Pritchard showcases his signature skillset in this one, consistently driving to the basket and creating shot opportunities beyond the arc, parachuting in whenever the Celtics needed to create something out of nothing on a possession. The 27-year-old sharp-shooting facilitator dished out eight assists while scoring 16 of his 27 points in the second half to help Boston pull away for a relatively easy win. He’s been a phenomenal fantasy contributor over the past two weeks, averaging 17.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.3 blocks across seven games during that span.

The Celtics had a 21-point lead at halftime after Pritchard hit one of his classic buzzer-beating three-pointers at the end of the second quarter. Most of the rest of his points came on pull-up shots in the lane. Pritchard has provided sixth-round per game value this season. The Celtics will be back on the floor Wednesday against the Nuggets.

Pritchard poured in 14 points in the second quarter, fueling a 45-point outburst that sent Boston into halftime with a comfortable 75–61 advantage. The 27-year-old’s offensive game continues to evolve as he’s continued to perfect his combination of step back three-pointers in addition to his ability to create space for easy shots in the paint on drives to the basket. He’s produced third-round fantasy value over the past week, averaging a robust 25.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 6.7 assists and one steal over his last three games.

Pritchard dropped 33 points in the win over the Raptors on Saturday, but his scoring came back down to earth against the Pacers on Monday. The 27-year-old point guard had 11 points and has now scored 12 or fewer points in four of his last five games. The Celtics have a rematch with the Pacers on Friday.

Pritchard shouldered the loin share of the scoring workload with franchise cornerstone Jaylen Brown sitting out due to illness, hoisting a team-high 24 shots and knocking down 4-of-9 from three-point range. The 27-year-old sharpshooter eclipsed the 30-point plateau for the first time since going off for a season-high 42 points back on November 30. He’s averaging 16 points, 4.8 rebounds and 6.4 assists over the past two weeks, delivering sixth-round fantasy value during that span. The Celtics are back in action on Monday when they host the floundering Pacers.

Pritchard has struggled with his shot since the calendar flipped to December. Counting Monday’s 5-of-14 performance, he’s shooting 37.9 percent from the field in six games. The good news for fantasy managers is that Pritchard has provided solid value in rebounds and assists, allowing him to hold onto top-150 value in eight-cat formats in December. Pritchard’s season-long value places him just outside the top-100, well below his Yahoo! ADP (67).

Added to the Celtics’ injury report early Monday afternoon, Pritchard has been cleared to play after going through an individual workout. He’ll occupy his usual place in the starting lineup, with Anfernee Simons missing out on a boost to his fantasy value.

Pritchard is a late addition to the injury report, and there’s a chance he’ll be sidelined for the first time this season. If that’s the case, Anfernee Simons could join the first unit for the first time in a Celtics uniform.

One of three Celtics to score at least 20 points on Thursday, Pritchard was also responsible for eight assists. Before the 146-101 blowout of the Wizards, he last reached that number in a November 23 win over the Magic. Pritchard’s scoring has not been as consistent as hoped recently, but he’s still averaging 18.4 points per game over the past two weeks. He’ll look to build on Thursday’s effort when the Celtics host the Lakers on Friday.

Pritchard stepped up to carry Boston on the second night of a back-to-back with Derrick White (calf) sidelined, eclipsing the lofty 40-point mark for the first time this season. He came out of the gate firing, scoring eight points in the first two minutes, and finished the half with a game-high 18 points. He finished 6-of-11 from beyond the arc and shot a blistering 68 percent overall. His biggest moment came in the final minute when he buried a turnaround jumper in the lane to give Boston a five-point cushion, later sealing the win with a pair of free throws in the closing seconds. The Celtics open a four-game week Tuesday against the Knicks before matchups with the Wizards, Lakers and Raptors.

After a two-game stretch in which he totaled 10 points on 4-of-17 shooting, Pritchard has scored at least 20 in three straight. During this three-game run, the Celtics guard has averaged 25.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 6.0 three-pointers while shooting 51.1 percent from the field and 90.9 percent from the foul line. That production has been good for top-20 value, so managers who may have panicked after that poor two-game stretch can calm down.

Pritchard knocked down eight of 13 three-point attempts, including four after halftime, to eclipse the 30-point mark for the first time this year. He calmly sank his first free throws of the evening with 1.6 seconds remaining to extend the lead to three and seal the victory. The 27-year-old guard has been inconsistent from deep this season, averaging 2.5 made threes per game after hitting 3.2 per game last year. He’s averaging 16.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 0.8 steals through 14 contests.

Pritchard bounced back from a couple of inefficient five-point performances by tallying his second-highest scoring total of the season. The veteran guard matched his season-high in threes during his 30 minutes of game action and came up just one assist shy of his third double-double this season. Pritchard had been playing very well during November up until the two previous games. With a strong showing against Memphis, he seems to be back on track.

Since going through a three-game stretch in which he shot 3-of-21 from beyond the arc, Pritchard has found his stroke. Making five of his eight attempts, the Celtics guard has gone 11-of-25 from deep over the last three games, scoring at least 18 points in each. Pritchard offers limited defensive value, making his three-point production that much more critical to his fantasy value. He and the Celtics will look to even the score when they face the Magic again on Sunday.

Pritchard was expected to pop this season as a starter, and while he has been able to occupy that role, he hasn’t been as productive as many hoped. Last season, he averaged 3.2 three-pointers per game, but this was the first game this year that he hit more than two shots from deep. Pritchard will continue to play a large role on offense for the Celtics, and hopefully this was a performance that will get him going from beyond the arc.

Both players scored 15 points in the Celtics’ one-point win over the 76ers on Friday night. Pritchard and White are both probable with various injuries on the second night of a back-to-back against the Rockets. It’s likely both of them suit up given their probable injury designations. Anfernee Simons would be counted on for even more scoring if either Pritchard or White is ultimately ruled out.

