Once again starting for the injured Victor Wembanyama (knee), Kornet arguably had his best game of the season. In addition to recording a season-high point total, the 7-foot-1 center blocked five shots and was solid on the glass. Due to Kornet’s play, Kelly Olynyk (5/3/2/1) only played 14 minutes off the bench. Wembanyama, who will travel with the team for Tuesday’s game in Memphis, is day-to-day. Kornet will be worth streaming as long as the Spurs are without their starting center.

The Spurs, who were already without Devin Vassell, won’t have Victor Wembanyama (knee) for Friday’s game, either. Champagnie, who hit a franchise record 11 three-pointers in Wednesday’s win over the Knicks, remains in the starting lineup while Kornet steps in for Wemby.

Castle is back in the Spurs’ lineup after missing nine games, resulting in Julian Champagnie heading back to the bench. Castle’s minutes may be restricted, so Champagnie will undoubtedly play rotation minutes. Also, Kornet has been upgraded from questionable to available after missing Friday’s loss to the Cavaliers with a sprained ankle.

Kornet missed Friday’s game against the Cavs, but the Spurs are expecting him to suit up on Monday, even if he is still officially listed as questionable. With Victor Wembanyama (calf) doubtful, Kornet should get at least one more game as a starter.

Kornet did not play in Friday’s game against the Cavaliers, resulting in Bismack Biyombo moving into the starting lineup. With Biyombo and Kelly Olynky combining to play 16 minutes on Friday, neither will be worth the risk if Kornet remains out on Monday. San Antonio was willing to go small for extended periods, with Jeremy Sochan spending some time at the five.

Kornet is set to miss Friday’s game against the Cavaliers with a sore left ankle. Kelly Olynyk should move into the starting lineup with Victor Wembanyama also sidelined while Jeremy Sochan also picks up additional minutes. Olynyk is worth streaming.

Kornet, who has been starting for the injured Victor Wembanyama, is dealing with a sore left ankle. If he’s unable to play on Friday, Kelly Olynyk would benefit the most in terms of playing time. While Jeremy Sochan may also pick up a few more minutes, Olynyk is the player to target as he would likely move into the starting lineup.

Since moving into the Spurs’ starting lineup on November 16 to fill the void left by Victor Wembanyama, Kornet has provided ninth-round value in eight-cat formats. The issue has been the lack of scoring, with the 7-foot-1 center averaging 6.6 points per game. However, Kornet has been a good player to roster for those needing rebounds and blocks. He was productive in those categories in Orlando, with his third block coming as time expired to preserve the victory. Kornet remains a specialist, but the opportunity to start makes him a player worth holding onto in deep leagues.

Kornet drew the starting assignment at center with Victor Wembanyama sidelined due to left calf tightness and wound up delivering his second double-double of the season while logging his most minutes since October 24. The 30-year-old big man carries legitimate streaming appeal in fantasy formats whenever Wembanyama sits, as he’s capable of chipping in on the glass and offers surprising offensive touch as a rim-runner and interior finisher.

“French Vanilla,” the nickname given to the tandem of Kornet and Victor Wembanyama, is back. The former returned to the Spurs’ rotation after missing seven games with ankle and shoulder injuries, and he looked sharp. Kornet played 20 minutes off the bench and was the only Spurs reserve to finish with a positive plus/minus. What that stat never tells the whole story of a player’s impact, the Spurs are much better when Kornet is available. His return meant less playing time for Kelly Olynyk, who accounted for two assists in four minutes of action.

Kornet is making his return from left ankle and right shoulder sprains. He’s missed the last seven games with his various ailments. Kornet’s return could cut into Kelly Olynyk’s playing time, but neither of them have much fantasy value behind Victor Wembanyama.

Kornet is recovering from left ankle and right shoulder sprains, which have sidelined him for San Antonio’s last seven games. If he’s able to play on Monday, Kelly Olynyk’s playing time may take a hit. However, this won’t impact either center, as they don’t provide much value when Victor Wembanyama is available.

This will be a seventh consecutive absence for Kornet, though the initial questionable tag should indicate that he’s getting closer to a return. Kelly Olynyk will occupy the backup center role once again, but that hasn’t resulted in many minutes for him.

Kornet has missed six consecutive games, but at least has a chance to return Saturday against the Pelicans. Kelly Olynyk (heel) is also questionable, but would be the backup center if he’s available and Kornet isn’t. If Olynyk is out, that honor would fall to Bismack Biyombo.

This will be a sixth straight absence for Kornet, who was excellent in the last game that he appeared in. Kelly Olynyk (heel) is questionable and will fill out the backup center minutes if he plays. If not, Bismack Biyombo will continue to fill the void.

