Mann has looked great to start the year with Brooklyn, and he’ll look to keep the positive momentum going against Detroit. Powell has seen just 12 minutes across two appearances, so his availability won’t impact Brooklyn’s rotation.

Mann is dealing with a shoulder injury, but that shouldn’t impact his availability against Detroit. He’s enjoying the most productive season of his career and is locked into a starting role, and he’ll look to stay hot against the Pistons with Cam Thomas (hamstring) out.

With Michael Porter Jr. bumping Tyrese Martin out of the starting lineup after missing Monday’s game for personal reasons, Mann was effectively the starting point guard on Wednesday. He played well, shooting just under 50 percent from the field and sharing the team lead in assists with Nic Claxton. For years, Mann has been a player some fantasy managers believed could provide value with the right opportunity. Brooklyn may be it, as he has been a top-100 player in nine-cat formats. Rostered in 12 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Mann will be worth a look if Cam Thomas (hamstring) can’t play in Friday’s game against the Pistons.

Mann was a late addition to the injury report, but he’ll be able to suit up despite an illness. He’ll occupy his typical spot in the starting unit, which means there won’t be an opportunity for Jalen Wilson or Tyrese Martin to slide into the opening group.

Mann is a late addition to the injury report, and there is a chance he doesn’t suit up against Philadelphia. That would open up a spot in the starting lineup, which will likely be filled by Jalen Wilson or Tyrese Martin. Either would have limited streaming appeal as a starter.

There will be growing pains with the Nets using three of their five first-round picks in June’s draft on lead guards (Ben Saraf, Egor Dëmin and Nolan Traoré). However, that also means some of the team’s more experienced players may have opportunities to make plays for others. Mann fits the mold, and his six assists on Wednesday were the second-most a Nets player has recorded in a game this season (Cam Thomas had nine against Cleveland on October 24). Mann isn’t at the point where he’s a must-add player, but he’s worth watching due to the Nets’ young roster.

Mann has been starting for the Nets, but he hadn’t been contributing much on the offensive end. However, he popped out of nowhere to lead them in scoring in this one. Mann has never finished inside the top-150 in nine-category leagues, and that’s unlikely to change this season, even though he’s starting. He can confidently be left on the waiver wire in standard leagues, even if this was a strong performance.

Mann spent most of his career with the Clippers before being sent to Atlanta at the trade deadline in February. Now, he’ll find a new home in Brooklyn, where he’ll provide perimeter defense and a veteran presence in the locker room on a young team that is looking to establish an identity over the next few seasons. Assuming he isn’t moved again, Mann should play a decent-sized role for the Nets, but he won’t be prioritized over the young players, especially with Brooklyn now having five first-round picks.

Mann was one of the few veterans that played on Sunday, and he was able to do more scoring than he typically does for the shorthanded Hawks. He scored 14 points in the third quarter and matched his highest-scoring performance as a Hawk. Mann will play a large reserve role for Atlanta during the postseason, but his role doesn’t typically ask him to score as much as he did in this game. Still, Mann will be an important piece for the Hawks as they try to survive the Play-In Tournament.

After scoring 21 points in his prior three appearances, Mann hit double figures for the first time since March 27 in Saturday’s defeat. Despite averaging just 10.6 points per game, he has been a ninth-round player in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. Georges Niang and Caris LeVert have been superior deep-league options since the trade deadline, but Mann will be worthy of a look for Sunday’s game against the Jazz.

With Caris LeVert (finger) sidelined on Monday, Atlanta’s other trade deadline acquisitions stepped up as scoring options. Mann and Georges Niang (18/4/3) combined to score 37 of the Hawks’ 49 bench points, which helped them secure the win over Philadelphia despite being shorthanded. Mann isn’t a fantasy-friendly option often, but he was able to make an impact in the box score on Monday. However, he isn’t a player that managers should be looking to roster.
