Inactive for Thursday’s loss to the Wizards, Jackson was back in the rotation on Friday. And he took advantage of the opportunity, shooting over 50 percent from the field, and the Pacers guard has scored at least 19 points in three of his last four appearances. The issue for fantasy managers is that Jackson isn’t guaranteed to be active every night as he’s still on a two-way contract. If Andrew Nembhard (back) remains out on Sunday and Jackson is active, deep-league managers should consider streaming him.

Active after a two-game absence, Jackson was inserted into the starting lineup on Tuesday due to Johnny Furphy’s season-ending knee injury. The two-way contract guard took advantage of his opportunity, shooting 4-of-6 from beyond the arc. In addition to the points and three-pointers, Jackson provided solid value in the rebound and assist categories as part of a complete stat line. With the Pacers playing Brooklyn on Wednesday, they’ll likely be shorthanded. If Jackson is active, he’ll be worth streaming if Pascal Siakam and Andrew Nembhard sit.

The Pacers have made two changes to their starting lineup, one necessitated by injury. Jackson steps into the void left by Johnny Furphy, who suffered a torn ACL during Sunday’s loss to the Raptors. The other change is Potter, who is inserted into the lineup at Jay Huff’s expense.

With Andrew Nembhard (back) unavailable, Jackson wasn’t moved into the starting lineup on Tuesday, but that didn’t keep him from providing solid streaming value. The two-way contract guard only missed one shot from the field, with the 24 points being one shy of his season and career-highs. Jackson has appeared in 24 games, so he’s still got some room to go before hitting the 50-game limit that the NBA imposes on two-way players.

Jackson was held out of Friday’s win over the Thunder, with perimeter starters Andrew Nembhard, Aaron Nesmith and Johnny Furphy all logging at least 33 minutes. That trio will likely take on a similar workload if Jackson remains out.

Jackson exited early on Wednesday and will remain out for this game. Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said he could return to play against the Hawks on Monday, but for at least this game, Ben Sheppard should see a bump in minutes off the bench.

Jackson exited early from Wednesday’s game, which limited him to just six minutes. He has been playing larger reserve role recently, so if he remains out for this game, Ben Sheppard should see a bump in minutes.

Jackson played six minutes off the bench before exiting with a sore right ankle. While his absence won’t affect fantasy basketball, it does free up minutes for some of the Pacers’ other reserves.

The Pacers won’t have Andrew Nembhard, Aaron Nesmith or Pascal Siakam for Saturday’s game, opening three spots in the starting lineup. Jackson, Sheppard and Walker will fill the resulting voids, and they’re worth a roll of the dice given the team’s injuries.

Nembhard is back after a one-game absence, but his return does not push Jackson to the bench. Instead, Jay Huff heads to the bench, with Siakam serving as a small-ball center. Huff will remain in the rotation, but his value takes a hit with the move to the bench.

The Pacers won’t have Andrew Nembhard for Thursday’s game, as he has been sidelined with lower back tightness. Jackson will fill the resulting void in the starting lineup, raising his ceiling. However, with T.J. McConnell off the bench, fantasy managers can leave Jackson on the waiver wire.

Ethan Thompson was announced as a starter for Thursday’s game, but the Pacers pulled a switch just before tipoff, going with Jackson instead. While he was solid in his fourth start of the season and first since November 3, Jackson’s production isn’t going to set the fantasy basketball world ablaze. Thompson only played four minutes off the bench, but that changes nothing regarding his fantasy value. Neither player should be rostered in redraft leagues.

Jackson strained his right hamstring during a November 3 game against the Bucks and has not been available since. That may change on Friday, with Ethan Thompson potentially losing out on playing time. However, neither he nor Jackson moves the needle in fantasy.

Jackson injured his hamstring during Monday’s loss to the Bucks and was already ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Nets. Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle said during his pregame availability that Jackson will also miss the team’s upcoming four-game road trip, and possibly even more time after that. Due to the Pacers’ many injuries on the perimeter, Aaron Nesmith and Jarace Walker are the players who should be targeted on waiver wires.

Add another guard to the Pacers’ lengthy injury report. Jackson strained his right hamstring during Monday’s loss to the Bucks, and fantasy managers should plan for a multi-game absence. Ben Sheppard is the most likely option to start, meaning Pascal Siakam will have more time on the ball. RayJ Dennis (back) is probable for Wednesday, so he and Taelon Peter are in line to provide additional depth at point guard.

The injuries just keep piling up for Indiana. Jackson was questionable to return but didn’t end up checking back into the game. If he remains out against the Nets on Wednesday, there will be an open spot in the starting lineup. Ben Sheppard, RayJ Dennis and Taelon Peter are all candidates to fill the role and take on more minutes.

Due to the Pacers’ many injuries, players who would have been an afterthought receive legitimate opportunities to contribute. Jackson is one of them, with Saturday’s start being his second in as many nights. And he put on a show, recording his first double-double and notching a career-high point total. Jackson’s biggest shot was his last, as his bank shot with 5.2 seconds remaining extended Indiana’s lead to five. The Pacers play four games during Week 3, and Jackson is worth adding in deep leagues due to the injuries.

After missing Indiana’s first two games due to a hamstring injury suffered during the preseason, Jackson was ramped up gradually ahead of Friday’s game. While he did start, Jackson only played 22 minutes. However, the production was encouraging, and he’s worth streaming in deep leagues until Andrew Nembhard or T.J. McConnell is cleared to return. Ben Sheppard, who was in the starting lineup, played 29 minutes off the bench and finished with four points (2-of-9 FGs), seven rebounds and one assist. He’s no longer worth the streaming risk in redraft leagues.

After starting Ben Sheppard for the last few games, Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle has decided to go with Quenton Jackson, a legitimate point guard. Under normal circumstances, he would not be a must-stream player. However, given the Pacers’ many injuries, Jackson is worth a roll of the dice in deep leagues.

Jackson, who injured his hamstring during the preseason, is available to see his first action of the regular season. Given how depleted the Pacers’ guard rotation is, he’ll likely play rotation minutes. However, Indiana may exercise caution with Jackson’s workload, so Ben Sheppard should remain in the starting lineup.

Decimated in the backcourt by injuries, the Pacers received some good news Sunday afternoon. Jackson is on track to make his season debut after missing the first two games, and his return would come at an excellent time for the Pacers. Fantasy managers should not expect too much from Jackson on Sunday, but he’ll have value moving forward due to the current state of Indiana’s backcourt.

With Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles) out for the season and T.J. McConnell (hamstring) out until sometime next month, there may have been a chance for Jackson to earn a few minutes off the bench. Unfortunately, a strained right hamstring has sidelined him. Jackson’s absence does not impact fantasy basketball.

Still on a two-way contract, Jackson is one of the players in Las Vegas hoping to improve his standing and potentially earn a standard deal if possible. He’s in a good situation with the Pacers, who will be without Tyrese Haliburton for the 2025-26 season as he recovers from a ruptured Achilles tendon. Jackson appeared in 28 games for the Pacers last season, his third in the NBA. There’s no need to consider him for fantasy drafts right now, but there may come a point when Jackson is allowed to earn credible playing time.

Jackson had a short stretch as a starter in November, but he has spent most of the year on the bench or in the G League. However, he got the chance to take on extra minutes in the regular season finale and took advantage of his opportunity. The 26-year-old went undrafted in 2022 and seems to have finally found a home with the Pacers, though his role isn’t a friendly one for fantasy basketball. He won’t be part of the team’s rotation during the playoffs.
