Murray and Gordon sat out Saturday for the second leg of Denver’s back-to-back set, but both are expected to suit up for Denver’s upcoming matchup with Sacramento. If both are cleared to play, Jalen Pickett and Peyton Watson are expected to shift back to the bench after earning spot starts on Saturday.

Murray is out for the second leg of this back-to-back, which should result in Bruce Brown entering the starting lineup. Jalen Pickett should fill out some of the reserve point guard minutes, but Nikola Jokic will continue to be the lead playmaker.

Murray is dealing with left calf tightness, but hasn’t missed a game yet this season. If he’s out, Bruce Brown is next in line to pick up the slack as the backup point guard and would see a boost to his fantasy value.

Murray did a little bit of everything for the Nuggets in their win on Friday. He made an impact offensively as both a facilitator and scorer, with his production from beyond the arc being key to his point total. But even on the defensive end, the veteran guard showed up and collected three steals. Again, he impressed on both ends of the floor and remains a key piece to Denver’s success on a nightly basis.

As expected, Murray is available after being listed as probable on the initial injury report. He’ll occupy his usual place in the Nuggets’ starting lineup, while Bruce Brown misses out on a potential boost to his fantasy value.

Murray is still experiencing tightness in his left calf, but he has yet to miss a game this season. He should take on his usual job as the Nuggets’ starting point guard, with Bruce Brown waiting in the wings to pick up the slack if Murray cannot play.

Murray was 0-of-5 from three on Monday, but fantasy managers still received solid production in the rebound and assist categories. The Nuggets point guard has scored at least 22 points in four of six games, sitting safely within the top-50 in eight- and nine-cat formats. More concerning than the subpar three-point shooting on Monday is Murray’s left calf, which has been an issue for a few games. He’s played through the issue thus far, but the Nuggets end Week 3 with a Friday/Saturday back-to-back.

As expected, Murray will once again play through tightness in his left calf. He’ll occupy his typical spot in the starting lineup to try and help the Nuggets bounce back after dropping their last game against the Trail Blazers.

Murray and Johnson are back on the Nuggets’ injury report, as they continue to deal with nagging injuries. However, neither has missed a game, and the probable tags suggest they will be cleared ahead of Monday’s game. Look for Murray and Johnson to occupy their usual places in the starting lineup.

Murray was initially questionable for Friday’s game, while Johnson was probable. They’ll both play and take on their usual roles within the Nuggets’ starting lineup. Johnson has struggled thus far, with the right shoulder injury likely being a reason why.

Murray is dealing with left calf tightness, hence his inclusion on the Nuggets’ injury report. He’s yet to miss a game this season, limiting the opportunities available to Bruce Brown and Jalen Pickett. That would change if Murray can’t play on Friday, with Brown offering higher fantasy upside.

Murray was productive over the first two quarters of Monday’s contest, but hadn’t put his fingerprints on the game in any significant way to that point. However, he erupted after halftime, tallying four three-pointers and five free throws en route to a massive 23-point third quarter, which took Denver from down eight points at halftime to up eight entering the fourth frame. He cooled off from then on, but still contributed nine more points the rest of the way. Murray finished with a new season-high in points and helped Denver to a second straight victory.

Murray was able to lead Denver in scoring, and three of his points came on a shot from beyond halfcourt to close out the first half. That was an exciting moment, and the rest of his night was just as great for fantasy managers. Murray has started the year off strong, though this was their final game of the week, and they only have three games next week. The schedule will be more in his favor as the season progresses, but he has been worth his early fourth-round ADP.

This was a strong way to start the year off for Murray, who had a Yahoo! ADP of 37.3. He only had five double-doubles all of last season. Murray has been a top-20 player in per-game, nine-cat value in each of the last two seasons, and this type of performance will help him replicate that production once again. Denver’s next game will come against the Suns on Saturday.

Murray was certainly in mid-season form in this win. After scoring a total of 36 points through their first three preseason games, he nearly matched that total against Chicago. Murray is being drafted in the fourth round in Yahoo! leagues, and he’ll be worth the selection if he is able to stay healthy, like he did last season.

After none of the Nuggets starters played more than 19 minutes in Saturday’s preseason opener, with Murray logging 16, the first five began the third quarter of Monday’s victory on the court. Murray looked reasonably sharp against the Raptors, shooting 60 percent from the field and 50 percent from beyond the arc. His fantasy value last season took a hit due to a slow start, but the Nuggets point guard shot the ball better after the All-Star break. The combination of Denver’s improved depth and the exit of Michael Porter Jr. may raise Murray’s fantasy ceiling, even if his role won’t change much.

