After attempting five shots and scoring nine points in Friday’s blowout loss to the Thunder, LaVine was far more involved offensively on Sunday. He’s scored at least 23 points in seven of his nine appearances, with the increased scoring propelling LaVine into the top-50 in eight- and nine-cat formats. After averaging 22.4 points in 32 appearances for the Kings last season, he’s averaged 25.2 points in 2025-26. Given the limited production outside of points and three-pointers, LaVine doesn’t have much margin for error, but scoring has rarely been an issue for him. The Kings play four games during Week 4, starting with Denver on Tuesday.

LaVine returned from a one-game absence on Friday but struggled to make much of a positive impact. In the blowout loss, he totaled 29 minutes and attempted just five shots. He was efficient on his limited looks, but scored in single digits for the first time all season. LaVine will have a chance to knock off the rust and bounce back on Sunday against a Timberwolves team that has won three of its last four games.

LaVine missed Wednesday’s game against Golden State, which opened the door for Nique Clifford to start. The rookie logged 33 minutes but will be pushed to the bench with LaVine back in the lineup.

While LaVine did play through lower back soreness on Monday, he will not be able to go on Wednesday. His absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup for Malik Monk, Keon Ellis or Nique Clifford. All three should see their playing time increase, but Monk offers the highest offensive upside of the three. Ellis is capable of a big night, but he’s more likely to provide streaming value in the defensive stats.

LaVine was also considered questionable ahead of Monday’s loss to the Nuggets due to a lower back injury, but he started and played 37 minutes. Fantasy managers should anticipate a similar situation for the Kings guard. However, if he can’t play, Malik Monk, Keon Ellis or Nique Clifford will move into the starting lineup.

Carter’s availability won’t impact Sacramento’s rotation, as he’s played limited minutes when available. LaVine has scored at least 30 points in five of six games this season, and Schroder has been a consistent force as Sacramento’s floor general and competent scorer. Both LaVine and Schroder should see their usual allotment of minutes on Monday.

LaVine has been sensational, scoring 30 points or more in five of his six appearances. Not having him on the court would be a massive deal for the Kings. If LaVine cannot play, more minutes would become available to Keon Ellis and Nique Clifford, who already stand to receive a boost due to Malik Monk’s absence for personal reasons.

LaVine may not have provided much value outside of the points and three-pointers, but his early-season heater has been great for those who have him rostered. He has scored 30 points or more in five of his first six games, shooting 53 percent from the field and 94.3 percent from the foul line. The combination of points, three-pointers and high percentages has LaVine ranked within the top-25 in nine-cat formats. Fantasy managers will hope he can provide a bit more in the way of assists and steals, as that would help protect LaVine from a significant drop if his scoring cools off.

LaVine has scored at least 30 points in four of five games so far this season. The 30-year-old shooting guard made just 2-of-8 attempts from behind the three-point line. LaVine is in line for a significant scoring role with the Kings this year, just don’t expect him to be much help in the other categories.

Having scored 30, 31 and 32 points in his first three games, LaVine could not produce another 30-point effort on Tuesday. However, thanks to the ability to get to the foul line, he made it four straight games of 20 points or more. LaVine did not produce any defensive stats, so he’s barely a top-50 player despite averaging 29 points per game. However, based on his ADP, LaVine has been better than many expected before the season began.

Initially questionable for Sunday’s game due to an illness, LaVine looked healthy during his 40 minutes on the court. He’s scored at least 30 points in his first three games, his most productive run since scoring 30 or more in five straight in January. While there are usage concerns for some of the other key players in the Kings’ rotation, that isn’t the case for LaVine. He’ll get all the touches he desires, but LaVine’s ceiling remains limited due to the lack of stats outside of points and three-pointers. Sacramento hits the road for three games during Week 2, starting with Oklahoma City on Tuesday.

LaVine has been upgraded from questionable to available for Sunday’s game. He’ll take on his usual role as one of the Kings’ offensive focal points, while Malik Monk and Keon Ellis miss out on potential boosts to their respective fantasy values.

LaVine has gotten off to a hot start this season, but there is a chance he isn’t available to play against the Lakers. In that scenario, Malik Monk or Keon Ellis would likely replace him in the starting unit, though both would see a boost in minutes.

LaVine went for 30 points in the season-opener on Wednesday and followed that performance with another 30 piece on Friday. Against the Jazz, the versatile perimeter scorer utilized the three-point shot, free throws, and work inside the arc to finish with a team-high in points. His production and efficiency from deep were especially noteworthy on Friday after shooting just 2-of-10 from three the game prior. He didn’t find much production in other statistical categories, but if he can continue scoring at a high clip, he’ll be in for a productive season.

While LaVine struggled with his three-point shot, making just two of ten attempts, he was nearly unstoppable from two. The veteran wing shot 11-of-14 from inside the arc, with six occurring in the restricted area. LaVine did not provide much value outside of points and field-goal percentage, but few fantasy managers will turn down a 30-point night. While he offers a relatively safe fantasy floor, LaVine also has a low ceiling, which explains his Yahoo! ADP of 62.

After scoring 16 points in 15 minutes in Wednesday’s preseason opener, LaVine put forth another solid effort on Friday. Through two games, he’s scored 35 points while shooting 12-of-18 from the field, a clear sign that LaVine is ready for the regular season. He’s hovered around the top 50 in recent seasons, and there’s little reason to expect that to change in 2025-26. He’ll be a relatively safe middle-round option in standard league drafts.

