Mogbo is among the promising young players on Toronto’s summer roster, but it may be challenging to determine where he’ll fit into the regular season rotation. As a rookie, the 6-foot-9 forward played in 63 games, and his path to consistent rotation minutes may be easier to navigate at the four. Mogbo won’t go into fantasy drafts as a must-select player, but he should be able to provide streaming value throughout the season.

He didn’t do enough scoring to reach a triple-double, but Mogbo became the seventh player this season to record a rebound-assist double-double. It was a solid way to end his rookie season and cap off a four-game stretch where he averaged 12.8 points, 10.8 rebounds, nine assists, 2.5 steals and one block per game. The second-round pick has showcased a ton of upside in year one, but it’s unclear how he’ll fit into the rotation next season when the rest of the team is healthy. Still, when he gets the opportunity to play, he should be an effective, well-rounded fantasy option.

Once again filling in for the injured Scottie Barnes, Mogbo was excellent in Brooklyn. He recorded his first double-double, joining Jared Rhoden, Jamal Shead and Ja’Kobe Walter as Raptors who have recorded their first double-double this season. With the Raptors out of postseason contention, playing time should not be an issue for Mogbo during the season’s final week, regardless of Barnes’ availability.

Monday’s game was Mogbo’s first since March 4, when he suffered a back contusion. The rookie did not offer much production in his 27 minutes, but there will be more opportunities for him to start before the season ends. Whether or not he can do enough to merit being rostered in deep leagues during the “silly season” remains to be seen, but there’s no need to add Mogbo right now.

With Jakob Poeltl getting a rest night, Mogbo will enter the starting unit, which will make Castleton the team’s starting center for this game. Darko Rajakovic has balanced out the rotation to help Toronto improve their lottery odds, so starting doesn’t guarantee that Mogbo will play 30+ minutes.

Mogbo is set to return from a five-game layoff after breaking his nose and can provide Scottie Barnes with some backup on Sunday. Collin Castleton will likely take a step back after logging at least 23 minutes over his previous five contests.

Mogbo suffered a broken nose last week and was initially expected to miss at least one week. That report came one week ago, and he will still remain sidelined. With Jakob Poeltl (rest) out, Orlando Robinson and Colin Castleton will fill the center minutes.

Mogbo suffered a broken nose during Tuesday’s win over the Magic, exiting after playing seven first-half minutes. His absence frees up playing time for Orlando Robinson, who logged 24 minutes off the bench against the Magic. Robinson is only worth streaming if the Raptors decide to sit Jakob Poeltl, but the veteran starter may only be in for a minutes reduction with the team prioritizing player development.

Mogbo played seven minutes in the first half, but he won’t be available for the remainder of Tuesday’s game after an inadvertent hit from Paolo Banchero. Orlando Robinson should take on more minutes in the second half with Mogbo sidelined.
