It has been a largely unproductive season for Lopez, but he has started at center in every game since Ivica Zubac suited up for the last time as a Clipper, and he has been productive, especially recently. He has 16 blocks over his last five games and has scored in double figures in all but one of those. Lopez has provided fifth-round value over the past two weeks, and they’ll need him to stay productive in Thursday’s game against the Spurs.

Lopez displayed the type of floor spacing on Monday that those within the Bucks organization are very familiar with. The veteran center and former champion with the Bucks had a massive impact in the third quarter, when he netted four triples and recorded his only two blocks of the night. Lopez didn’t get a chance to test his hot hand in the fourth quarter because of the huge point differential between the two teams. However, he will look to stay hot against the Raptors on Friday.

While it occurred in a losing effort, Lopez had one of his best games of the season on Friday. Shooting 7-of-11 from two and 4-of-8 from beyond the arc, the veteran center’s 26 points were the most in a game for him since December 26. On that night, Lopez scored a season-high 31 points against the Trail Blazers. With backup center Yanic Konan-Niederhäuser (foot) having suffered a season-ending Lisfranc injury during Wednesday’s win over the Pacers, the Clippers will need more from Lopez. On Friday, he played 34 minutes, the fourth time since the All-Star break that the 7-foot-1 center has played at least 30 in a game.

Limited to six points in Monday’s win over the Warriors, Lopez nearly tripled his output in Wednesday’s blowout of the Pacers. The veteran center played 21 minutes, with the playing time taking a slight hit with the game being a blowout. At a minimum, the Clippers won’t have backup center Yanic Konan-Niederhäuser (foot) for their next two games, so that may result in a slight increase in playing time for Lopez. However, given how his workload has been managed, that isn’t guaranteed.

Lopez recorded one of his better games of the season on Friday, posting a double-double while making an impact on the defensive end of the floor. The Clippers have been much more dependent on the veteran center since Ivica Zubac departed via trade. And since becoming a full-time starter again, Lopez has put together some good performances, albeit inconsistently. He’ll be on double-double alert again on Sunday against the Magic.

Lopez, likely the new full-time starter at the center spot for the Clippers, logged one of his better games of the season. He scored effectively without needing to rely on high three-point production, and he also set a season-high in rebounds along the way. The former NBA champion made his mark on the defensive end as a rim protector and put together a really solid performance in his 36 minutes on the floor. Now, without Ivica Zubac, Lopez will have more opportunities to put up these types of numbers going forward.

With Ivica Zubac away from the team to attend the birth of his child, Lopez moves into the starting lineup. There will also be rotation minutes for rookie Yanc Konan-Niederhäuser, but he isn’t worth streaming in this spot.

While a final decision has not been made regarding Kawhi Leonard, who’s a game-time call, it is known who will replace the injured Ivica Zubac in the starting lineup. As was the case when Zubac missed time earlier this season, Lopez will fill the void. Big Zu’s absence also means that Yanic Konan Niederhäuser will play rotation minutes off the bench.

Lopez had his best game as a Clipper on Friday, setting new season-highs in points and three-pointers in his second start of the season. The veteran saw two triples drop early before following with three makes in the second quarter and four in the third. His four makes from beyond the arc in the third quarter were particularly impactful, as they helped flip the game and allowed the Clippers to come from behind and take a lead into the final period, which they would never relinquish. Lopez won’t sustain this type of production each game, but will surely have opportunities to be impactful while Ivica Zubac (ankle) is out of the lineup.

Lopez was moved into the starting lineup on Tuesday due to the absence of Ivica Zubac, who will miss at least three weeks with a sprained ankle. Unfortunately, the veteran center did not bring much production to the table. With Kawhi Leonard and James Harden on the floor, Lopez has a low ceiling, especially since he isn’t the lob threat that Zubac is. Fantasy managers are better off rolling the dice on John Collins in Zubac’s absence. Collins finished Tuesday’s win with 13 points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals, two blocks and three three-pointers in 29 minutes.

Tuesday’s game is the first for the Clippers since losing Ivica Zubac to a Grade 2 ankle sprain, and he will miss at least three weeks. Lopez, who was out of the rotation entirely as recently as a week ago, moves into the starting lineup. While the career track record suggests that he’s worth streaming, Lopez’s production has been mediocre at best when allowed to play rotation minutes. Hopefully, he changes that on Tuesday.

Lopez agreed to a deal with the Clippers during the offseason and will slot in as Ivica Zubac’s backup after seven productive seasons in Milwaukee. No worse than a top-60 player in any of his three prior seasons, Lopez will have a tough time cracking the top-100 off the bench. He’ll provide blocks and three-pointers, but the value isn’t enough to make BroLo much more than a late-round flier or in-season streaming option.

