Miller hasn’t played since October 25, but his recall from the G League suggests he’s trending toward a return with the parent club. Miller’s eventual return may mean fewer minutes for Kon Knueppel, but Knueppel is a hold based on how well he’s played to start his NBA career.

Miller injured his left shoulder during Charlotte’s October 25 loss to the 76ers. Upon the Hornets’ return from their road trip, the initial diagnosis of a left shoulder subluxation was confirmed, and he will miss at least two weeks before being re-evaluated. Kon Knueppel returned to the starting lineup in Miller’s absence and should retain that role for the foreseeable future. The rookie isn’t a must-add, but his fantasy ceiling is raised.

Miller departed Saturday’s loss to the 76ers during the first half due to a sore left shoulder, and he will miss the second game of Charlotte’s road back-to-back. Rookie Kon Knueppel started the third quarter and should remain in that role. Also, Collin Sexton is likely to figure more prominently in the offense.

Miller’s 2024-25 season was marred by injury with a wrist injury requiring surgery in January. The 22-year-old small forward was a bit of a mixed bag in his first game back on Wednesday. Despite leading the team with 25 points, he was just 2-of-9 from behind the three-point line and didn’t record a single rebound. Miller also had seven assists. He could be in line for a big season with more consistent play.
