Friday’s game will be the third that Murphy has missed with an ankle injury. Jordan Poole moved into the starting lineup for Tuesday’s win over the Jazz and went off for 34 points. Look for him to take on a significant role within the Pelicans’ rotation once again.

Murphy will miss a second straight game, which should lead to another start for Yves Missi. He played 40 minutes on Sunday and contributed 18 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks in the loss to Orlando. Missi should be a priority streaming option.

Murphy played both games of the Pelicans’ back-to-back on Thursday and Friday, logging 36 and 32 minutes in the outings. It should be noted that he was questionable ahead of the second game, a Friday loss to the Kings. If Murphy can’t play but Dejounte Murray (hand) returns, Yves Missi could remain in the starting lineup.

Interestingly, Murphy was not under a minutes restriction on Thursday after missing three games with a sprained ankle. He played 36 minutes in Portland, which may be a clear sign that he won’t play in Friday’s game against the Kings. If Murphy sits, Yves Missi (six points, seven rebounds and one blocked shot) is likely to return to the starting five.

Murphy is available after a three-game absence. His return will push Yves Missi to the bench, but the second-year center should play plenty due to the need to account for Portland’s Donovan Clingan and Robert Williams III.

Murphy is set to miss his third game in a row with an ankle injury. The Pelicans started Yves Missi in Murphy’s absence in the loss to the Raptors on Friday, but the big man had just seven points in 19 minutes.

Murphy has missed the Pelicans’ last two games with an ankle injury, resulting in Yves Missi moving into the starting lineup the last time out. Missi will head to the bench if Murphy plays, with Herb Jones likely taking on the center responsibilities despite him not being a five.

The Pels were hopeful to have Murphy back for the second leg of New Orleans’ back-to-back set, but he’ll join Murray on the sideline, as the latter gets a maintenance day. With both players out, guys like Yves Missi, Jeremiah Fears and Herbert Jones should take on additional minutes.

Murphy did not play in Thursday’s game against the Pistons. And with the Pelicans having a back-to-back, it was safe to assume that he would miss one of the next two games. If Murphy can play on Friday, he will likely fill the void that would be left by Dejounte Murray. Murray has not played both games of a back-to-back since returning from his Achilles tendon surgery, and he played 29 minutes against the Pistons.

Murphy stayed hot in this game and just scored 50 points in 24 hours against the Clippers, which helped push this winning streak to three games. He has been fantastic all season, though it has looked a little prettier lately with the performances leading to wins. The Pelicans have enjoyed a lot of success recently and will look to stay hot against the Cavaliers on Saturday to wrap up the week.

Murphy did a little bit of everything for the Pelicans in their win on Wednesday. Productive three-point shooting helped him conclude as one of two New Orleans players to log at least 20 points, and his activity on the glass led to a higher rebound total than any other Pelicans starter. Murphy was also active on the defensive end to round out another busy box score. The Pelicans will face the Clippers again on Thursday, which gives Murphy a chance to land another productive outing.

Murphy recorded a fine stat line in Monday’s win. He was exceptional inside the arc as a scorer and struggled from the perimeter before falling short of the 20-point mark for the second game in a row. Still, he facilitated and effectively made passes en route to a team-high in assists while also making a difference on the glass. Murphy added a few stocks on the defensive end, as well, to conclude with a well-rounded performance overall.

Murphy’s run continues, as he’s providing first-round value in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break. He was highly efficient against the Raptors, with the stat line only lacking a blocked shot. The lone negative for fantasy managers is that New Orleans plays just once more in Week 20, Friday night in Houston.

Murphy had another excellent game. The 25-year-old small forward led the Pelicans with 24 points on their way to a 20-point victory. The lone negative was that he exited with an upper back injury, but the Pelicans forward was on the bench with his teammates after having ice applied to the area. Since the start of February, Murphy has averaged 24.1 points and 4.7 assists. He’s also shooting 49 percent from the field and 48 percent from the three-point line in that time. The Pelicans have two games upcoming in Week 20, starting with a matchup against the Raptors on Wednesday.

Murphy has 64 points and 11 three-pointers in three games so far this week. The 25-year-old small forward led the Pelicans with 22 points and four three-pointers in Friday’s loss to the Suns. Murphy also had an impact on the defensive end with two steals and a block. He’s provided third-round per game value over the last two weeks. The Pelicans close out the week against the Wizards on Sunday.

Since returning from a shoulder injury that sidelined him for five games, Murphy has averaged 19.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 2.0 steals and 3.7 three-pointers while shooting 45.5 percent from the field. The Pelicans play two more games in Week 19, starting with Friday’s matchup with the Suns, and it isn’t guaranteed that Murphy will be available for both. If he sits on Friday, that spot in the lineup could go to Dejounte Murray (Achilles) after he was given Thursday night off.

The late upgrade is good news for Murphy III, who returned earlier this week after missing five games with a shoulder injury. There was some thought that the Pelicans would hold the 25-year-old out against a tanking Kings team, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. As a result, Murphy III is in a great spot for fantasy production.

Murphy, who recently returned to action after missing five games with a right shoulder contusion, is dealing with neck spasms. If he’s unable to play against the Kings, the Pelicans could look to Bryce McGowens to fill the void in the starting lineup.

This was Murphy’s second game back after missing five games with a shoulder injury. He scored 16 points in the first one, but he was more effective in this outing. Murphy has been excellent this season, but this two-game stretch hasn’t been his best. They have a back-to-back coming up on Thursday and Friday, but since it wasn’t a lower body injury, Murphy should be fine to suit up for both games.

Murphy is back after missing the last five games with a right shoulder contusion. Sunday’s game will be the first this season that he and Dejounte Murray (Achilles) have played together. If Zion Williamson (ankle) can’t play, Saddiq Bey and DeAndre Jordan should remain in the starting lineup. One will likely head to the bench if Zion plays.

Saturday’s game will be the fifth that Murphy has missed with a right shoulder contusion. With Dejounte Murray also out, for injury management reasons, it’s possible that Derik Queen returns to the starting lineup. However, fellow rookie Jeremiah Fears is another option for the Pelicans if they prefer to start a point guard.
