McBride underwent the procedure on Friday, one day after the Knicks acquired Jose Alvarado from the Pelicans. With the reported timeline, there’s a chance the guard is available to play before the start of the postseason. While they await McBride’s return, the Knicks will rely on the combination of Alvarado (once he joins the team), Tyler Kolek and Jordan Clarkson to fill the void.

This injury is often referred to as a sports hernia. The Knicks just traded for Jose Alvarado, who will help make up for McBride’s absence. Alvarado should be the sixth man, while Tyler Kolek and Jordan Clarkson will still be around to fill out some of the depth minutes when Jalen Brunson isn’t on the floor.

This will be a fifth straight absence for McBride, and they haven’t provided much of a timeline for when he could return. Landry Shamet and Tyler Kolek should continue to take on extra minutes with McBride out.

McBride will miss a fourth straight game as he continues to manage this left ankle injury. Landry Shamet and Tyler Kolek have taken on larger roles recently with McBride unavailable, which should continue against Washington.

Sunday’s game will be the third that McBride has missed due to left ankle injury management. In his absence, Landry Shamet and Tyler Kolek have figured more prominently in the Knicks’ rotation.

McBride was downgraded to doubtful earlier in the day and has now officially been ruled out for a second straight game. Landry Shamet and Tyler Kolek should take on large reserve roles once again, just as they did against Toronto on Wednesday.

McBride is on track to miss a second consecutive game due to left ankle injury management. He sprained the ankle in early December, which cost the Knicks’ guard three weeks. Landry Shamet and Tyler Kolek can absorb some of the minutes that would have gone to McBride, with both playing at least 20 minutes in Wednesday’s win over the Raptors.

McBride did not play in Wednesday’s win over the Raptors, which was the Knicks’ second game in as many nights. His absence led to Tyler Kolek playing more minutes, with the second-year guard logging 20 minutes and dishing out 10 assists.

Deuce and Robinson will both get the night off for injury maintenance on their injured left ankles. New York is playing the second leg of a back-to-back set, so fantasy managers shouldn’t be concerned about additional time off for either player. Tyler Kolek and Ariel Hukporti could see additional playing time against Toronto.

After totaling 48 points in losses to the Warriors and Suns, McBride crashed back to earth on Monday with a five-point performance against the Mavericks. He got back on track Wednesday night, shooting 50 percent from the field and finishing a blocked shot shy of a complete line. With Jalen Brunson healthy, McBride’s fantasy upside is limited, but he can still be of value to deep-league managers.

McBride put forth another quality performance filling in for Jalen Brunson, posting consecutive 20-point games for the first time this season. Given the production, he is worth adding as long as Brunson remains unavailable due to his sprained ankle. The Knicks open a three-game Week 14 on Monday against the Mavericks.

With Jalen Brunson (ankle) unavailable, McBride moved into the starting point guard role on Thursday. And he performed well, matching his season-highs in points and assists. Rostered in 14 percent of Yahoo! leagues, McBride has been a top-100 player over the past two weeks. More should be learned about the severity of Brunson’s injury when the team returns home on Friday. Fantasy managers might as well add McBride before an announcement is made, just to be safe.

The Knicks don’t have Jalen Brunson, as he sprained his right ankle during Wednesday’s loss to the Kings. He’ll be replaced in the lineup by McBride, who now offers a higher fantasy ceiling than he does as the sixth man. Tyler Kolek’s playing time should receive a boost, but Deuce is the streamer to target.

Once again, McBride got off to a good start, scoring 12 points in the first quarter of Friday’s game. Unfortunately, he didn’t offer much value offensively in the final three periods, but the final stat line was solid. Over the past two weeks, McBride has been close to a top-50 player in nine-cat formats. He’s worth rostering in deep leagues until Josh Hart returns from his high ankle sprain, and that could happen during the Knicks’ current four-game road trip.

McBride has reached double figures in all six games he’s played since returning from a sprained ankle, and he replaced Mitchell Robinson in the starting lineup on Wednesday. Deuce got off to a good start, shooting 5-of-9 from the field in the first half with four made three-pointers. Over the past two weeks, he has offered top-100 per-game fantasy value. Rostered in 14 percent of Yahoo! leagues, McBride is worth streaming as long as the Knicks are without Josh Hart (ankle).

