Due to injuries, Olbrich started the Bulls’ final two games of the regular season. While the rookie center offered limited value in Friday’s loss to the Magic, he recorded his first triple-double on Sunday. The 55th overall pick in last summer’s draft, Olbrich played in 37 NBA games this season. While not worth the risk in redraft leagues, his value in dynasty leagues next season will depend on whether Olbrich can secure a standard contract.

A starter in recent games, Olbrich is available for Sunday’s season finale. He should retain that starting center role since Nick Richards and Guerschon Yabusele remain out due to their injuries.

With Nick Richards (knee) set to miss another game, Guerschon Yabusele will start for the Bulls. Olbrich should also see more minutes, though that still doesn’t make him a priority in fantasy leagues.

Olbrich is good to go for Sunday’s game, and it’s possible that he plays rotation minutes since the Bulls won’t have Nick Richards. However, there’s no need to consider adding Olbrich in fantasy leagues.

Olbrich has been upgraded from probable to available, and he will once again serve as the backup center. While this will be valuable playing time for the rookie center, he’s unlikely to get the minutes needed to impact fantasy basketball. He should only be rostered in dynasty leagues.

Olbrich was also probable for Monday’s loss to the Magic, a game in which he played 12 minutes off the bench. His playing time will be dictated by the availability of Jalen Smith and Zach Collins, who are both questionable for Wednesday. If either can play, the rookie will likely be dropped from the rotation entirely.

Olbrich hasn’t had much of a place in Chicago’s rotation, but with Jalen Smith (hamstring) out on Saturday, he was able to log 11 minutes. He’ll likely fill out the backup center minutes again on Monday with Smith still out, but that will only lead to minutes in the teens.