While Lopez was rumored to be a target of the Lakers, he ends up signing with the Clippers. The 37-year-old center figures to provide frontcourt depth for Tyronn Lue’s squad. Lopez averaged 13 points per game and 5.0 rebounds per game last season. He averaged 31.8 minutes per game in 80 games, but lines up to play behind Ivica Zubac with the Clippers.

Both of the Bucks’ center options will sit out the regular season finale. They don’t have any other true centers, so managers should expect to see some smaller lineups featuring Kyle Kuzma, Chris Livingston and Tyler Smith at center.

Lopez has scored at least 17 points in four straight games, one of his most productive stretches of the season. In addition to his 20 points, the veteran center finished Sunday’s victory with a double-double and four blocked shots. Before Sunday, Lopez last recorded four or more blocks in a game on March 13. He’s provided third-round value in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks and will have added value for Week 23, especially if Giannis Antetokounmpo (shoulder) misses more time.

Damian Lillard’s absence has not impacted Lopez’s fantasy value much, as he has been a fifth-round player in eight- and nine-cat formats. That aligns with his season-long value in nine-cat and is two rounds better than his eight-cat production. Lopez has scored at least 17 points in three straight games, and the good news for fantasy managers is that he has four games on his schedule for Week 23.

Typically known for his blocks and three-pointers, Lopez was able to show off his skills as a passer on Tuesday. This was his third time this season finishing with six assists, which he has now done twice in Milwaukee’s last three games. It was also great to see Lopez bounce back after finishing with just five points, one rebound, one assist, one steal and one block against Atlanta on Sunday. Lopez has been a streaky producer all season, and this recent stretch was just another example.

With Milwaukee playing Wednesday without Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo, Lopez stepped up and surpassed the 20-point mark for a third straight game. Over the past two weeks, the Bucks center has offered third-round value in nine-cat formats. Even if Giannis returns for Friday’s game against the Knicks, Lillard’s indefinite absence means there will continue to be additional opportunities for Lopez to flourish offensively.

While Lopez has scored 20 points or more in four of his last eight appearances, the rebounding production should not be overlooked. The 10 boards he grabbed on Monday were the most in a game for the veteran center since March 4, and his average of 5.0 per game is the lowest for Lopez since the 2019-20 campaign. That said, excellent percentages are why he has been a fifth-round player in nine-cat formats this season. And over the past two weeks, Lopez has shot 63.8 percent from the field and 86.4 percent from the foul line.

With Damian Lillard unavailable due to injury, Lopez had more room to flourish offensively. The 21 points are the most he’s scored since March 13, moving his total to five 20-point games since the All-Star break. Since then, Lopez has been a fourth-round player in eight- and nine-cat formats. For fantasy managers who have him rostered, Brook is playing well at the right time, especially with the Bucks playing four games during Week 21.

Lopez’s two blocked shots were welcome, as he has recently been “hit or miss” in that category. His four-block effort against the Lakers on March 13 was sandwiched between zero-block efforts. However, Lopez has averaged 1.9 rejections per game since the All-Star break, which is one reason why he has been a top-50 player in eight- and nine-cat formats. While Jericho Sims (four rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot in 12 minutes) is playing through a thumb injury that could require surgery, the Bucks may need to rely on Lopez even more down the stretch.

Two days after scoring 23 points in a loss to Indiana, Lopez added another 23 in a win. He was also far more effective as a shot blocker on Thursday after failing to block a shot against the Pacers. He has made at least 80 percent of his shot attempts in each of these 23-point games. Lopez has been a dominant category league player because of his shot blocking and three-point shooting, but the bonus points and assists on Thursday were a nice boost for fantasy managers in the playoffs.

Lopez had been quiet over his last three games, but he got back on track on Tuesday. He scored a total of 17 points over Milwaukee’s three previous games, but he had his highest-scoring night since November against Indiana. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough for the Bucks to hang on and get the win. Though he didn’t get any blocks in this game, which was his hero game without a block in over a month, Lopez has once again been an elite fantasy option this season because of his shot-blocking ability. He shouldn’t have many more games without a swat.

Lopez isn’t known as a strong rebounder, but he was able to make an impact on the glass against Atlanta. He set a new season-high for rebounds and recorded his second double-double of the season on Tuesday. Most of his value in recent years has come from three-pointers and blocks, and while he was able to provide one of each, it wasn’t his typical dose that managers have relied on. Lopez should continue to make his money in those two categories, and he shouldn’t continue to provide as many rebounds as he did on Tuesday.

Lopez finished behind only Giannis Antetokounmpo for the team lead in scoring and field-goal attempts. He made only seven of his 16 shots, but he got to the line with ease and cashed seven of eight from the charity stripe. Lopez finishes February with a scoring average just north of 15 points per game. He’ll look to carry that momentum into Saturday’s tilt with Dallas’ skeleton crew frontcourt.
