one. He only missed two shots. That’s easier to do when you only take eight shots. Jokic’s unique ability to completely dominate games without shooting often is incredible. He only took one shot in the first half, and he ended up recording the eighth triple-double of his career where he took eight or fewer shots. Only Draymond Green and Domantas Sabonis have more such games under their belt. Denver only has three games next week, starting in Minnesota on Monday.

Of course, Jokic started off the year with a triple-double. This was the second straight season that he recorded a triple-double in the season opener. It was a subpar shooting performance for him, and his struggles from beyond the arc (2-of-12) were certainly a factor. Obviously, there is no reason to be concerned about Jokic after one game. He should bounce back against the Suns on Saturday.

Jokic has been able to consistently stuff the stat sheet during the preseason, which should come as a no surprise. He should compete for the top spot in fantasy basketball once again this season and have a chance to add another MVP to his trophy case.

Joker did what he usually does and posted useful numbers across the stat sheet. Expect more of the same from the three-time MVP, who is fresh off a season in which he became the first center to ever average a triple-double.

While he did shoot the ball well on Monday, Jokić was uncharacteristically sloppy regarding “ball control.” He committed six turnovers on the night, a number he met or exceeded eight times last season. Given how productive the three-time MVP is, fantasy managers have little to worry about regarding Jokić. Of the eight games in which he recorded six turnovers in 2024-25, the Joker was responsible for five double-doubles and three triple-doubles. More concerning for Nuggets head coach David Adelman was that his team combined to commit 31 turnovers on Monday; Jokić will be fine.

It was another monster performance from Jokic, who has carried the load for Serbia throughout EuroBasket. However, it wasn’t enough for them to secure the win over Lauri Markkanen (29 points) and Finland. Serbia’s run ends in the Round of 16, which means Jokic will have some time to recover ahead of the regular season. That is a good thing, since managers will certainly be investing at least a top-two pick on him in every league.

Jokić and Alperen Şengün were locked in an epic individual battle as Serbia and Türkiye competed for the top spot in Group A at EuroBasket. The latter picked up the victory and the top spot, but Jokić still came through with a solid overall performance. With the Round of 16 on the horizon, the lifting stands to get heavier for The Joker, as Serbia is without Bogdan Bogdanović for the remainder of the tournament with a hamstring injury. While Serbia has enough help for its star center to win the event, the task is more challenging with Bogdanović sidelined.

Jokic is typically only this aggressive offensively when he needs to be, and with this matchup being the closest of EuroBasket so far for Serbia, it isn’t surprising that he was unstoppable, especially with his teammates not providing much help. Serbia moves to 3-0 in the tournament, and they’ll go as far as Jokic takes them. More performances like this will make them difficult to beat.

Jokic led all scorers and rebounders in Serbia’s double-digit win, and he posted a second straight double-double. Expect Joker to continue pacing his team in a number of categories throughout Eurobasket 2025 play.

In typical Jokic fashion, he only took four shots during his 23 minutes because of how lopsided the score was; he isn’t one to force shots when he doesn’t need to. Jokic will continue to be the star of the show throughout EuroBasket, which should lead to better performances in the box score, assuming Serbia’s future games are closer.

Selected by the Heat with the 43rd pick in the 2024 draft, Djurišić’s draft rights were included in a three-team deal between Miami, Atlanta and Houston. The 21-year-old center saw all of his game time in the G League last season, appearing in 32 games for Atlanta’s affiliate. Djurišić’s contract includes a $1.27 million guarantee for the 2025-26 season, and he’ll look to provide additional depth behind Kristaps Porzingis and Onyeka Okongwu.

There’s no need to panic and get out the trade machine. Delaying an extension until next summer could allow him to make roughly an extra $80 million. This isn’t Jokic giving Denver an ultimatum to put more talent around him or he’s going to ask out; it’s simply a wise financial decision.

Jokic and the Nuggets ran out of gas against one of the NBA’s deepest teams, with things turning in the second quarter. Leading by five entering the period, Denver was outscored by a 39-20 margin, thanks partially to Oklahoma City’s strategy adjustment. They went small, using Alex Caruso on Jokic, and the move worked. While some may argue that the Thunder guard was allowed to be a bit more physical than usual, it’s on the three-time MVP to adjust. It was a disappointing end for The Joker, who remained the top option in fantasy basketball this season. While Victor Wembanyama (if healthy) and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will also deserve consideration for the top pick in redraft leagues, Jokic should be the preferred option for many fantasy managers.