While the Spurs are still waiting for Olynyk to make his first appearance of the season, Sunday’s game will be the fourth that Kornet has missed since spraining his ankle. Bismack Biyombo has served as the backup center, but that role is not enough to make him worth streaming in any fantasy league.

While Kornet played in the Spurs’ first two games, Olynyk has yet to see any action this season. Their absences mean that Bismack Biyombo will take on the backup center responsibilities. He’s unlikely to exceed 15 minutes, so there’s no need to consider streaming Biyombo.

Monday’s game will be the second Kornet has missed due to a sprained left ankle. While Bismack Biyombo slid into the backup center role in Sunday’s win over the Nets, he only played 12 minutes. There’s no need to consider streaming Biyombo.

Kornet played well against New Orleans, but he’ll join Olynyk, who still hasn’t played this season, on the sidelines. Bismack Biyombo should play the backup center minutes behind Victor Wembanyama.

Kornet’s debut for the Spurs was quiet, but he was able to record his first double-double as a Spur in this game. He only played 16 minutes in the season opener, but coach Mitch Johnson utilized the “double-big” lineup, which features Kornet and Victor Wembanyama playing together, more often than he did on Wednesday. Kornet played 35 minutes in this game; it’s unlikely he plays that much often, but if he can play 24-26 minutes per game this year, he may be able to provide decent value in deeper leagues.

Kornet’s strong preseason continued on Monday, going perfect from the field before finishing as the Spurs’ second leading scorer. He’s now shot 18-of-22 from the field across four preseason games and is looking as though he’ll serve as a reliable frontcourt option on both ends of the floor coming off San Antonio’s bench. Kornet will have a chance to finish the preseason on a high note on Friday when the Spurs face the Pacers again.

The Spurs added Kornet during the offseason, looking to upgrade the backup center position. He’s played well in San Antonio’s first two preseason games, shooting 10-of-12 from the field and tallying 25 points and 15 rebounds. Backing up Victor Wembanyama (10/4/5/1/2) isn’t the best spot regarding fantasy potential, but there may be times when Kornet offers reputable streaming value.

Kornet impressed in his first game action with the Spurs. The veteran big man went perfect from the field in his preseason debut and was one of the Spurs’ three leading scorers, needing just 14 minutes to land his production. Kornet was one of San Antonio’s big offseason additions — he’ll bring championship experience over from his time with the Boston Celtics and reliable two-way production off the bench as a reserve center.

The exodus continues in Boston as Kornet is another player from the Celtics’ 2024 Championship team that will be wearing a different uniform next season. The 29-year-old center was clearly coveted around the league in this free agency period. The Spurs made it a priority to add the backup center on a four-year deal. Kornet averaged 6.0 points per game and 5.3 rebounds per game last year.

Kornet will start Game 6 after being one of the difference-makers in Boston’s Game 5 blowout victory on Wednesday. He replaces Kristaps Porzingis, who continues to struggle with his fitness after dealing with an illness that first became an issue late in the regular season. How much Porzingis can play is unknown, but the Celtics will need another Herculean effort from Kornet to extend the series to a decisive Game 7 on Monday.

Kristaps Porzingis got the starting nod in place of Jayson Tatum (Achilles), but Kornet replaced him to start the second half. Porzingis didn’t end up seeing the floor after the break, while Kornet played a significant role in helping Boston take over the game. Porzingis has struggled mightily during this series, and there were reports that he is having stamina issues. After the game, head coach Joe Mazzulla was asked about benching Porzingis and said, “He couldn’t breathe. He was available if absolutely necessary.” Porzingis only had one point, one rebound and one block in 12 minutes on Wednesday. It’s unclear if Kornet will start in Game 6 on Friday, but he has clearly at least earned more playing time.

Kornet made the most of his starting nod on Sunday with a well-rounded performance. The reserve big man has had quite a few strong showings in the final weeks of the regular season. He’ll likely play a modest role behind Kristaps Porzingis in the postseason.

With Jayson Tatum and Kristaps Porzingis sidelined, the Celtics went with a bigger lineup, starting Kornet and Al Horford. Both players recorded double-doubles, with Horford adding 11 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three three-pointers in 28 minutes. While Kornet’s season-long value has been low, there have been moments when he’s worth streaming. The Celtics play four games during Week 23, and the 7-foot-2 center should have more opportunities to play extended minutes.

Kornet moved into the starting lineup Wednesday with both Kristaps Porzingis and Al Horford sidelined. The 29-year-old center played 21 minutes and was efficient with 14 points on nine shots. Kornet can be a valuable streamer in deeper formats when starting, but he didn’t get as much volume as Peyton Pritchard, who played 31 minutes off the bench as the Celtics went with a smaller lineup.
