Martin will remain out on Sunday, missing a fifth straight game due to illness. Micah Potter played 32 minutes off the bench in Friday’s loss to the Thunder and may take on a similar workload on Sunday. However, fantasy managers in active leagues should target Kyle Filipowski and Brice Sensabaugh first.

Martin did not play in Friday’s game against the Pacers, which led to Micah Potter playing 24 minutes off the bench. He may be in for a similar workload if KJ remains unavailable, but that is not enough to make Potter a player worth streaming in most leagues.

Martin has averaged just over 21 minutes per game across his last six, so his absence will free up some rotational minutes for the likes of Brice Sensabaugh and Kyle Filipowski. With Walker Kessler (concussion) sidelined, Martin likely would have started if he was available. That opportunity will now likely fall to either Johnny Juzang or Svi Mykhailiuk.

Martin is a legitimate member of Utah’s rotation and has a chance to bump Svi Mykhailiuk from the starting lineup. Springer could have a tough time playing minutes because of the Jazz’s wealth of young guards.

Martin has missed Utah’s last four games, while Springer has been inactive for four straight and nine of Utah’s last ten. Their absences have resulted in more playing time for players such as Johnny Juzang and Svi Mykhailiuk, but neither has been consistent enough to merit rostering, even in deep leagues.

Martin will miss a fourth-straight game on Friday, and with John Collins out at least another week, Kyle Filipowski should continue to start at power forward. He had 21 points in 21 minutes against Washington on Wednesday.

Wednesday’s game is the third Martin has missed with an elbow injury. His absence frees up additional minutes for Brice Sensabaugh, who is worth a look in deep leagues. Sensabaugh will not have to worry about minutes because of how the Jazz have recently handled Lauri Markkanen’s playing time.

Martin will not play in Sunday’s game, leaving the Jazz down another option in the frontcourt. While Lauri Markkanen is available, the Jazz could limit his minutes as the team attempts to improve its lottery odds. For this reason, Brice Sensabaugh and Kyle Filipowski are worth rostering because their minutes should be safe as younger players.

Martin is a late addition to the injury report after being left off the initial release from the Jazz. Martin didn’t return to the starting unit in Utah’s first game without John Collins, who is set to be re-evaluated in two weeks after suffering a left ankle sprain. If Martin is also sidelined on Sunday, Kyle Filipowski and Svi Mykhailiuk will both take on extra minutes.
