After scoring 15 points in his first game back from a sprained ankle on Thursday, Murray put up 20 as part of a complete stat line on Saturday. Also of note for the Kings forward was that he played a team-high 36 minutes. While DeMar DeRozan (20/1/5/2/1 in 35 minutes) and Russell Westbrook (7/3/2/1/1 with one three-pointer in 21 minutes) don’t appear to be part of the Kings’ long-term plans, Murray should be the priority over the final two months of the regular season. If the Kings take that approach, it should bode well for fantasy managers who have him rostered.

Murray took the floor for the first time in over a month and finished with a solid overall stat line. He played 32 minutes, despite the score being as one-sided as it was, and did most of his damage from behind the three-point line. Murray also did well on the glass and finished just a couple of boards shy of a double-double. Thursday marked just the 20th game of the season for the versatile forward who’s had unfortunate injuries in his fourth NBA season. If he can start to string together some games, the rust should come off, and his production could increase.

Murray, who has only appeared in 19 games this season, has been out since January 4 with a sprained left ankle. While he’s expected to play on Thursday, fantasy managers should anticipate the forward being under a minutes restriction. Precious Achiuwa could be bumped to the bench, especially with the Kings’ lack of healthy post players.

Murray is progressing from his mild left ankle sprain. While the 25-year-old small forward is set to miss another two weeks, at which point he’ll be re-evaluated by the team, he’s been cleared for on-court activities. Murray’s initial recovery timeline was up to a month, but we won’t have another update on his health for an additional two weeks.

Murray suffered the injury in Sunday’s matchup with Milwaukee, and the injury will keep him out through the end of January at the earliest. Precious Achiuwa is the most likely beneficiary of Murray’s absence from a fantasy hoops perspective, but Nique Clifford is also in the mix to see increased run.

Murray left Sunday’s game against the Bucks with a left ankle sprain and didn’t return. The 25-year-old small forward is now ruled out well in advance of Tuesday’s game against the Mavericks. Dennis Schröder is a candidate to pick up minutes with Murray out. Expect another update from the Kings on Murray’s ankle in the coming days.

Murray sprained his left ankle on a third-quarter drive to the basket, landing awkwardly after colliding with Milwaukee’s Myles Turner. He was immediately taken back to the locker room and has since been ruled out. Dennis Schröder has picked up additional minutes in Murray’s absence, helping spark Sacramento’s rally to begin the fourth quarter.

Murray made three three-pointers against the Kings, but even more impressive was his consistent mid-range game. The 25-year-old small forward was 3-of-5 from behind the three-point line and 6-of-12 from inside it. Murray didn’t get much help from his teammates, though, as the Kings lost by 27. He’s scored at least 20 points for just the second time in his last 13 games. Murray will look to keep the hot hand going against the Bucks on Sunday.

Murray returned from his calf injury much sooner than many may have expected, as he was back in the lineup on Tuesday after a two-game absence. Interestingly, he played 30 minutes despite the game getting out of hand by halftime. The only important takeaway from Tuesday’s game for Murray managers is that he got through it without aggravating the calf injury. The Kings play three games over the final four days of Week 11, starting with a back-to-back on Thursday/Friday against the Celtics and Suns. We’ll see if Murray is available for all three.

Murray is back after missing time with a strained calf and is in the starting lineup. As a result, Keon Ellis heads back to the bench. Given how Kings head coach Doug Christie has handled the bench rotation for most of the season, it can’t be guaranteed that Ellis will get the minutes needed to affect fantasy basketball. Leave him on the waiver wire.

Murray is back a few days sooner than expected, but it’s unclear if he’ll face a minutes restriction after getting injured last Tuesday. He should reclaim his starting role, which means Nique Clifford will head back to the bench.

On Friday, it was reported that Murray would be out for at least one week with a strained calf. Well, he may be back sooner than that. The Kings’ forward, who was injured during a December 23 loss to the Pistons, has missed his team’s last two games. If Murray plays, Nique Clifford is likely headed back to the bench.

Murray suffered a mild right calf strain during Tuesday’s loss to the Pistons. Due to the timeline, he’ll miss at least four games before being re-evaluated. Nique Clifford replaced Murray in the lineup to begin the third quarter of Tuesday’s game, which may be a sign of how the rookie will be used. While a risky streaming option, Clifford would be worth a look in deep leagues if he starts.

Murray landed awkwardly and appeared to tweak his right calf during the second quarter of Tuesday’s game. While there wasn’t much made of the injury at the time, the Kings forward was not on the court to begin the third quarter. Nique Clifford was inserted into the lineup and could take on that role if Murray misses time.

While Murray has reached double figures in five straight and six of his last seven games, 20-point efforts have been few and far between. Sunday’s was his first since November 28, and the Kings forward is up to three on the season. Of course, Murray did not make his first appearance until November 20. However, the number of scorers within the Kings’ rotation has limited his ceiling as a scorer, so it was encouraging to see Murray be as productive as he was on Sunday. Already closing in on top-50 fantasy value, it’s enticing to wonder what he could be if the Kings were to move a veteran (or more) before the trade deadline.

Murray has been a consistent provider of blocked shots this season, averaging a career-best 1.9 per game. But he’s kicked things up a notch recently, recording 11 blocks over the last three games. While his scoring opportunities aren’t as plentiful as some would like them to be, the Kings forward has found other ways in which to provide reliable fantasy value. Murray is closing in on top-25 value in nine-cat formats, and he’s ranked just outside the top-50 in eight-cat.

