Kuzma came off the bench and played 32 minutes against the Mavericks on Monday. The 30-year-old small forward is seeing additional minutes with Taurean Prince (neck) out for the foreseeable future. Kuzma was the main support for Giannis Antetokounmpo offensively against the Mavericks and that’s a role he could occupy more despite averaging 12.4 points per game so far.

Kuzma did most of his damage in the second half with Milwaukee trailing by a couple touchdowns. However, fantasy managers certainly won’t mind as he reached double digits off the bench for the fourth consecutive contest. The Bucks have a couple days off to regroup before facing the Bulls at home on Friday evening.

After scoring 22 points off the bench in the Bucks’ last game, Kuzma was able to have another decent performance against Indiana. The discouraging part is that he only played 16 minutes. Kuzma struggled during the second half of last season after being sent to the Bucks, though he was part of the starting lineup. Now, he’s come off the bench in almost every game this season. He’s playing better, but if he isn’t getting the opportunity, his upside is limited.

While Kuzma is shooting 55 percent from the field this season, his limited rebounding and defensive production lower his fantasy ceiling considerably. However, he can come through with the occasional big scoring night, which happened on Saturday. Spanning the third and fourth quarters, Kuzma went on a run in which he scored 16 straight Bucks points. However, he didn’t provide much beyond the points and percentages, remaining a player only worthy of a look in deep leagues.

Kuzma was tabbed to replace Giannis Antetokounmpo in the Bucks’ starting lineup on Thursday, and he provided solid value in rebounds and assists. Unfortunately, Kuzma didn’t score much, but that had more to do with Ryan Rollins’ explosion than the forward struggling. With the Bucks returning to action on Saturday against the Kings, Giannis could be back on the floor. If so, there won’t be much of a need to hold onto Kuzma in most leagues.

The Bucks are without Giannis Antetokounmpo for Thursday’s game, as he is dealing with a sore knee. Kuzma, who struggled as a starter last season after being acquired at the February trade deadline, will fill the resulting void. While the opportunity raises his fantasy ceiling, Kuzma can be inefficient when given a high-usage role.

Kuz will return to the court following a one-game absence, which means Bobby Portis and Taurean Prince should see reduced roles against New York.

Kuzma missed Sunday’s game after an early exit from Friday’s win over the Raptors. If he remains out, Bobby Portis and Taurean Prince will take on larger reserve roles. Prince played 31 minutes to Portis’ 23 on Sunday.

A few hours after his status was downgraded to doubtful, Kuzma is officially out for Sunday’s game. More will be required of fellow reserves, most notably Bobby Portis and Taurean Prince, with the former being the superior option in fantasy leagues.

Initially questionable for Sunday’s game with a sprained left ankle, Kuzma’s status has been downgraded. His likely absence should result in more minutes for fellow reserves Bobby Portis and Taurean Prince. While Portis is the superior option for fantasy managers, Prince can be helpful for those needing three-pointers and steals.

Kuzma exited early from Friday’s win over the Raptors with an ankle injury, but there is a chance he plays on Sunday. If he doesn’t, Bobby Portis and Taurean Prince will take on a larger role in his place.

If Kuzma ends up missing more than just the end of this game against Toronto, Bobby Portis and Taurean Prince will take on a few extra minutes to make up for Kuzma’s absence, with Portis being the better streaming option.

Kuzma came off the bench Wednesday night, and that role may suit him better than being with the starters. The veteran forward finished the 133-120 victory with a solid stat line, shooting 50 percent from the field. Kuzma missed both of his three-point attempts, but the overall efficiency was there. AJ Green (11/2/1 with three three-pointers) played 27 minutes, and his superior shooting will likely keep him in the starting lineup. However, that may not be bad for Kuzma, who hasn’t provided much fantasy value in recent years.

