Leonard, who has been playing through a lingering ankle issue, was the primary reason the Clippers were able to erase a near 20-point deficit after stumbling out of the gate on the second night of a back-to-back. Los Angeles got off to a sluggish start, scoring just 14 points in the opening quarter, but it was Leonard who led the way in the second half, scoring 14 of his 26 points in the final two quarters. The 34-year-old superstar has provided first-round value on a per-game basis this season, averaging 27.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.2 steals and 0.7 blocks through 28 games. The Clippers have three games on tap next week including matchups against the Hornets, Wizards and Raptors.

For the third straight time, Leonard will be available for both games of a Clippers back-to-back. While Jordan Miller misses out on a chance to start, he may play a bit more if the Clippers look to manage Leonard’s playing time.

After scoring 26 points on Friday, Leonard will be questionable for the second leg of the Clippers’ back-to-back. Kawhi has played in their last two back-to-backs, and if he is unavailable for this game, Jordan Miller has a good chance to start after scoring 21 points in 27 minutes on Friday.

Leonard played through a sprained ankle and had 26 points and four threes in the win over the Nets on Friday. The season is slipping away for the Clippers at 14-23, 11th in the Western Conference. Leonard’s availability for Saturday’s game against the Pistons could be in question as he’s dealing with the ankle injury and it’s the second night of a back-to-back.

Initially questionable for Friday’s game, Leonard is good to go. Given the matchup, this could be a big night for the Clippers’ forward, provided his ankle doesn’t give him any trouble.

Leonard is dealing with a sprained right ankle, but it was the left foot and ankle that kept him out of the lineup for ten games in November. He hasn’t missed a game since, but Friday’s game is the first of two in as many nights for the Clippers, who visit the Pistons on Saturday. If Leonard sits out the matchup with Brooklyn, Kobe Sanders could be called on to make his second spot start of the week. He scored a career-high 20 in Monday’s win over the Warriors, filling in for James Harden.

While he was not on track to duplicate his 55-point effort against the Pistons on December 28, Leonard started very well on Wednesday. He scored 21 first-half points, likely causing many fantasy managers to envision another big night for the Clippers forward. Leonard would only score four points after halftime, shooting 2-of-7 from the field. While some of his teammates knocked down shots in the third quarter, Leonard’s failure to score in the fourth quarter helped the Clippers fall off the pace. Friday’s matchup with the Nets looks like a good one for Leonard to bounce back from a disappointing second half at MSG.

Leonard missed all eight of his three-point attempts, and the turnovers weren’t pretty, but this was an otherwise strong performance from Kawhi. However, in comparison to his recent stretch, this was an underwhelming outing from him. Leonard has been one of the best per-game players in fantasy basketball this season, and as long as he remains healthy, that should continue. He’ll look to stay hot in New York on Wednesday.

Leonard had his hands full with Boston’s plethora of strong wing defenders as Jaylen Brown and company took turns making things challenging for the veteran superstar, who shot just 35 percent from the floor, including 2-of-8 from beyond the arc. He still managed to turn in a respectable effort from a fantasy standpoint with a handful of rebounds, assists and steals in a one-sided affair that snapped a six-game winning streak for Los Angeles.

Leonard’s dominance continued on Thursday, recording his third straight game with at least 30 points, and his third time scoring 40 points or more over his last five appearances. A season-high six three-pointers keyed his success against Utah, as he hit four in the fourth quarter en route to tallying 20 points in the final frame. Leonard, a two-time Defensive Player of the Year Award winner, also combined for four stocks before checking out for the final time. He remains one of the hottest players in the league and will have a chance to continue his dominance on Saturday against the Celtics.

Two days removed from scoring a career-high 55 points, Leonard had 30 points through the first three quarters on Tuesday. Unlike the Pistons, the Kings offered little resistance to the Clippers throughout the 131-90 defeat, so Kawhi’s night was done with just over seven minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. Over the past week, he has been the most valuable player in fantasy basketball, and Leonard is a top-five player for the season.

Let’s get the negative out of the way right now: Leonard’s streak of made free throws ended at 64 on Sunday. That was the only negative for the Clippers star, who enjoyed a historic night at the Pistons’ expense. Leonard tied the Clippers’ franchise single-game scoring record (James Harden set the original mark), and he joined Anthony Davis as the only players in league history to record at least 50 points, five steals and three blocks in a single game. Third quarters have been an issue for most of this season, but Kawhi solved that by scoring 26 of the Clippers’ 32 points in the frame (Detroit managed 27 points). The Clippers play three games in Week 11, starting with the Kings on Tuesday.

Leonard was active in all phases of the game on Friday. He posted an 18-point fourth quarter to total at least 20 points for the 12th straight game, and nearly reached 30 despite an inefficient shooting performance. The two-time Finals MVP also tied a team-high in assists and led the Clippers in steals and rebounds en route to Los Angeles’ third consecutive win. Leonard is averaging 33.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 2.0 steals during the win streak, and will have a chance to tally another big fantasy performance against the Pistons on Sunday.

Given how poorly the Clippers have played for most of this season, the general feeling going into Tuesday’s game was that they could be on the wrong end of a blowout. The exact opposite happened, as Leonard played at an elite level offensively. He recorded his first 40-point game of the season and was efficient, shooting well over 50 percent from the field. Leonard didn’t record any defensive stats, but that has not been the norm for him. The Clippers hit the road for their next game, Friday night in Portland.

