Maxey took a backseat to Joel Embiid once again, but he still got enough touches and shots to stuff the stat sheet in the Game 5 win. He has scored at least 20 points in every game this series, which is a trend that will need to continue for the 76eres to have a chance to win. Game 6 will be in Philadelphia on Thursday, where Maxey will look to keep up the scoring. This was also his best rebounding performance of the season, which is a trend that will hopefully continue.

Maxey shot the ball well in Game 4 and committed just one turnover, but the 76ers did not have enough firepower to run with the Celtics. Backcourt sidekick VJ Edgecombe (6/4/1/1) and wing Kelly Oubre Jr. (two points, four rebounds, one assist and one block) shot a combined 2-of-15 from the field, and the 76ers could not overcome those struggles, even with Joel Embiid back in the lineup. Maxey and the 76ers now head to Boston for Game 5 on Tuesday, needing a win to stave off elimination.

Maxey had 31 points, but he wasn’t efficient with 31 attempts from the field. The 25-year-old point guard only took two free throws all game. He made a three-pointer with less than nine minutes left in regulation to give the 76ers the lead, but only scored two points for the rest of the game. The 76ers will have to win Game 4 on Sunday to even the series after falling behind 2-1.

Halfway through the fourth quarter, the Celtics cut the 76ers’ lead to two points. The 25-year-old point guard proceeded to hit back-to-back three-pointers to essentially put the game on ice for Philadelphia. After taking just four three-pointers in the Game 1 loss, Maxey was 5-of-12 from behind the arc in Game 2. His scoring remains critical if Philadelphia is going to pull the upset in this series.

Maxey led the way offensively for the 76ers in Sunday’s series opener, but the Celtics made him work for everything. The 76ers’ point guard shot 40 percent from the field, including a 1-of-4 day from beyond the arc. During the regular season, Maxey averaged 8.6 three-point attempts per game. If Boston can successfully run Maxey off the line as they did in Game 1, this series may not last very long. Game 2 is scheduled for Tuesday night.

Maxey stepped up to lead the 76ers in scoring and help them return to the playoffs. With Joel Embiid (appendicitis) still out, Maxey will have to continue to run the show for Philadelphia, which should lead to more strong scoring performances. They’ll head to Boston for Game 1 of their first-round series on Sunday. Embiid could return during the series, but it will likely be at least a few games in, meaning this will continue to be Maxey’s show to run.

Maxey and the 76ers closed the season with back-to-back wins. The 25-year-old shooting guard was excellent against the Bucks on Sunday, dropping 21 points on 13 attempts from the field. A top five fantasy player this season, Maxey will be the 76ers’ leader entering the Play-In Tournament with Joel Embiid (appendicitis) still sidelined.

Though it wasn’t his most efficient shooting night, Maxey was able to have a strong scoring performance to help Philadelphia snap a three-game losing streak. It was also great to see Maxey have his first 30-point game since before his 10-game absence with a finger injury. With Joel Embiid (appendicitis) set to miss some time, Maxey will have to take on even more responsibility on the offensive end to carry the 76ers through the play-in tournament. That’s just more of what he’s done all season long.

Maxey played 33 minutes against the Rockets and finished as Philadelphia’s leading scorer. The versatile combo guard used the three-point shot to find most of his production on Thursday, while also making some contributions as a passer. While the sixth-year guards’ numbers were solid, they weren’t exceptional — the Sixers will almost certainly need Maxey to perform at a higher level down the stretch of the season, so long as Joel Embiid is out of the lineup recovering from injury.

Maxey logged 40 minutes on Monday but recorded an underwhelming final stat line. In his lowest-scoring game in over two months, inefficient shooting both inside and outside the arc was a big factor. And while Maxey came close to notching double-digit assists, he committed four turnovers in the process. Monday’s game aside, Maxey has played well down the stretch of the regular season. He’s constantly been one of the Sixers’ best fantasy performers, when healthy.

