Jackson-Davis made the most of his debut appearance for the Raptors, recording a double-double. While 16 minutes aren’t a big deal for most players, TJD met or exceeded that number just 14 times with the Warriors this season before being traded. The issue moving forward is that the Raptors were shorthanded on Sunday: Jakob Poeltl (back) was out, and Collin Murray-Boyles left the game in the first half with a thumb injury. While Jackson-Davis played well, fantasy managers should not overreact.

The 57th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, Jackson-Davis’ playing time decreased in each of his three seasons with the Warriors. He was essentially passed in the rotation by Quinten Post, a second-round pick in the 2024 draft. Jackson-Davis appeared in 36 games this season, averaging 4.2 points and 3.1 rebounds in 11.1 minutes. This transaction is unlikely to affect fantasy basketball, as the Raptors added a frontcourt player in last summer’s draft lottery (Collin Murray-Boyles) and in free agency (Sandro Mamukelashvili). Add in Jakob Poeltl, provided his lower back issues subside, and Jackson-Davis may struggle to carve out a role for himself in Toronto.

As expected, Jackson-Davis will suit up against OKC. With Draymond Green (rest) sidelined, TJD may take on extra minutes, but he won’t be worth streaming.

Despite dealing with a case of right patellar tendinitis, Jackson-Davis is on track to play Friday night. While there may be a few more minutes available with Draymond Green (rest) out, TJD is unlikely to provide the production needed to achieve fantasy relevance.

Jackson-Davis was a late addition to the injury report, but he will play through the illness. He’ll continue to occupy a role off the bench that hasn’t been large enough for him to make a fantasy impact this season.

Jackson-Davis is a late addition to the injury report, and there is a chance he misses this game. Quinten Post and Al Horford should take on extra minutes if Jackson-Davis is unavailable.

Jackson-Davis was initially listed as probable for Friday’s game, so his availability is not a surprise. With Draymond Green and Al Horford out, there may be rotation minutes available to the former second-round pick. However, he is not worth the risk in most fantasy leagues.

Jackson-Davis most recently played 22 minutes in Sunday’s win over the Bulls, a game in which the Warriors were without Draymond Green and Al Horford. With Horford absent from the injury report for Friday’s game, the minutes that Jackson-Davis needs to affect fantasy basketball aren’t likely to be there.

Jackson-Davis will be available to take on some rotation minutes, especially with Jimmy Butler III (knee) unavailable. However, TJD is not guaranteed to play the minutes needed to impact fantasy basketball, so he can be left on the waiver wire in most leagues.

TJD joins Al Horford (sciatica) and Quinten Post (ankle) as questionable. With Draymond Green healthy, Jackson-Davis will likely only play a large role if both Horford and Post are sidelined, though if he does, he won’t be worth streaming.

Even when he’s healthy, TJD’s role has been too inconsistent for him to make any real impact in fantasy basketball. His absence means Quinten Post will take on a few extra minutes as the only backup center.

Jackson-Davis was a late scratch for Saturday’s win over the Pelicans, with the Warriors ruling him out not long before the scheduled tip time. If he can play on Tuesday, there may be a few minutes available, as Al Horford (sciatica) is doubtful. However, that isn’t enough to make Jackson-Davis a player worth rostering.

TJD was never on the initial injury report, but he has been ruled out about an hour before tip-off. However, his role has been minimal this season. His absence will likely open up a few extra minutes for Quinten Post.

The Warriors have had to shuffle their lineup for Game 2 and now Game 3 with Stephen Curry out with a hamstring injury. In Game 2, the Warriors went with a bigger lineup and inserted Quinten Post in with the starters. Post played just three minutes as the Warriors fell behind early and lost by 24. Golden State will go with Jackson-Davis, who played 19 minutes off the bench in Game 2, in the starting lineup for Game 3. Jonathan Kuminga played the most minutes off the bench in Game 2 with 26 and should figure prominently in the Warriors plans again Saturday.

TJD will be available to play after a two-game absence, but even when he has been active recently, he hasn’t been a large part of Golden State’s rotation. He hasn’t played 10 minutes in a game since January.

Jackson-Davis has a chance to return from a two-game absence, though his return won’t have a major impact on fantasy basketball. Draymond Green, Quinten Post and Kevon Looney are all ahead of TJD in the frontcourt pecking order.