Initially probable for Sunday’s game due to illness, Murray was a shell of himself in Game 7. He shot 1-of-8 from beyond the arc and offered little value outside of reaching double digits in points. After scoring 25 points or more in three of the four games prior, Murray likely expected more of himself with Denver’s season on the line. From a fantasy standpoint, this was an excellent season for the Nuggets guard. Entering the season with a Yahoo! ADP of 54, he was a top-25 player in eight-cat and top-20 in nine-cat formats. That should boost Murray’s ADP heading into drafts next fall, likely making him a player to target late in the third round of standard-league drafts.

Murray had 25 points in Game 6 after appearing on the injury report with an illness. He said after the game that there was no way he would sit out with an illness in the playoffs. It’s safe to assume that will be the case once again and that Murray will be active as the Nuggets try to advance to the Western Conference finals.

Murray was a late addition to the injury report with an illness, but he played through it, and it didn’t prevent him from having a big night. He scored 11 points in the first quarter and had nine points in the decisive third quarter to help Denver keep its season alive. Murray has been able to step up in big moments in the playoffs throughout his career, and they’ll need another big game from him in Game 7 on Sunday to advance to the conference finals.

Murray will be good to go after being a late addition to the injury report, which isn’t that surprising. It would’ve taken a significant illness for him to miss an elimination game, though the fact that he was questionable may speak to how sick he is. That could result in a poor shooting performance for him, or it could lead to a legendary tale.

Murray is a late addition to the injury report with an illness ahead of Thursday’s Game 6. With the Nuggets facing elimination, it seems likely that Murray will play through the illness. If not the Nuggets would be forced to rely more heavily on Russell Westbrook and Payton Watson.

Murray registered his third 20-point game of the series on Tuesday, but did so on rather inefficient shooting. A monster 13-point third quarter is where much of his production came from, which gave Denver a decent lead going into the final quarter. However, Murray cooled off down the stretch, scoring five of Denver’s 19 points in the fourth quarter. Both he and the rest of the Nuggets will want a better close to Thursday’s Game 6 if they hope to extend their season.

After being thoroughly embarrassed in Game 2, the Nuggets rebounded impressively on Friday. Murray led four players with at least 20 points and shot 3-of-5 from the field in the first quarter to help get the home team off to a good start. He’s scored at least 21 points in Denver’s wins in this series and is averaging nearly 22 points per game during the playoffs. Murray and the Nuggets will look to extend their series lead when they host Game 4 on Sunday.

Murray was a bit off in Game 1, but he provided solid value in the rebound and assist categories to help Denver steal the win. While he averaged 21.0 points in three games against the Thunder during the regular season, the Nuggets guard shot just 40.4 percent from the field. Given the perimeter defenders at Oklahoma City’s disposal, Murray’s efficiency may be lower than it has been on most nights this season. He’s good enough to still provide solid value and contribute to winning. Game 2 is on Wednesday.

After torching the Clippers in Game 5, regardless of who was assigned to him defensively, Murray was held in check in Game 6. A significant reason was the change made by Clippers coach Tyronn Lue, who gave Kawhi Leonard the task of defending Murray to begin Thursday’s contest. While the final stat line was solid, the Nuggets guard was made to work much harder than he did in Denver’s victory on Tuesday. Murray will need to be at his best in Game 7 on Saturday night. While home teams are 110-37 all-time in Game 7, the road team has won eight of the last 12.

Fresh off a series-low 13 points in Game 4, Murray exploded for a series-high on Tuesday. He totaled nearly as many three-pointers in this game as he had in the previous four combined, while still managing to dish out seven assists. Murray got hot early in this one and never cooled off. That has provided his Nuggets the opportunity to eliminate the Clippers for the second time in the last five seasons, with Game 6 scheduled for Thursday.

Murray has scored 21 points or more in all three games of this series, shooting over 50 percent from the field in Games 2 and 3. Unfortunately for him and the Nuggets, Thursday’s stat line was recorded in a 34-point defeat. Murray has recorded at least three turnovers in all three games. While the lackluster performances from some of his teammates were more significant issues in Game 3, the Nuggets don’t have much margin for error in a series they now trail two games to one. Game 4 is on Saturday.

Murray struggled with his shot in Game 1 but was able to improve his shooting efficiency in Game 2. However, that wasn’t enough to help Denver defend their homecourt. Murray was able to make a strong impact and hit a triple to tie the game at 100 with 2:07 left in the fourth. However, that ended up being his final shot attempt of the night. The Nuggets ceded homecourt advantage by losing this game, and they’ll need to win one of the next two games to get it back. Game 3 will be in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Murray did not get off to the best start on Saturday, shooting 2-of-8 from the field in the first half. While slightly better after the intermission, the rebounds and assists were where the Nuggets guard was most impactful in Game 1. Who helped pick up the slack in stretches was Russell Westbrook. Despite shooting 5-of-17 from the field, he chipped in with 15 points, eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and two three-pointers in 34 minutes off the bench. Murray’s overall stat line was solid, but the Nuggets will need him to shoot better moving forward.