Maxey led all scorers with 23 points, but this was not one of his better games. The 76ers guard, who Ausar Thompson hounded for most of the night, recorded just one assist in 33 minutes. Given how many fantasy managers have benefitted from Maxey’s production throughout the season, this was a disappointing end to Week 23 for those competing for league championships. For managers whose seasons will be active in Week 24, Philadelphia plays four games.

Maxey has dished out eight assists or more in each of his last four appearances. Add in the points, rebounds and blocks, and Friday was a good night for the 76ers’ star point guard. Maxey shot the ball well, making over 50 percent of his field-goal attempts. Philadelphia plays once more in Week 23, as they host the Pistons on Saturday. That stands to be a stiffer test for Maxey and the 76ers than Friday’s win over the Timberwolves.

Maxey had an efficient night at the office on Wednesday, shooting 60 percent from the field and committing just two turnovers. While he did take a fall during the second half where it appeared that his right hand got caught underneath his body, Maxey was fine. The 76ers had to put their starters back into the game after the Wizards trimmed the margin to 12, resulting in Maxey logging 34 minutes on a night when the team may have preferred to get him a little more rest.

Maxey did not shoot the ball well in the 76ers’ first game of Week 23, but the overall production compensated for that. In the two games he’s played since returning from a finger injury, the 76ers’ point guard has totaled 14 rebounds, 17 assists, one steal, three blocks and five three-pointers. And, as many fantasy managers know, poor-shooting nights like Monday are not the norm for Maxey. The 76ers face the Wizards on Wednesday in what stands to be an excellent matchup for Maxey.

Back in the 76ers’ lineup after missing three weeks with a finger injury, Maxey was aggressive from the start. He made his first three three-point attempts and finished with a complete stat line while shooting well over 50 percent from the field. Just as encouraging for fantasy managers was Maxey playing 43 of a possible 48 minutes. Conditioning clearly wasn’t an issue for the star guard. Philadelphia plays four games in Week 23, starting with the Heat on Monday.

Maxey is back after missing three weeks with a finger injury, giving the 76ers a welcome boost as they look to avoid the play-in tournament. His return pushes Quentin Grimes ot the bench, limiting Grimes’ fantasy value. There has been no word regarding a potential minutes limit for Maxey, but he doesn’t need heavy minutes to provide reliable fantasy value. VJ Edgecombe, Paul George, Dominick Barlow and Joel Embiid complete the starting five.

Sidelined since suffering a finger injury late in a March 7 loss to the Hawks, Maxey is listed as questionable for Saturday. If he’s able to return, there could be a minutes limit in place. Maxey should replace Quentin Grimes in the starting lineup once he’s able to play.

Maxey has a tendon injury in his right pinky finger, which is his shooting hand. The injury occurred in Saturday’s loss to Atlanta, and he missed Monday’s game against the Cavaliers and had already been ruled out against the Grizzlies on Tuesday. This will have Maxey being re-evaluated on March 31, though he could remain sidelined longer than that. VJ Edgecombe is set to serve as the starting point guard against Memphis and could remain in that role for most of this month, with Cameron Payne filling out the backup minutes.

Maxey sprained a finger on his right late in Saturday’s loss to the Hawks. While a fracture was ruled out, the All-Star point guard will miss at least the first two games of Philadelphia’s five-game week. The hope is that Maxey won’t be out for much longer than that. Cameron Payne is likely to serve as the starting point guard, and he’s worthy of streaming consideration in deep leagues.

The good news is that Maxey has been diagnosed with a sprained finger on his right hand, ruling out a fracture following his injury late in Saturday’s loss to the Hawks. His absence on Monday and Tuesday likely means Cameron Payne will move into the starting lineup. While erratic, the opportunity makes Payne a worthwhile streamer in deep leagues.

