Indiana has dealt with a ton of injuries in the backcourt this season, which led to them signing McClung in the first place. However, they’ll pivot to a veteran guard who they nearly signed in September. Morris will likely have a role, but he isn’t a player that will contribute consistently for fantasy managers.

Morris spent the 2024-25 season with the Suns, appearing in 45 games off the bench. Limited to 78 games over the past two seasons, the veteran point guard will look to earn a roster spot when the Pacers open camp next week. With Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles) already out for the season, there may be room for Morris to offer additional depth behind Andrew Nembhard and T.J. McConnell. However, if he makes the opening night roster, he’s unlikely to provide much fantasy value in that role.

Morris is available after being listed as probable on the initial injury report. With Bradley Beal (hamstring) out for one week, there may be minutes available to Morris on the back end of the Suns’ rotation. However, he should not be rostered in most fantasy leagues.

It has been over a month since Morris played in a game, but his upgrade to questionable ahead of Sunday’s game may mean he will be available soon. However, he hasn’t been part of the rotation when healthy, so even if he is able to suit up this week, it won’t impact the team’s rotation.

Morris has not appeared in a game since February 8. And the veteran point guard has not been in the rotation when healthy, so there’s no need to consider him for fantasy rosters.

Morris was initially doubtful to play, so his third-straight absence doesn’t come as a surprise. However, even when he’s been healthy, Morris hasn’t seen the floor in over a month, so his absence won’t alter the Suns’ rotation.

Friday’s game will be the fourth straight Morris has missed with lower back spasms. With Bradley Beal also out, Tyus Jones has returned to the starting lineup and played 39 minutes in Thursday’s loss to the Pelicans. Look for him to take on a similar workload in Friday’s rematch.

Morris will miss a third straight game with lower back spasms. With the recent change to the Suns’ starting lineup, as Tyus Jones has moved to the bench in favor of Bradley Beal, Morris will be a spot lower in the pecking order when healthy. He’s unlikely to impact fantasy basketball.