After starting Mitchell Robinson in Monday’s loss to the Pistons, the Knicks are shifting to a quicker option for Wednesday. McBride will start, shifting Bridges, Anunoby and Towns down a position. McBride has been productive recently and should be rostered in deep leagues, especially while Josh Hart is out.

McBride has reached double figures in all four games he’s played since returning from a sprained ankle that sidelined him for two weeks, scoring 20 points or more twice. With the injuries to Josh Hart and Landry Shamet, McBride takes on added importance for the Knicks on both ends of the floor. Rostered in 10 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he has been a seventh-round player in eight-cat formats since returning from the ankle injury.

Not only will the Knicks be without Josh Hart for Friday’s game, but Karl-Anthony Towns is out with an illness. McBride, who came off the bench in his first games back from a sprained ankle, will start, bumping Mohamed Diawara to the bench. Hukporti steps in to start for Towns.

McBride is available to play for the first time since December 7. With Tyler Kolek dealing with a sore right ankle and Josh Hart (ankle) out, getting McBride back gives the Knicks a welcome boost on the perimeter.

McBride is set to play in his first game since December 7, and his timing is impeccable, as Kolek has been filling in for him as Jalen Brunson’s backup. McBride may see limited minutes in his first game back in three weeks, so fantasy managers don’t need to insert him into lineups right away.

McBride, who last appeared in a game on December 7, was also questionable ahead of Saturday’s win over the Hawks but did not play. If he does play, the Knicks guard will likely be under a minutes restriction. If he doesn’t, Mike Brown may expand his bench again, with Mohamed Diawara (who started for Josh Hart on Saturday) and Kevin McCullar Jr. picking up rotation minutes.

McBride has been sidelined since Dec. 7 but could make his return against Atlanta. Josh Hart (ankle) has been ruled out, so McBride could take on extended minutes in his first game back. Jordan Clarkson and Tyler Kolek could lose minutes if McBride returns, though both have played well recently.

While McBride has been cleared to resume individual on-court work, he still has not taken the step of participating in group practices. His absence has led to more minutes for Tyler Kolek, who had the best game of his NBA career in Thursday’s win over the Pacers. That said, the Knicks would have to lose another rotation player before Kolek would be worth the risk as a streamer.

McBride has been sidelined since December 7th, and it now appears he will be out at least a week longer. Even though he is no longer starting, McBride is a key part of the Knicks’ rotation and has made clear gains as a scorer this season. In his absence, Jordan Clarkson will continue to be relied on for bench scoring, and Tyler Kolek will see an uptick in minutes.

McBride suffered a sprained left ankle during Sunday’s win over the Magic and did not return. If the Knicks advance to the NBA Cup semifinals with a victory on Tuesday, they would be off until Saturday. No McBride means the Knicks will need more consistency from Jordan Clarkson, and he is not worth the risk in most fantasy leagues.

McBride injured his left ankle during Sunday’s win over the Magic, with Orlando guard Desmond Bane landing on the Knicks guard’s leg after attempting to block his layup attempt. McBride did not return after exiting, and he’ll undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the injury. If he misses time, the Knicks will have to rely more on Jordan Clarkson for scoring off the bench, and inconsistency has been an issue for him this season.

After knocking down five three-pointers and scoring 19 points in Wednesday’s win over the Hornets, McBride duplicated that performance two nights later. A starter in each of the Knicks’ last three games, Deuce has hit double figures in four of his last five. With Landry Shamet (shoulder) out for at least four weeks and OG Anunoby (hamstring) also out, McBride may be locked into the starting lineup for long enough to merit being streamed until the latter returns. The Knicks end Week 6 with a home game against the Raptors on Sunday.

Making a second consecutive start, McBride had one of his best performances of the season in Charlotte. He shot 5-of-5 from beyond the arc, with the 19 points being six shy of his season-high. With Landry Shamet (shoulder) out for at least a month, McBride will be a key figure for the Knicks, whether he starts or comes off the bench. From a fantasy standpoint, he’s more valuable as a starter than as a reserve.