While Maxey finished Saturday’s defeat with an excellent stat line, that was the furthest thing from anyone’s mind when he left with 16.2 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. The All-Star guard injured his right hand when he collided with teammate Adem Bona. Maxey was scheduled to undergo X-rays on the hand, but no announcement has been made regarding the injury’s severity. If he has to miss time, Cam Payne and even Kyle Lowry could figure more prominently within the 76ers’ rotation.

After putting up an inefficient 33 points in Tuesday’s blowout loss to the Spurs, Maxey didn’t have the best night shooting the basketball against the Jazz, either. Given the players who were unavailable for the 76ers, it’s unsurprising that Maxey would struggle because of the attention he’s received defensively. The good news for fantasy managers was that he recorded a complete stat line, including three blocks. The three rejections matched his season-high, which he recorded on two other occasions.

Maxey led the 76ers in points, but needed ridiculous volume to get there — 34 field-goal attempts is three short of cracking the top 100 all-time in attempts in a game. The 25-year-old point guard started the game 5-of-20 from the field and the 76ers while Maxey was -9 in 42 minutes. Maxey has provided second overall per game value over the last two weeks. The 76ers have three games in the upcoming week, starting with a matchup against the Spurs on Tuesday.

Maxey had it rolling during the first quarter of Thursday’s game, scoring 20 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field. He made three three-pointers during the period, surpassing Allen Iverson for the most made three-pointers by a 76er. Maxey would make two more, pushing his tally to 887 in his 76ers’ career, but he cooled off after a hot start. The good news for fantasy managers is that the overall stat line compensated for the damage done by his poor field-goal percentage. The 76ers end their Week 18 slate on Sunday in Boston.

While he wasn’t as explosive as he was in Sunday’s win over the Timberwolves, Maxey has now scored at least 30 points in two straight and four of his last six games. Even better for fantasy managers was the overall line, with the 76ers’ guard finishing one rebound and two assists shy of a triple-double. Philadelphia plays two more games in Week 18, starting with the Heat on Thursday.

The play of the night came midway through the third quarter when Maxey drove the lane and dunked with his left hand over two Timberwolves. The 25-year-old point guard bounced back in a big way after having 27 points in the loss to the Pelicans on Saturday. Maxey has provided third-round per game value over the last two weeks, according to Basketball Monster. The 76ers have three games upcoming in Week 18, starting with a matchup against the Pacers on Tuesday.

Maxey remains one of the most consistent scorers in the fantasy landscape, topping 25 points in seven of eight games since the start of February. He’s shouldering an even greater offensive role with Joel Embiid on the shelf due to a lingering right knee issue. The 25-year-old scoring machine is averaging 28.9 points through 54 games this season, delivering first-round fantasy value in the process. The 76ers have a quick turnaround when they face the Timberwolves on Sunday before a three-game week against the Pacers, Heat and Celtics.

Maxey led the 76ers in scoring with Joel Embiid sidelined. It wasn’t the best game for the 25-year-old point guard as he had 28 points on 23 attempts from the field. Maxey was 4-of-11 from behind the three-point line. Maxey is fourth-overall in per game value on the season, according to Basketball Monster. The 76ers have a back-to-back this weekend against the Pelicans on Saturday and the Timberwolves on Sunday.

For the first time since January 11-12, Maxey has scored 30 points or more in consecutive games. With Joel Embiid (knee) once again out, the 76ers’ point guard did not have enough help offensively. Maxey now heads to the All-Star Game, where he’ll be a starter for the first time. After the break, the 76ers play three games, starting with the Hawks on February 19.

With Joel Embiid (knee) unavailable, even more of the scoring responsibilities fell upon Maxey’s shoulders. He’s now scored 30 points or more in 22 games, with Monday’s being his first since January 29 against the Kings. Despite Maxey’s efforts, the 76ers fell behind big during the third quarter in the final game of their road trip, losing 135-118. Philadelphia returns home for its final game before the All-Star break, Wednesday night against the Knicks.