Murray recorded a solid stat line on Thursday, including four “stocks.” And increased defensive production has been critical for the Kings forward, as he exits within an offense that has other options who are more ball-dominant than him. Over the past month, Murray has provided third-round per-game value in nine-cat formats. He and the Kings will look to bounce back when they visit the Timberwolves on Sunday in their final game of Week 8.

Initially questionable for Monday’s game due to a sore right trapezius muscle, Murray is officially available to play. He will occupy his usual place within the Kings’ starting lineup, so double-check to ensure that Murray is not sitting on your bench.

Murray is dealing with soreness in his right trapezius muscle, so he’s on the Kings’ initial injury report for Monday. If he’s unable to play against the Pacers, more minutes will be available to Malik Monk and Nique Clifford. Monk offers a higher fantasy ceiling, whether he starts or comes off the bench.

Murray’s three-point shooting has been his strongest attribute throughout his career. However, he didn’t provide much value from beyond the arc in this game. He made up for that with his second 20-point double-double of the season and continued dominance in contributing defensive stats. Murray also played a whopping 45 minutes; clearly Kings coach Doug Christie is going to ensure Murray is on the floor. Would Tom Thibodeau even go this far? Murray should have ample time on the court moving forward to dominate in fantasy basketball.

Murray was one of two Kings to lead the way in scoring on Wednesday, with Russell Westbrook also tallying 19 points. Since making his first start on November 22, the fourth-year forward has scored at least 19 in all three games. For fantasy managers, it has been good to see Murray not take a back seat to Zach LaVine or DeMar DeRozan so far. What would be most impactful on his value for the rest of the season is the Kings moving a veteran or two, clearing the decks for Murray.

Murray notched his first double-double of the season as Sacramento overcame a 10-point deficit in the final three minutes to ultimately emerge with an overtime victory. The 25-year-old former lottery pick was extremely aggressive in this one, taking a season-high 19 shots while stepping up from a rebounding standpoint with center Domantas Sabonis sidelined with left knee soreness. He’s delivered third-round fantasy production in the three games he’s played, averaging 18.7 points and 7.7 rebounds since making his season debut back on November 20.

Murray was inserted into the starting lineup on Saturday after coming off the bench in his season debut on Thursday. The good news for fantasy managers was that he was pretty involved in the Kings’ offense, something that had been a concern last season, when he was playing alongside Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan for the first time. If Murray can make stat lines like the one he recorded on Saturday a habit, fantasy managers won’t have any need for concern.

After playing 32 minutes off the bench in his season debut on Thursday, Murray is in the starting lineup. Taking on his usual role, he’ll push Precious Achiuwa to the bench. While Murray can easily provide excellent fantasy value, Achiuwa wasn’t worth streaming when allowed to start. Eubanks continues to start for Domantas Sabonis, who will remain out for a few more weeks.

Murray made his first appearance of the season on Thursday, but he was not inserted into the starting lineup. Precious Achiuwa remained in the starting power forward role, playing 24 minutes and finishing with two points and five rebounds. There were times when he and Murray shared the court, but Murray logging 32 minutes in his debut is a positive sign. Where he fits in Doug Christie’s rotation bears watching. While Murray has been a starter throughout his career, coming off the bench on this particular team may open things up for him offensively. Getting consistent shots sharing the court with Russell Westbrook, Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan and Domantas Sabonis (when healthy) will be challenging.

This was the likely outcome a couple of days ago, but now Murray is officially set to make his season debut after offseason thumb surgery. It’s unlikely that he will play a starter’s workload right out of the gate, but he’s not a high usage player to begin with, so he can help the Kings and fantasy managers without 30+ minutes. With Domantas Sabonis (knee) out on Thursday, that’s one less player to compete with Murray for touches, so Murray needs to be rostered in most formats by now.

This means Murray will miss Wednesday’s game against the Thunder. He was assigned to the G League on Monday to continue his rehab, and now he’s expected to make his return. Keon Ellis started on Monday, but he should return to a reserve role with Murray back. Sacramento’s starting lineup has undergone a few changes recently, but Murray should be locked in as a starter.

Murray - who has yet to make his season debut - is taking the next step in his rehab with this assignment, and a return to action should be on the horizon. Until Murray is given the green light, Russell Westbrook should continue to see elevated usage.

Murray, who is set to be sidelined until November, will be kept around in Sacramento through the end of the decade. The 2022 top-five pick is the best defender in the Kings’ starting lineup, and they’ll certainly miss him dearly for the first few weeks of the season. However, it was a smart move to ensure he will be kept around for the foreseeable future.

Murray injured his left thumb during the first half of Friday’s exhibition defeat. Further examination of the injury revealed a torn ulnar collateral ligament that will require surgery. He’ll miss at least four weeks, opening up a spot in the starting lineup. While this will push Murray down some draft boards, Malik Monk, Keon Ellis and rookie Nique Clifford will be worth a look in many leagues. Clifford has been used at all three perimeter positions during the preseason, and Clifford’s defensive ability could mesh well with the Kings’ starting lineup if given the opportunity to start. Monk remained a starter last season after the Kings traded De’Aaron Fox to the Spurs.