LaVine led the Kings in assists on Wednesday, but inefficient play was an issue in the Play-In tournament defeat. The turnover count was worse than the field goal percentage, as LaVine committed five. After being traded to the Kings, the veteran guard was an eighth-round player in nine-cat formats, and a fifth-round player in eight-cat. While reuniting with DeMar DeRozan gave the Kings two high-scoring wings to pair with center Domantas Sabonis, the lack of a legitimate point guard was an issue. LaVine can approach top-50 value, but the task became more difficult when he was traded.

It was a rough first half for LaVine, but he was able to figure things out after the break. He scored 18 of his 26 points in the second half and 13 points in the final six minutes of the game. The ball didn’t go to him when the Kings had a chance to win it with two seconds left, which resulted in a loss that confirms they will finish the year with a losing record. They also now have the same record as the Mavericks and will need to beat the Suns on Sunday in order to host their Play-In matchup with Dallas next week.

LaVine’s entire stat line did not provide much value to category league managers, but his points, three-pointers and field goal percentage were outstanding. The 37 points are the most he’s scored in a game since February 24, and the opponent on that night (Charlotte) was far less formidable than the Cavaliers. LaVine will look to build on Sunday’s performance when the Kings end their road trip in Detroit on Monday.

LaVine’s fantasy value has tailed off considerably over the past two weeks, as he’s ranked outside the top 200 in nine-cat formats. The combination of limited defensive production and 3.1 turnovers per game have done him no favors during this stretch. While LaVine did not record any steals or blocks on Friday, the stat line was one of his best. In addition to the double-double, he racked up seven assists without committing a turnover. Fantasy managers will hope for a similar effort on Sunday when the Kings visit Cleveland.

LaVine had a rough second half on Wednesday, shooting 1-of-7 from the field, and the Kings lost a game they could ill afford to lose in their quest to earn a play-in spot. While shooting 44.6 percent from the field over the past two weeks isn’t terrible, LaVine doesn’t have as much margin for error, fantasy-wise, due to his limited defensive production. During this stretch, he’s ranked outside the top 250 in nine-cat formats and the top 150 in eight-cat. Not only do the Kings need him to be better in their final two games of Week 22, but the same can be said for fantasy managers who have LaVine rostered.

LaVine had a brutal afternoon in Orlando. While the field goal percentage wasn’t terrible, Saturday’s loss was the third game this month in which he’s failed to crack double digits in attempts. Add in five turnovers, and Saturday was a day to forget for fantasy managers that have LaVine rostered. And over the past two weeks, he’s ranked outside the top 250 in nine-cat formats. LaVine will look to turn things around during a four-game Week 22, which begins in Indianapolis on Monday.

This game was all about buckets for LaVine, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing at this point. Outside of the two rebounds he grabbed, he didn’t contribute any non-points value for fantasy managers. However, he scored less than 20 points in each of Sacramento’s last four games, and he was incredibly efficient with his shot on Thursday. Sure, it would be nice if he did more than score, but he won’t put up goose eggs in nearly every other category like he did in this game often. He’ll look to keep the offense flowing during their upcoming six-game road trip against Eastern Conference teams, which starts in Orlando on Saturday.

LaVine’s seven assists were the most he’s recorded in a game since February 13, when he racked up ten in an overtime loss to the Pelicans. However, the scoring output has taken a hit, with the veteran guard averaging 16.4 points per game over the past two weeks. With LaVine providing limited defensive value, a decrease in scoring impacts his fantasy value more than it would players who bring more to the table. Over the past two weeks, he has offered 14th-round value in eight-cat formats.

Playing against his former team for the first time, LaVine wasn’t able to have a big night. He only scored three points in the first half, all of which came at the free throw line. This ended up being LaVine’s worst game since being traded to Sacramento, which was rather disappointing for the #RevengeGame narrative. LaVine should bounce back against the Bucks on Saturday, but this was a missed opportunity for him.

LaVine missed Wednesday’s game against the Cavaliers for personal reasons but is available to play against his old team. He should slot back into his usual role. Whether he’ll be extra motivated against Chicago remains to be seen, but his numbers have taken a slight dip across the board since being traded to Sacramento.

LaVine is away from the team for personal reasons, opening up a space in the starting lineup. Keon Ellis is the most likely choice to fill the void, and he would be worth streaming in deep leagues.

LaVine suffered an ankle injury in the first half that briefly held him out of the game, but he was able to return to complete the win. This was his second-straight game with at least 20 points, and he has made at least 50 percent of his shot attempts in six consecutive games. LaVine has played well recently, and it was enough on Monday to end Sacramento’s four-game losing streak. He’ll look to stay hot against Cleveland on Wednesday before taking on his former team on Thursday when the Bulls come to town.

After attempting 16 shots total in his prior two games, LaVine put up 13 on Friday. That wasn’t enough to get the Kings into the winner’s circle, but LaVine’s offensive output received a welcome boost. Since the All-Star break, he has been a fourth-round player in eight-cat formats. LaVine has provided consistent fantasy value since joining the Kings in early February, and that appears unlikely to change anytime soon. The Kings play four games during Week 19, starting with the Grizzlies on Monday.

LaVine only attempted 10 shots on Monday, his lowest tally since joining the Kings a few days before the February trade deadline. While the percentages were good, he wasn’t particularly impactful in the Kings’ 133-104 defeat. However, LaVine has been a top-50 player in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks. The only negative for LaVine managers is Sacramento’s schedule, as they end Week 19 with a Thursday/Friday back-to-back against the Warriors and Suns.