The only problem that fantasy managers may have with Leonard in the aftermath of Saturday’s performance was the field-goal percentage. However, when a player drops an overall line this robust, it’s easy to write off one “bad” category. The 30-point game was Leonard’s sixth of the season and first since December 1. Over the last two weeks, he has been a top-10 player in eight-cat formats. The Clippers play three games in Week 10, starting with the Rockets on Tuesday.

With no James Harden on the floor, Thursday should have been a night in which the Clippers relied even more on Leonard. While he did lead the team in points and shot attempts, Leonard missed all five of his three-point attempts. A decent night could have been even better, and possibly kept the Clippers from getting blown out after a good first quarter. The Clippers return home to host the Lakers on Saturday night.

Leonard led the Clippers in scoring on Monday, as he was the only player on the team to reach the 20-point mark. He didn’t provide much fantasy value outside of his scoring, though, which isn’t usually the case. Still, the 20-point outing allowed him to extend his streak of such games to eight. The Clippers need Leonard’s scoring to win games, and he continues to be one of their best options. Expect him to remain an efficient scorer so long as he’s healthy and on the floor.

Leonard has scored at least 20 points in six straight and seven of the eight games he’s played since returning from ankle and foot injuries. He has provided second-round value in eight-cat formats since returning, and he has not missed a game. While the Clippers only playing once during Week 8 isn’t great for Leonard managers from a production standpoint, the added time off may benefit him once the schedule returns to “normal” after the NBA Cup.

Leonard led the Clippers in scoring on Friday, but did so without scoring efficiently from beyond the arc. He shot 2-of-9 from deep and struggled with his shooting in the fourth quarter as the Grizzlies took control and eventually won the game. From a fantasy basketball standpoint, Leonard was solid — he did well on the glass and tallied more assists than his season’s average while chipping in a couple of stocks. Most importantly, the two-time Finals MVP has played 35 minutes in consecutive games. He appears to be off his minutes restriction, which could potentially lead to greater fantasy production going forward.

Leonard dropped 36 points in Monday’s loss to the Heat. The 34-year-old small forward had 21 points Wednesday and the Clippers got the victory. Leonard remains productive despite his team’s 6-16 record. He’s provided sixth-round fantasy value so far this year.

Finishing as a +8 in 30 minutes in a game your team loses by 17 is impressive. Leonard was able to have an excellent night, though 19 of his points came in the fourth quarter, when the game was practically already decided. It has been a rough season for the Clippers, but Leonard has still been really productive. He’ll look to help them end their losing streak in Atlanta on Wednesday.

Given his injury history since joining the Clippers, Leonard’s playing both games of a back-to-back is encouraging. After logging 29 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Grizzlies, he matched that number on Saturday and recorded another 30-point game. The Clippers’ four-game Week 7 concludes with another back-to-back, so fantasy managers won’t have to wait long to see if Leonard’s days of sitting out back-to-backs have come to an end (for now).

Leonard had his best game of the season on Friday, but he did not get much help, especially after halftime. While he scored 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting in the second half, Kawhi’s teammates combined for 23 points on 8-of-30 shooting. Leonard only played 29 minutes on Friday, a reminder that he doesn’t need to play starters’ minutes to have a significant impact on fantasy basketball. Leonard said after the loss that he will play against the Mavericks on Saturday, but consider him to be questionable anyway.

After playing 26 minutes in his first game back from foot and ankle injuries that sidelined him for nearly three weeks, Leonard’s playing time received a slight bump on Tuesday. He finished a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line and is providing top-10 value in nine-cat formats. Production has not been Leonard’s issue, but availability has. With the Clippers ending Week 6 with a Friday/Saturday back-to-back, he’ll likely be on the sideline for one of those two games.

Sunday’s game was the first for Leonard since November 3, so no one was surprised that his minutes were limited. There was some concern when he went back to the locker room less than two minutes into the game, but Leonard was back on the court shortly thereafter and logged 27 minutes. If he’s hitting the high-20s in minutes despite the restriction, that’s good news for those who have Leonard rostered. The Clippers play three games during Week 6, but they have a Friday/Saturday back-to-back, so Kawhi may be limited to two appearances.

Leonard is back after a 10-game absence due to ankle and foot injuries. His return means Kobe Sanders will come off the bench in a change that does not affect Sanders’ fantasy value. He was not a player who needed to be rostered before Leonard’s return.

Leonard is ready to return, and that’s great for fantasy managers and the Clippers. Los Angeles went 2-8 in the games its star forward missed, with John Collins replacing him in the starting lineup. With Leonard back in the fold, either Collins or Kobe Sanders will head to the bench.

Leonard has missed the last nine games with a foot injury. The Clippers are 1-8 in those games and are desperate to have the 34-year-old small forward back, especially considering the injuries to Bradley Beal (hip) and Derrick Jones Jr. (knee). Hopefully the Clippers can salvage their last game without Leonard against the Hornets on Saturday.

This will now be the ninth game in a row that Leonard has missed with his multiple foot injuries. The Clippers are just 1-7 over the first eight games without him, and would certainly love to have him back on the court, especially with Bradley Beal (hip) and Derrick Jones Jr. (knee) also out. Nicolas Batum and Kobe Sanders will continue to see larger roles in his absence.

While Frank also said that Leonard is progressing well in his recovery, he revealed that the star forward is dealing with two injuries, not just the sprained left ankle suffered during a November 3 loss to the Heat. Leonard does not have a timeline for his return, but he will travel with the team on its upcoming road trip, which begins in Dallas on Friday. Kris Dunn moved into the starting lineup in the immediate aftermath of Leonard’s injury and will likely retain that role, especially with Bradley Beal (hip) done for the season.
