Plumlee signed a 10-day deal with the Spurs last week, but he has been sidelined due to “return to competition reconditioning” for the four games since then. If he isn’t back to take on the Nets on Thursday, he’ll spend the entirety of this 10-day too out of shape to suit up.

Plumlee will miss a second straight game as he continues to work his way back from a strained groin suffered while with the Hornets. His continued absence does not affect fantasy basketball since Victor Wembanyama, Luke Kornet and Kelly Olynyk are available.

Plumlee, who was sidelined with a strained groin during his time with the Hornets, is still getting his conditioning up to par. Once cleared, he’s unlikely to affect fantasy basketball as long as Victor Wembanyama and Luke Kornet are healthy.

Sent to Oklahoma City in exchange for Ousmane Dieng, who was rerouted to Chicago and then to Milwaukee, Plumlee was waived on February 4. While his addition to the roster gives the Spurs another frontcourt option in the short term, the veteran center is highly unlikely to affect fantasy basketball. Plumlee can be left on the waiver wire.

Dieng has already been rerouted to Chicago. Plumlee will provide some depth down low, but he’s past his days of impacting fantasy basketball.

While Plumlee is sidelined, Moussa Diabaté should continue to see big minutes until Ryan Kalkbrenner (elbow) returns. PJ Hall will likely be Diabaté’s backup and see rotational minutes while Kalkbrenner is sidelined.

Plumlee will miss a second straight game with a strained right groin. Due to his and Ryan Kalkbrenner’s (elbow) absences, Moussa Diabaté received the starting nod on Tuesday and should retain that role for the foreseeable future. He’s worth streaming in deeper leagues. Also, Tidjane Salaün’s playing time has increased, but he has not reached the point where he should be streamed.

Plumlee was limited to ten minutes before exiting with a sore right groin. With Ryan Kalkbrenner already out, the Hornets now turn to Moussa Diabaté at the center position. And when he needs a rest, the Hornets will have to go small, with either Tidjane Salaün or Miles Bridges playing center in a smaller lineup.

The Hornets are without Ryan Kalkbrenner (elbow) for Monday’s game, opening up a spot in the starting lineup. However, it’s Plumlee who receives the starting nod rather than Moussa Diabaté. Getting to start raises Plumlee’s ceiling, but he remains a risky play regardless of league size/format.

The Hornets are down three starters for Sunday’s game, as LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller and Ryan Kalkbrenner have been ruled out. Sexton, James and Plumlee move into the starting lineup, with the latter making his first start of the season. That’s surprising, but Moussa Diabaté may still play more minutes despite coming off the bench.

It’s a sensible move for the Hornets, who sent center Mark Williams to the Suns on draft night. Now the 35-year-old Plumlee leaves the Suns for the Hornets in free agency. He figures to mostly serve as a veteran presence and mentor to Ryan Kalkbrenner, who the Hornets acquired with the No. 34 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.

Four of the five starters from Friday’s game will remain the same, with Plumlee replacing Oso Ighodaro as the lone change. Ighodaro should still play a significant reserve role despite coming off the bench in Game 82.

Plumlee will miss a second-straight game, which means that rookie Oso Ighodaro will continue to split the minutes at center with starter Nick Richards. Ighodaro played 20 minutes on Wednesday and contributed four points, six rebounds and three assists.

During Monday’s win over the Raptors, Plumlee strained his left quad, while Allen has missed Phoenix’s last four games. Plumlee’s absence means Oso Ighodaro will move into the backup center role, and he’s played more minutes than starter Nick Richards in the previous two games. Allen’s continued absence means additional playing time for Cody Martin, but he won’t impact fantasy basketball.
