Porziņģis will be sidelined for a second and third straight game as Golden State completes a quick back-to-back set against New Orleans and Memphis. It’s unclear when KP will return, but Al Horford and Quinten Post should continue to soak up minutes in his absence.

Porziņģis was added with an illness about 30 minutes prior to this and was deemed questionable. Now that he is officially out, Quinten Post should return to the rotation and fill the backup minutes at center alongside Al Horford.

Porziņģis was initially listed as probable for this game with an Achilles issue that he has been managing in recent weeks, but he is now dealing with an illness. He has already missed a ton of time this season with illnesses, and this could force him to miss this game against Denver. In that scenario, Quinten Post would likely take on extra minutes in his place.

Porziņǵis made his Warriors’ debut in Thursday’s loss to the Celtics, playing 17 minutes off the bench. Given the amount of time he missed due to a lingering Achilles injury, fantasy managers should expect a similar workload for Porziņǵis on Sunday. If he can’t play, there may be room in the rotation for Quinten Post, but that isn’t guaranteed.

Not only was Thursday’s game the first for Porziņǵis in a Warriors’ uniform, but it was his first since January 7. The forward/center came off the bench against the Celtics, shooting the ball well in his 17 minutes of play. While fantasy managers will have hoped for more rebounding and shot blocking from Porziņǵis, his being on the court should be good enough for now. With Al Horford (5/8/4 with one block and one three-pointer) playing 27 minutes off the bench, there was no room in the rotation for Quinten Post, who picked up a DNP-CD.

Porziņǵis is officially available to make his Warriors’ debut on Thursday, and this will be his first game action since January 7. Not only will Porziņǵis come off the bench in his first appearance for the team, but he will be under a minutes restriction. Quinten Post may eventually lose out on playing time, but Porziņǵis’ restriction may keep the second-year center in the rotation for the time being.

Porziņǵis was a full participant in the scrimmage the Warriors held on Wednesday, opening the door for him to make his debut for the team on Thursday. If Porziņǵis can play, fantasy managers should expect him to be under a minutes restriction. Quinten Post, whose minutes have decreased recently, may take another hit with Porziņǵis in the fold.

According to Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, the team hopes Porziņǵis will make his debut in their first game out of the All-Star break, on February 19 against the Celtics. And once he’s cleared to play, he will do so in short stints. With Jimmy Butler (knee) done for the season, a healthy Porziņǵis can give the Warriors a needed boost on both ends of the floor.

Kerr told reporters that Porzingis met with the Warriors team doctor and the plan is to keep the 30-year-old center out through the All-Star break. The idea is that with some rest Porzingis will be ready to go for the second half of the season. It’s a fine idea, but health issues have followed Porzingis since the 2024 NBA Finals, making him difficult to trust in fantasy basketball.

Acquired from the Hawks in exchange for Jonathan Kuminga and Buddy Hield, Porziņǵis missed time due to Achilles tendinitis before the trade. While he will join his new teammates in Los Angeles on Friday ahead of Saturday’s game against the Lakers, the 7-foot-2 forward/center is not expected to play until Monday’s home game against the Grizzlies.

The Warriors have been mentioned as one of the teams hoping to move for Giannis Antetokounmpo, but that appears unlikely after the trade they reportedly pulled off late Wednesday night. Porziņǵis can provide excellent production as a floor spacer, but he has struggled to remain healthy. The 7-foot-2 forward/center last played on January 7, with an Achilles injury sidelining him for most of the games that he missed. If and when he’s healthy, Porziņǵis can be an excellent fantasy option, but that’s been the entire issue this season.

Porziņģis has missed the last 13 games, with most of the absences attributed to an Achilles injury. He missed Tuesday’s win over the Heat due to illness. Christian Koloko and Mouhamed Gueye played rotation minutes against Miami, but neither did enough to merit being rostered in fantasy leagues.

Initially cleared to play after missing Atlanta’s last 12 games with an Achilles injury, Porziņǵis has been scratched due to an illness. With Onyeka Okongwu (mouth) still out, the Hawks will be left to once again rely on Christian Koloko and Mouhamed Gueye to fill the void at the center position.

