The Celtics, who secured the No. 2 seed in the East with Friday’s win over the Pelicans, will sit most of their key rotation players on Sunday. Pritchard and Hauser not playing would free up additional minutes for some of Boston’s rarely used perimeter reserves, including Ron Harper Jr. As for Vučević, his absence would open a spot in the rotation for Amari Williams.

Pritchard came off the bench, but led the Celtics with 30 minutes played. The 28-year-old point guard had 21 points on 14 attempts from the field, five three-pointers and 10 assists. Pritchard provided seventh-round per game value this season. After another great year, he’s a candidate to sit out the Celtics’ last game on Sunday since they’ve now clinched the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.

With no Jaylen Brown, the Celtics were going to need others to step up offensively on Thursday. Unsurprisingly, Pritchard answered the call, recording his first 20-point game since March 29 against the Hornets. He scored eight of his points in the third quarter, helping the Celtics erase a 12-point deficit and take a two-point lead into the fourth quarter. Pritchard’s 23 points weren’t enough to help Boston take home the victory, but they’re still well-positioned to be the No. 2 seed in the East.

Pritchard moved into the starting lineup with Derrick White (knee) sidelined. It’s no surprise the 28-year-old point guard had more of a role in the offense in this game. Pritchard even led the Celtics with 37 minutes played. His scoring was an excellent complement to Jayson Tatum, who had 32 points. The Celtics next game is Monday against the Hawks and Pritchard would have a higher ceiling again if White remains out.

Pritchard stepped up on the offensive end with Jaylen Brown (Achilles) sidelined. He had his second-highest scoring performance of the season, surpassed only by his 42-point outing in November. Pritchard has been productive all season, though he hasn’t been as explosive as a reserve. This was a fantastic performance for him, but managers shouldn’t expect him to put together outings like this one often. However, if Brown continues to miss time, Pritchard could receive a short-term boost.

The Celtics received 35 points from their bench on Wednesday, with Pritchard leading the way, to no one’s surprise. Having shot a combined 9-of-24 from the field in his prior two appearances, the Celtics’ guard was a bit more efficient on Wednesday. Pritchard shot 4-of-6 from three, with the four makes being the most for him in a game since he hit five in a March 16 win over the Suns. Baylor Scheierman also reached double figures off the bench, finishing with 11 points, five rebounds, one assist and three three-pointers.

After ending his Week 20 with a four-point effort on 2-of-11 shooting in a March 14 win over the Wizards, Pritchard has recorded consecutive 19-point stat lines. He’s made eight of 16 three-point attempts in Boston’s first two games of Week 21 while also recording 13 assists. Had Pritchard not begun the season as a starter, he would be a candidate for Sixth Man of the Year, which he won last season. With Jayson Tatum back in the fold, the Celtics have the look of a team capable of playing deep into the spring.

Pritchard struggled with his shooting on Thursday, especially outside the arc. The subpar shooting efficiency led to a relatively unspectacular scoring performance in the loss, on a night when the Celtics desperately needed offensive production. Pritchard also didn’t provide much as a facilitator, and didn’t come away with any stocks. Fantasy managers will hope for a bounce-back performance on Saturday against the Wizards.

The Celtics are without Derrick White and Jayson Tatum for Thursday’s game, opening two spots in the starting lineup. Pritchard and Scheierman are the replacements. While the former is already rostered in most fantasy leagues, the latter is worth picking up in 12-team formats if he’s on the waiver wire.

Pritchard misses Tuesday’s game against the Spurs but was listed as probable for this contest against the Thunder, so he always seemed likely to play. With Jayson Tatum (Achilles) ruled out on Thursday, Pritchard should return to a sizable role as the first man off the bench.

Pritchard is on track to play after sitting out Tuesday’s loss to the Spurs with neck spasms. Ron Harper Jr. played 33 minutes off the bench, knocking down six three-pointers and scoring 22 points. His playing time will decrease with Pritchard back in the fold, but Harper may have earned another look with his showing against the Spurs.

Pritchard will miss just his second game of the season, and he’ll leave some vacated minutes behind for Ron Harper Jr. and Jordan Walsh. Baylor Scheierman could also pick up some extra playing time against San Antonio.

Pritchard has landed on the Celtics’ injury report due to neck spasms. If he’s unable to play on Tuesday, there may be room on the back end of the rotation for Ron Harper Jr. or Jordan Walsh. Neither would be worth streaming in that role.

Pritchard was at his best when the Celtics needed him most, shooting 3-of-3 from the field and scoring nine points in the fourth quarter to help hold off the Cavaliers. The final line featured quality production in points, asssits and percentages, an unsurprising development for the reigning NBA Sixth Man of the Year.

After getting off to a hot start in his first two games out of the All-Star break, totaling 56 points, inconsistent production has been an issue for Pritchard. In the six games before Friday, he averaged 9.7 points on 34.4 percent shooting. Pritchard was considerably better against the Mavericks, shooting a shade under 50 percent from the field while providing solid value in multiple categories. He’s another player who should have more room to operate with Jayson Tatum (Achilles) returning to action.

The undrafted rookie out of Iowa spent time with the OKC Blue of the G League, and he’ll offer some emergency depth for the parent club. Sandfort isn’t on the fantasy radar.

