Plowden continues to pour in the points for the Kings. This was his fourth 20-point game of the season, with all of those coming over the past month. He spent most of this season in the G League, but he has taken advantage of his opportunity to play a larger role role since the trade deadline. He has played well, which should continue in the season finale on Sunday.

The Kings are without Malik Monk and DeMar DeRozan for Sunday’s game. Clifford and Plowden move from the bench to the starting lineup, with the former playing both games of Sacramento’s back-to-back after missing two games with a foot injury.

Plowden has scored at least 20 points in each of his last three appearances. The 23 points he scored on Thursday represent a new career-high for the wing, who shot 6-of-10 from beyond the arc. Plowden did not provide much value beyond the points and three-pointers, but the opportunities have been there. With Nique Clifford (foot) sidelined for the rest of the week, Plowden is worth a look in deep leagues since the Kings play on Saturday and Sunday.

Plowden surpassed his career high for scoring in this game, which he previously set five days before this game in his most recent appearance. He has scored in double figures in eight straight games, which is impressive for a player that has scored in double figures just 13 times in his career. Plowden should continue to play a significant role for Sacramento for the remainder of the season, giving him some upside as an option in deep leagues.

A sore right foot will keep Plowden out of Sunday’s game. With Nique Clifford available after sitting out Thursday’s loss to the 76ers, the rookie should reclaim his place in the starting lineup after being replaced by Plowden the last time out.

Two days removed from making his third start of the season in a loss to the 76ers, Plowden is on the injury report for Sunday with a sore right foot. Nique Clifford, who Plowden filled in for on Thursday, is off the injury report. As a result, Plowden is likely to come off the bench if he’s cleared. If he can’t play, Patrick Baldwin Jr. has been made available and could absorb some of the available minutes.

With no Nique Clifford (hamstring), Plowden was given his third start of the season. He took advantage of the opportunity, recording the first 20-point game of his NBA career. Plowden did not provide much beyond the points and three-pointers, but Clifford’s injury may open the door for him to become fantasy-relevant during the final weeks of the regular season.

With Nique Clifford sidelined with a hamstring injury, Plowden will enter the starting unit. This will be his third start of the season, and he has scored in double figures in six straight games. He’ll look to keep that streak alive in an expanded role.

Plowden signed a two-way deal with the Kings this summer and spent most of the year in the G League. However, he has taken on a larger role in February, and this was the second time in their last three games that he has scored exactly 19 points, which is his career high for scoring that he initially set last January with the Hawks. However, he shot perfect from the floor in this one. He should continue to play big minutes and have a role for the Kings throughout silly season.

The Kings won’t have Zach LaVine or Domantas Sabonis for Saturday’s game, leaving head coach Doug Christie with two spots to fill. Raynaud will continue to start with Sabonis out for another game, while LaVine’s place will be filled by Plowden. Of the two spot starters, Raynaud offers a higher fantasy upside.

Kevin Durant is the headliner of the deal, and now these teams are trying to fill in the gaps to make the trade work. Plowden made a few appearances with the Hawks last year and will now join the Suns, though it’s unclear if they will keep him around.