Unsurprisingly, Jokic was dominant to help keep Denver’s season alive. His 44-point effort in Game 5 wasn’t enough, and while he didn’t match that scoring total in this game, he was still able to have a big night. He also finally got past the six-assist mark, which he had done three times this series without surpassing it. That means that Jokic finally got some help from his teammates. Game 7 will be on Sunday in OKC. Expect Jokic to have a monster performance.

Jokic bounced back in a big way on Tuesday after a few inefficient shooting performances in Games 2, 3 and 4. The three-time MVP had his fingerprints all over the game on the offensive side, regaining his shooting touch and being particularly dangerous from beyond the arc. He made some contributions as a passer, but still hasn’t found a way to dominate in this series as a facilitator, not yet tallying more than six assists in any game. Even with the Nuggets receiving the inevitable bounce-back game for Jokic, it wasn’t enough for them to take control of the series. Denver will need everything it can get from Jokic in Thursday’s Game 6 if it hopes to extend the season.

It was still another rough shooting performance from Jokic, but he was much better from beyond the arc after shooting 0-for-10 in Game 3. He hit a pair of triples on Sunday, including one at the buzzer at the end of the first half. He also was more efficient with the ball in his hands in this game after turning it over eight times in Game 3. Unfortunately, none of that was enough to get the win. The series is now tied at two games each, with two of the next three games in Oklahoma City. Jokic will need to bring back his magic from Game 1 if Denver is to win this series.

While Jokic’s final stat line was solid, it does not tell the complete story of his performance. Not only was the three-time MVP responsible for eight turnovers, but he shot 0-of-10 from beyond the arc. The good news for Jokic is that three of his teammates scored at least 20 points, picking up the slack as Denver pulled away in overtime. While Oklahoma City defended The Joker well, he isn’t going to have nights like Friday (or Wednesday’s loss in Game 2) very often. He’ll look to extend Denver’s series lead when they host the Thunder in Game 4 on Sunday.

This was Jokic’s worst performance of the postseason, and it came to an end in the third quarter. He fouled out with 1:17 left in the third, which brought his night to a close after he played 32 minutes. OKC was up 41 points when Jokic fouled out, so his night may have been close to over anyway. Jokic dominated Game 1, and the Thunder adjusted. Denver will need other players to step up if they want to have a chance of winning this series, but Jokic will also need to be better than he was in this game.

Jokic may have recorded seven turnovers on Monday, but he still did something few have done in postseason history. He’s the fourth player to record a stat line of at least 40 points, 20 rebounds and five assists, joining Giannis Antetokounmpo, Shaquille O’Neal and Wilt Chamberlain. Few teams have an answer for the three-time MVP, so there’s little shame in giving up a gaudy stat line to The Joker. He and the Nuggets will look to take a 2-0 series lead on Wednesday.

After recording three triple-doubles and two double-doubles in the first five games of this series, Jokic finished Game 6 with neither. While he did record a complete stat line, the Clippers were able to keep the three-time MVP in check with their season on the line. Also, Jokic’s four turnovers were the most in a game for him since Game 2, when he was responsible for seven in another defeat. Jokic and the Nuggets earned home court for a potential Game 7, and they’ll look to take advantage on Saturday night.

The three-time NBA MVP had a relatively quiet game by his standards but still came away with his third triple-double of the series. Jokic struggled with shooting efficiency, and his scoring output was the lowest of the series. Yet, his points were not as necessary in this game, given how well the rest of the Nuggets shot the ball. Nevertheless, Jokic will be in line for another big performance on Thursday when the Nuggets face the Clippers in Game 6.

With his team facing a 3-1 deficit, Jokic was dominant in Saturday’s Game 4 victory. While he finished two assists shy of a triple-double, the Nuggets center recorded the fourth 30/20 game of his postseason career. While Jokic being the focal point offensively is unsurprising, he’s either scored or assisted on a staggering 55.5 percent of the Nuggets’ points in this series. With the series now tied at two games apiece, the Nuggets host Game 5 on Tuesday.

Jokic recorded another triple-double on Thursday, his second of the series, but the Nuggets have lost both games. While Kawhi Leonard’s excellence was a key factor in the Game 2 defeat, Denver’s supporting cast failed to show up in Game 3. With Jokic having to deal with Ivica Zubac for most of the night, Denver’s “others” must be better if they’re to win the series. Game 4 is on Saturday afternoon, with the Nuggets aiming to avoid a 3-1 deficit.