With Jaylen Brown (illness) sidelined, the Celtics ran more of their offense through Pritchard when he was on the floor Monday night. After going scoreless on 0-of-4 shooting in Sunday’s win over the 76ers, he rebounded nicely in Milwaukee, getting up a team-high 23 shots. And the nine assists were the most in a game for Pritchard since December 20, when he recorded ten against the Raptors.

Apparently, getting to sleep in one’s own bed can go a long way toward ending a shooting slump. Pritchard finished the Celtics’ road trip on a bad note, shooting 3-of-19 from the field in games against the Suns and Nuggets. He snapped out of that funk against the lottery-bound Nets, shooting 75 percent from the field overall and 4-of-5 from beyond the arc. Pritchard, whose production took off when he was moved to the bench in early February, will look to build on Friday’s performance when the Celtics host the 76ers on Sunday.

After totaling 56 points in the first two games of Boston’s four-game road trip, Pritchard’s production fell off considerably in the last two. Counting Tuesday’s win over the Suns, he produced 11 points on 3-of-19 shooting from the field. To say that Pritchard is likely looking forward to the Celtics getting back to Boston would be an understatement. Fantasy managers should not be too concerned, however, as Pritchard’s overall production this season has been solid.

Since Pritchard has started 48 games this season, he won’t be eligible to repeat as NBA Sixth Man of the Year. That said, his return to the bench has paid major dividends for the Celtics and the fantasy managers who have Pritchard on their rosters. He lit up the Lakers for 30 points on Sunday and has scored at least 24 points in six of the seven games he’s played since the lineup change. Since Boston’s February 3 win over the Mavericks, Pritchard has been a top-25 player in eight- and nine-cat formats, according to Basketball Monster.

Pritchard continues to put up excellent offensive numbers since being moved to the bench. The Celtics guard has scored at least 24 points in five of the six games he’s played since the lineup change, providing third-round per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats during this stretch, according to Basketball Monster. Pritchard is already rostered in 95 percent of Yahoo! leagues, so there’s no need to scour the waiver wire in most leagues. Those who have him should keep the guard, as he has the potential to be a difference-maker in the fantasy playoffs.

Not only has the reigning Sixth Man of the Year not taken a step back since returning to the bench, but he’s actually been better than he was as a starter. Pritchard has scored at least 24 points in four of the five games he’s played since the lineup change, with Sunday’s loss to the Knicks being the exception. Over the past two weeks, Pritchard has offered top-50 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats according to Basketball Monster. Boston plays two games after the All-Star break to finish out Week 17, starting with the Warriors on February 19.

Pritchard has scored at least 24 points in each of the last three games. The move to the bench appears to have enhanced the guard’s value, an unsurprising development since he won Sixth Man of the Year last season. Just as crucial for fantasy managers is that Pritchard is still playing starters’ minutes. Those who have him rostered may consider selling high in the final days before the default fantasy trade deadline, but they may be better off holding onto Pritchard.

Pritchard came off the bench for both games of the Celtics’ Texas two-step, and had a significant impact. In addition to giving the second unit needed ball-handling, the “P Rabbit” totaled 53 points in wins over the Mavericks and Rockets. With Anfernee Simons no longer in the picture, Pritchard will likely remain in the sixth-man role. And that may actually boost his fantasy value.

Pritchard, who won the NBA Sixth Man of the Year award last season, started each of the Celtics’ first 48 games of the 2025-26 campaign. That changed on Tuesday, but there were no issues with the adjustment for the guard. Pritchard shot 60 percent from the field, recorded seven assists, and still played 35 minutes. Baylor Scheierman (3/7/3/1/1 with one three-pointer) started and played 28 minutes, offering limited value in that role. Whether he starts or comes off the bench, Pritchard is a player who has to be rostered in all leagues.

With Jaylen Brown (hamstring, knee) sidelined for this game, Pritchard took over as the focal point of the offense. He has typically had big nights when Brown is out of the lineup, and that was the case once again in this one. In four games without Brown, he has averaged 26.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 8.5 assists and 3.8 three-pointers per game. He has been fantastic all season, but this was one of his best performances. If Brown remains out against the Bucks on Sunday, Pritchard should be in for another monster outing.

Pritchard wasn’t the only Celtic to struggle with his shot on Wednesday. He missed all three of his three-point attempts, and Boston shot 9-of-34 as a team. Every so often, the Celtics have a night when their perimeter shots aren’t falling. Thursday was one of those nights. As for Pritchard, he’s been close to a top-100 player throughout the season, so there’s no need to be concerned about Thursday’s performance.

Pritchard had a good night at the office, but there was some concern during the fourth quarter after he appeared to jam his left pinky finger while attempting to corral a rebound. The good news is that he returned to the bench after a quick trip to the locker room and checked back in during the final minute to help put the game away. As for the production, Pritchard has now shot 12-of-25 from three over his last three appearances. With the limited defensive production, his fantasy ceiling isn’t particularly high, but the Celtics’ guard has offered a reliable floor.

Pritchard has been inconsistent recently, but he was able to have a big night in this game. This was his highest-scoring game in over a month, and it was enough to help Boston get the win in double overtime. Pritchard has seen a bump in usage and production this year, and his efficiency has only dropped off slightly. He’ll look to stay hot in Chicago on Saturday.

Pritchard was back in the lineup after missing his first game of the season on Saturday. The game before that, he was held to a season-low two points, but he was able to get back on track in this one. He didn’t contribute big numbers, but he was efficient as a scorer. Pritchard has been productive for most of the season and should have no issues getting back on track against the Pacers on Wednesday.
