It has been over a month since Kuminga last suited up, and when he did, it was for the Warriors. In his first game with Atlanta, it appears Golden State gave up on him too quickly. Sure, it’s only one game, but he was incredible in his debut. Plus, Jalen Johnson (hip) exited in the first quarter. Kuminga didn’t start the second half, but he should take on extended minutes if Johnson ends up remaining sidelined more than just the end of this game.

Kuminga has been sidelined since January, so this will be his first time suiting up since Golden State sent him to Atlanta at the trade deadline. It’s unclear what his role will look like, but he should take minutes away from Zaccharie Risacher and Mouhamed Gueye.

While Kuminga isn’t guaranteed to return on Tuesday against the Wizards given his questionable listing, he should return to the court sometime soon. The Hawks said the 23-year-old power forward would be re-evaluated this week. Kuminga will likely require a minutes ramp up after missing so much time.

It’s unclear what Kuminga’s role will be once he’s cleared to play, but fantasy managers will have to stash him in an IL spot until he’s back on the court. Due to his extensive time off, Kuminga will likely require time to ramp up.

Kuminga sustained a bone bruise to his left knee while he was still with the Warriors. The injury occurred in the January 22 game against the Mavericks. The Hawks say the 23-year-old power forward will be sidelined through the All-Star break before being re-evaluated. Fans will have to wait until then before getting their first glimpse of Kuminga in an Atlanta uniform.

After a contentious contract negotiation during the offseason, Kuminga was essentially on borrowed time in the Bay Area. He requested to be traded almost immediately after becoming eligible to be moved on January 15, and the athletic forward gets his wish the night before the trade deadline. Kuminga, who has been out with a knee injury, averaged 12.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 0.9 three-pointers in 23.8 minutes in 20 appearances. With the Hawks’ rotation including Jalen Johnson, Zaccharie Risacher and Dyson Daniels, getting the minutes he desires to showcase himself may not be there for Kuminga. But he is worth watching.

Kuminga injured his left knee and left ankle during Thursday’s loss to the Mavericks. If there’s a positive, it’s that the hyperextension of his left knee did not cause any ligament damage. The Warriors will announce a timeline for return at a later date, so fantasy managers should consider Kuminga to be out indefinitely.

Kuminga injured his knee and ankle on Thursday, which forced an early exit. He was reportedly set to undergo an MRI on Friday, but there hasn’t been any further reporting about a potential timetable. For now, he won’t be available against Minnesota, which should mean more minutes for Will Richard.

Kuminga exited Thursday’s loss to the Mavericks during the first half after injuring his left knee on a drive to the basket. However, according to Stein, the injury also affected Kuminga’s left ankle. While his role was expanding due to Jimmy Butler’s season-ending knee injury, the Warriors were also continuing to explore trade possibilities. Thursday’s injury will significantly impact how the Warriors approach the trade deadline, especially if Kuminga is out for an extended period.

Kuminga appeared to injure his left leg on a drive to the basket during the second quarter of Thursday’s game. While he remained in the contest after shooting his free throws, the Warriors’ forward was ruled out just before the start of the third quarter. Kuminga finished with 10 points (3-of-3 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), one rebound, two assists and two steals.

There weren’t many who believed Warriors head coach Steve Kerr when he said after Monday’s win over the Heat that he could turn to Kuminga if need be, with Jimmy Butler III (knee) done for the season. Well, Kuminga checked into Tuesday’s game at the start of the second quarter and provided excellent contributions in his 21 minutes. The Warriors forward scored 12 points in the third quarter alone, helping make the game somewhat competitive after Golden State fell behind by 29. With Kuminga get legitimate chances to contribute? Or will this be a “shop window” phase in which the team looks to boost his trade value ahead of the February 5 deadline? Regardless of the answer, Kuminga getting the chance to play is huge after being shelved for 16 straight.

Kuminga’s relationship with the Warriors seemed to sour over the summer and only got worse when Warriors coach Steve Kerr benched the 23-year-old after the first 12 games of the season. Kuminga hasn’t played in the last 13 games despite having a two-year, $46.8 million contract. Part of that contract is a $24.3 million team option for next season, which could factor into his trade market, but the wing is finally eligible to be traded on Thursday, so a deal might come together quickly.

Kuminga, a late scratch for Friday’s loss to the Thunder, is available to play on Saturday. However, there’s no guarantee that he actually sees action, as the forward has not been in the rotation recently. Don’t slot Kuminga into your lineups.

Kuminga was a late addition to the Warriors’ injury report ahead of Friday’s loss to the Thunder, missing out on a likely increase to his usage with Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler sidelined. Even if Kuminga is available on Saturday, his situation feels like a countdown to January 15, when he would be eligible to be traded after agreeing to a two-year deal just before the start of the season.

Kuminga did not play in Saturday’s win over the Suns. Not long after it was reported that he’s expected to play on Monday, the forward’s name was officially removed from the injury report. Unless Kuminga can lock down a consistent role, there’s no reason to roster him in most fantasy leagues.

Kuminga didn’t make the initial injury report, but there is now a chance he isn’t available to suit up. He had been out of the rotation for a few games, but Steve Kerr played him about 10 minutes in the Warriors’ last outing. In other words, Kuminga’s status won’t impact Golden State’s rotation.

Kuminga is available after being questionable, giving the Warriors some much-needed depth on the wing. With Jimmy Butler III unavailable, there may be additional opportunities available to Kuminga. However, because of the knee injury that sidelined him for multiple games, the Warriors may take a conservative approach to Kuminga’s playing time.

Since returning from a seven-game absence due to a bilateral knee issue, Kuminga has played 19 and 16 minutes off the bench. Now, he’s dealing with right ankle soreness. If he isn’t able to suit up against Philly, Moses Moody and Buddy Hield should see a bump in minutes.

After missing seven games with bilateral patellar tendinitis, Kuminga was brought off the bench on Saturday. He had a solid night shooting the basketball, but this may be a spot where his fantasy value is limited. The Warriors limited Kuminga to 19 minutes, and given the amount of time missed, that may be where he stays for the foreseeable future. Golden State plays four games in Week 7, starting with the Thunder on Tuesday.

Kerr said Kuminga is feeling better, and there is certainly a chance he makes a return to the lineup after a seven-game absence. Moses Moody has been starting in his place, but Kerr has been known to switch up his lineups and ride the hot hand. Kuminga will play a significant role when he’s back, but there’s no guarantee he’ll be back in the starting unit.

Kuminga has missed Golden State’s last five games with bilateral patellar tendinitis. Following Sunday’s practice, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said the forward wasn’t moving well, and he’s unsure when Kuminga will be able to play. The team may get imaging on Kuminga’s knees, so fantasy managers should consider him out indefinitely until the Warriors provide further clarity. Moses Moody has been the replacement in the starting lineup, and he’s worth a look in deeper leagues.

Friday’s game will be the fifth that Kuminga has missed with bilateral patellar tendinitis. Moses Moody has been a fixture in the starting lineup during this stretch, and that will remain the case against the Trail Blazers. Moody is worth streaming in deeper leagues, even with Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler on track to play.

Kuminga will miss a fourth consecutive game with bilateral patellar tendinitis. Moses Moody has been his replacement in the starting lineup and should retain that role until Kuminga returns. The offensive production has been a bit inconsistent, but Moody did go off for 32 points in Sunday’s win over the Pelicans. He’s worth the streaming risk in deep leagues.
