ESPN’s Shams Charania reports the Nuggets signed Tim Hardaway Jr. to a one-year deal.

On Tuesday, Denver added another shooter to its roster, reportedly signing Hardaway to a one-year deal. In his first and only season with the Pistons, the veteran guard was a fixture in the starting lineup. Making 77 appearances, all starts, Hardaway averaged 11.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 2.2 three-pointers per game, shooting nearly 37 percent from three. THJ’s scoring average decreased compared to his 2023-24 production with the Mavericks, but he’s a capable shooter who should provide the Nuggets with solid value off the bench.

Tim Hardaway Jr. shot 7-of-13 from the field and 3-of-3 from the foul line in Thursday’s Game 3 loss to the Knicks, scoring 24 points with two rebounds, one assist and seven three-pointers in 36 minutes.

This series has been a roller coaster of sorts for Hardaway, who’s facing the franchise that selected him in the first round of the 2013 draft. After scoring 19 points in Game 1, he was scoreless on 0-of-8 shooting in Monday’s Game 2 victory. Returning home worked wonders for Hardaway, even if his performance was not part of a Pistons’ victory. Inconsistent shooting was an issue for him throughout the regular season, so it would be unsurprising if THJ struggled in Game 4 on Sunday. That said, the Pistons need him to be at his best if they’re to even the series.

Tim Hardaway Jr. shot 7-of-13 from the field and 2-of-3 from the foul line in Saturday’s Game 1 loss to the Knicks, tallying 19 points, two rebounds, one assist, one steal and three three-pointers in 28 minutes.

As was the case for most of the regular season, Hardaway provided points and three-pointers, and not much else. That said, this was an encouraging performance, given how he ended the regular season. In Detroit’s final three games, Hardaway totaled 19 points on 7-of-21 shooting. With the defensive attention the Knicks have devoted to Cade Cunningham, there will be opportunities for Hardaway to put up points playing off the ball. He and the Pistons will look to even the series when they face the Knicks in Game 2 on Monday.

Tim Hardaway Jr. had 23 points (8-of-14 FGs), three rebounds, one steal and five three-pointers against the Raptors on Friday.

Hardaway Jr. has now had back-to-back games with at least 23 points. With Cade Cunningham (calf) and Tobias Harris (Achilles) out of the lineup, there’s plenty of opportunities for the 33-year-old shooting guard these days. Hardaway Jr. was efficient as he only took 14 shots, but Malik Beasley still might have more potential as he led the Pistons with 20 shot attempts Friday.

Tim Hardaway Jr. had 23 points (8-of-14 FGs), three rebounds, three assists and five three-pointers against the Thunder on Wednesday.

Hardaway Jr. went off for 23 points and five three-pointers as the Pistons lost by 16 to the Thunder. We’ve seen this movie before as the 33-year-old shooting guard is certainly capable of big games but tends not to sustain this level of production. He might have the opportunity if Tobias Harris, who left Wednesday’s game against the Thunder with an Achilles injury, misses more time. In that case, Malik Beasley would return to the starting lineup, and he’s arguably better than Hardaway in a similar role.

Tim Hardaway Jr. accounted for 20 points (5-of-14 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), four rebounds, one steal, one block and three three-pointers in 30 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Timberwolves.

Hardaway has reached double figures in three straight and four of his last five outings. And with the veteran guard scoring 52 points in his last two outings, this qualifies as one of THJ’s most productive stretches of the season. While Hardaway has offered 12th-round value in nine-act formats over the past two weeks, Malik Beasley remains the superior choice for fantasy managers mining the Pistons roster for three-pointers.

Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 32 points in Friday’s win over the Cavs, adding a rebound, three assists and seven three-pointers across 33 minutes.

Hardaway Jr. caught fire in this one, hitting 10-of-18 shots from the floor and 7-of-11 from beyond the arc. The points represent a new season high, and the three-pointers tie his season-best mark. THJ led the Pistons in scoring and finished as one of seven Detroit players to score in double figures. His offense runs hot and cold, so don’t expect huge scoring performances like this from him every night.

Tim Hardaway Jr. accounted for 12 points (4-of-7 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), two rebounds, four assists and one three-pointer in 25 minutes in Tuesday’s win over the Spurs.

Hardaway returned to the Pistons lineup on Tuesday after sitting out Sunday’s win over the Hornets. While he has reached double figures in six of his last eight appearances, the production has been “feast or famine” for those who have THJ rostered. Over the past three weeks, Hardaway’s production placed him just inside the top 300 in eight- and nine-cat formats. Malik Beasley, who has been a superior fantasy option despite coming off the bench most nights, finished Tuesday’s win with 13 points, three rebounds, three assists and two three-pointers in 25 minutes.

Tim Hardaway Jr. (ankle) is available for Tuesday’s game against the Spurs.

Hardaway is back after a one-game absence. His return means Malik Beasley will head back to the bench, where his fantasy value takes a slight hit. However, Beasley has been productive enough to merit being rostered in some 12-team leagues.

    Injury

Tim Hardaway Jr. (ankle) is out against the Pelicans on Sunday.

Hardaway sprained his ankle during Friday’s loss to the Mavericks. His absence means a likely move into the starting lineup for Malik Beasley, who boasts a higher fantasy ceiling. Despite coming off the bench, he has been a superior fantasy option to Hardaway throughout the season.

    Injury

Tim Hardaway Jr. (ankle) will not return to Friday’s game against the Mavericks.

THJ injured his ankle in the second quarter, and it will keep him sidelined for the second half of Friday’s game. Malik Beasley should start the second half in his place and provide plenty of three-pointers.