Pritchard shot 40.7 percent from behind the three-point line last year, but entering play Friday he was at 18.9 percent this year. The 27-year-old point guard proceeded to go 1-of-9 from three-point land against the 76ers on Friday. Pritchard obviously has an opportunity for more usage with Jayson Tatum (Achilles) out this year, but it might not matter if he can’t find his three-point jump shot.

With Derrick White and Jaylen Brown resting, the Celtics opened Friday’s exhibition with a backcourt of Pritchard and Anfernee Simons. They played well off of each other, combining to score 37 points to help Boston build what appeared to be a solid lead heading into the fourth quarter. Head coach Joe Mazzulla went deep into his bench then, and the Raptors outscored the Celtics 30-18 to grab the win. As for Pritchard, he’s a must-draft player after an excellent 2024-25 season, especially with the Celtics’ many roster changes and Jayson Tatum’s Achilles tendon rupture.

One of the adjustments that was on the table for the Celtics entering Game 3 was to give Pritchard more minutes, which is exactly what they did. Kristaps Porzingis is clearly at less than 100 percent while dealing with an illness and only saw 19 minutes in Game 3 while Pritchard played 34 minutes, which is the most he’s played in any game this series. The Celtics adjusted by playing Pritchard more, but didn’t back down at the three-point line as they hoisted 40 shots from downtown. Pritchard made 5-of-10 three-pointers as the Celtics took Game 3 by 22 points. It’s likely that this is an adjustment that could stick and Pritchard will be more of a fixture over the rest of the series than he was in the first two games.

Pritchard has been the favorite to win Sixth Man of the Year honors for most of this season, and he showed why on Sunday. With some of Boston’s stars having slow days at the office, Pritchard provided excellent offensive value off the bench. Add in Derrick White’s 30 points and Jrue Holiday (9/3/5/3 with three three-pointers) hitting three timely third-quarter threes while playing stifling defense, and the Celtics were able to take care of business in Game 1. Pritchard’s ability to provide scoring in quick bursts will be important in this series, especially if the Magic can slow down star wings Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum.

It wasn’t surprising to see Pritchard thrive with the keys to the offense in the Celtics’ final game of the season. He finished the regular season scoring at least 20 points in three of his final five games. His role will likely diminish come playoff time, though. Despite how exceptional he’s been off the bench this season.

Pritchard played 22 minutes off the bench as the Celtics won by 36 points Friday against the Hornets. The 27-year-old point guard, potentially in line for the Sixth Man of the Year award, was efficient with 22 points on 11 shots and four made three-pointers. While Pritchard comes off the bench, he’s a key player for the Celtics, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see him unavailable for the season finale Sunday against the Hornets.

As has been the case on numerous occasions this season, Pritchard is more valuable to fantasy managers when the Celtics are down at least one starter. The reigning champs played Sunday without Jayson Tatum and Kristaps Porzingis, raising Pritchard’s fantasy ceiling despite coming off the bench. With the Celtics playing four games during Week 23, he’ll be worth adding in shallow leagues that will remain active.

This will be Pritchard’s second absence of the season, with the other coming in early February. With one of the best bench scorers in the league unavailable, Joe Mazzulla will likely turn to Sam Hauser and Baylor Scheierman for extra minutes off the bench.

Tillman has only appeared in three games since the beginning of February, last playing on March 6. His availability does not impact fantasy basketball. However, Pritchard leads all bench scorers this season and has been good enough to merit being rostered in standard leagues. If he cannot play against the Spurs, more minutes would become available to Sam Hauser off the bench. Also, Jayson Tatum (ankle) will absorb some of those minutes as he is off the injury report.

Pritchard got his first start of the season on Sunday, but he returned to playing his typical role as Boston’s sixth man. That is where he has been most comfortable this year, and he was once again able to have a strong performance off the bench. This was his sixth-straight game with at least three three-pointers, which lines up with Boston’s current winning streak. Jayson Tatum (ankle) exited early with an ankle injury, and while that doesn’t mean that Pritchard will start, he should see a few extra minutes and shots.

Sunday was Pritchard’s annual opportunity to play in the state he grew up in. With Jaylen Brown, Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday out due to injury, Pritchard moved into the starting lineup. Early foul trouble slowed the Celtics guard during the first half, but he still finished with a solid stat line. As has been the case throughout the season, Pritchard’s fantasy value depends on the availability of Boston’s starters. The Celtics play in Sacramento on Monday, which may be another opportunity for Pritchard to flourish if players sit for injury management/rest reasons.

The Celtics are without Jrue Holiday, Jaylen Brown, and Kristaps Porzingis for Sunday’s game. Tatum’s return helps account for those absences, while Pritchard and Hauser move into the starting lineup. Pritchard will make his first start of the season.

Boston was without Jaylen Brown for this game and is set to be without him again to close out the week on Sunday in Portland. That means that Pritchard should once again see some extra minutes. His numbers weren’t eye-popping, but he has scored in double figures in four straight games. Pritchard has certainly gone through some cold stretches this season, but when he starts to heat up, it usually lasts for a few games. He’ll look to add more buckets and three-pointers on Sunday, which is the first night of a back-to-back for Boston.

To no one’s surprise, Pritchard stepped up on a night when the Celtics were shorthanded. The betting favorite to win Sixth Man of the Year has scored 20 points or more on 20 occasions this season, nine more than the 2023-24 campaign. With Jaylen Brown exiting Saturday’s game with back spasms, Pritchard’s fantasy ceiling may be raised for Week 20, even if Derrick White and Al Horford are available. They did not play against the Nets.