KP is available to return following a 12-game absence, and it’s unclear if he’ll immediately rejoin the starting five or play limited minutes off the bench. In either scenario, Christian Koloko will surely see rotational minutes until Onyeka Okongwu (dental) is cleared to return.

Porziņģis has missed the last 12 games for Atlanta, but he could be back against Miami. Onyeka Okongwu (dental) is still out, so Christian Koloko could remain a starter, with Porziņģis coming off the bench to manage his minutes. Still, Porziņģis can make a big impact in limited action.

Porziņǵis is participating in basketball activity, but he’s still at least a week away from returning to the court. Onyeka Okongwu has been soaking up minutes in KP’s absence, and he’s been a strong producer for fantasy managers. Mouhamed Gueye has earned some additional backup minutes, but he’s only worth a look in deep leagues.

Counting Monday’s game against the Bucks, Porziņǵis has missed Atlanta’s last six games with left Achilles tendinitis. His continued absence means more rotation minutes for Mouhamed Gueye, who has served as the primary backup to Onyeka Okongwu. Recent signing Christian Koloko may also get some run, but neither he nor Gueye is in a position to affect fantasy basketball.

Porziņǵis will miss a sixth consecutive game as he deals with an Achilles tendon injury. Mouhamed Gueye should remain the first option off the bench behind starter Onyeka Okongwu, with Asa Newell picking up a few minutes as the third option.

Porziņģis is set to miss a fifth straight game. Mouhamed Gueye should continue to fill out the backup center minutes, with Asa Newell and the recently-signed Christian Koloko also potentially sprinkling in some minutes. However, Onyeka Okongwu will continue to log most of the minutes at center.

Porziņģis will miss his third game in a row with an Achilles injury. Mouhamed Gueye and Asa Newell will see rotation minutes with the 30-year-old power forward sidelined, though neither is worth rostering in most redraft leagues.

Porziņģis did not play in Friday’s win over the Nuggets, which led to more rotation minutes for Mouhamed Gueye and Asa Newell. Neither will be worth the streaming risk if Porziņģis remains out since starter Onyeka Okongwu is healthy.

Porzingis popped up on the injury report Friday afternoon and was subsequently ruled out with an Achilles injury. The 30-year-old power forward hasn’t exactly been the pinnacle of health in recent years so there’s reason for legitimate concern surrounding the injury. With Porzingis out Friday, Mouhamed Gueye will fill in as the backup center. There’s no timetable for Porzingis’ return at this point.

Uh oh. Randomly popping up with an Achilles injury is not a good sign, especially for a player with the injury history that Porziņģis has. Mouhamed Gueye should fill out the backup center minutes if Porziņģis is out. This is a situation worth keeping tabs on since it could end up being more severe.

Porziņģis did not play in Saturday’s loss to Toronto, as it was Atlanta’s second game in as many nights. He should continue to come off the bench, with Onyeka Okongwu serving as the Hawks’ starting center. Given how well Okongwu has played this season, that part of the Hawks’ rotation may not change anytime soon.

The Hawks are calling this “return to competition reconditioning”, but it’s really that they don’t want to play him on a back-to-back. Asa Newell and Mouhamed Gueye will fill out the backup center minutes behind Onyeka Okongwu.

After missing Atlanta’s last 10 games with an illness, Porziņģis was available off the bench in this game. In just 17 minutes, he was able to make a large impact. His last two appearances have been weeks apart, but in both games, he poured in the points in limited action. Hopefully he’ll remain available moving forward, but his health is worth keeping an eye on. Even if he remains a reserve for Atlanta, he’ll be a highly impactful option for fantasy managers.

Porziņģis will make his return after missing nearly a month due to an illness. He’ll likely have his minutes restricted and continue to come off the bench, which is good news for Onyeka Okongwu. Porziņģis played 21 minutes off the bench in his most recent appearance and was productive. He’s still worth keeping an eye on, but hopefully Porziņģis is in the clear with these illness issues.

Porziņģis has been sidelined for the last two games and will miss at least one more. However, following Monday’s game, he will be considered “day-to-day.” That means there is a chance he returns to play the Timberwolves on Wednesday, though Onyeka Okongwu will continue to start until that happens.