Kuzma’s historically poor Game 1 performance made plenty of rounds on social media over the last few days, but he was more productive in Game 2. He still wasn’t great, but after getting 22 minutes of cardio in Game 1’s 19-point loss, Kuzma was able to chip in some stats on Tuesday. Way to go Kuz! With the series shifting to Milwaukee for Game 3 on Friday, Kuzma will look to be the player that the Bucks were hoping he’d be when they traded for him at the deadline. The last time he played a game in Milwaukee was the regular season finale; he had 22 points in the first quarter before being shut down for the remainder of that game. We’ll see if he can tap back into that shooting prowess.

The story of Game 1 for the Bucks was the supporting cast letting down Giannis Antetokounmpo with Damian Lillard sidelined. No one was a bigger letdown than Kuzma, the Bucks’ trade deadline acquisition, who failed to record any stats in his 22 minutes. Kuzma was a living embodiment of the Tony Snell meme in Game 1 as the Bucks lost by nine. He’ll look to turn things around over the rest of the series, though overall he certainly hasn’t been as impactful as the Bucks imagined when he was acquired.

Kuzma was the lone starter on the court for Sunday’s regular-season finale and did not get cheated as he went on a heater for a quarter. He was back in street clothes for the second half. While he’s had his moments since joining the Bucks at the February trade deadline, Kuzma has not been as impactful as some may have hoped. Milwaukee will need a player closer to the one they saw on Sunday if they’re to take down the Pacers in the first round.

Kuz and Rollins are the only typical starters that are expected to be available for Milwaukee against Detroit. It’s unclear how much they will play, but they should continue to start to close out the regular season. Kuzma may have to spend time at center with both Brook Lopez and Bobby Portis sidelined.

Kuzma hasn’t had a productive season, and a change of scenery didn’t do much to help that. However, he has had some solid performances recently and was able to contribute a full stat line in Thursday’s win. Kuzma has averaged 18.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, three assists, 1.3 blocks and 2.3 threes per game while shooting 50.9 percent from the floor over Milwaukee’s last four games. The blocks are unlikely to stick, but it has been a solid stretch for him. They’ll need him to keep it up with Damian Lillard sidelined.

After scoring 15 points or less in three straight games, Kuzma recorded his first 20-point stat line since March 20. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, the move from Washington to Milwaukee has not boosted Kuzma’s fantasy value. However, there is now more room for him to flourish offensively, as Damian Lillard (calf) is unavailable. Whether or not Kuzma can make the most of this opportunity will impact the Bucks and fantasy basketball, as Milwaukee is still in the hunt for the four-seed in the East.

Kuzma led the Bucks in scoring on Tuesday, as Giannis Antetokounmpo shot 5-of-16 from the field and Damian Lillard (16/3/4/1/1 with two three-pointers) was 6-of-18. However, Kuzma’s production mainly was limited to points and three-pointers. And the move from Washington to Milwaukee hasn’t done much for his fantasy value. Since the All-Star break, Kuzma is ranked outside the top 200 eight-cat formats. His status as a starter makes Kuzma a player who should be rostered in standard leagues, but the returns have not been what many fantasy managers hoped for.

Initially questionable for Sunday’s game, Kuzma is available and will be in the Bucks’ starting lineup. Damian Lillard, Taurean Prince, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez will complete the quintet. Kuzma’s availability means neither Gary Trent Jr. nor Kevin Porter Jr. will receive a boost to their fantasy values.

Kuzma was initially listed as doubtful for Tuesday’s game with an ankle injury, but has since been upgraded to questionable. While there’s still a real chance he’s out Tuesday, the 29-year-old power forward is at least trending in the right direction. AJ Green, Taurean Prince and Gary Trent Jr. would pick up the vacated minutes if Kuzma is out against the Hawks.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is probable, so the Bucks’ starting frontcourt will be available, but the rotation will be a bit thin behind Giannis and Brook Lopez. With Kuz unlikely to play, AJ Green, Taurean Prince and Gary Trent Jr. should see more run.
